I think the people who make a big thing out of calling themselves Christians

are often the ones who just use it as a tool to 'rule' over others instead

of actually quietly living the faith. I have lots of Christian friends who

don't go around shouting about it and only mention it in passing when the

conversation turns that way.

Jo

ps I also have a Pagan friend who is an ex nun.

Why would it make any difference? It was also pointed out by Amylia (?) that there is good and bad in every section, including those who have not heard the teachings of Jesus.

Jo

If he had changed to the biblical holy day,and not vice-versa and tried to spread the practical teachings of Jesus we might have a better world then the one we have now.

>Most would agree that the world could be a better place to live.I would like to think that we all, in some way have an aim to >improve things for the future.>

Many Pagans are interested in conservation. There is Pagan Animal Rights, The Dragon Environmental Network, and lots (I mean lots) of tree planting groups. These are the ones that I can think of in ten seconds, but there will be lots more. These activities are all intended to make the world a better place.

People do need to be shown love, even if they rebel against it at first, ultimately that want we all would like.

I agree that people need to be loved and that means accepting them as they are. How do you propose to force love on them when they rebel?

Women can actually have an effect on the gender. Depending on what food you eat (an I'm afraid I cannot remember what foods do what) the secretions are either acid or alkali, and this, apparently has an effect on which sperm are able to make the full journey. I read the article some ten or more years ago, so cannot remember the fine details.

I will admit that this area of history is not my expertise - but it seems to

me that if it was as simple as getting rid of a wife, he'd have just

divorced her, like he did with his first wife.

I know absolutely nothing about Judaism, but didn't Madonna get into trouble

from the Jewish quarter for using prayer blocks/boxes (?????) in her video.

I don't know the video - just read about it in a magazine. Never been a

Madonna fan - wouldn't even recognise her voice.
