Nah - no Masons with this one. Well - that is - I don't doubt that some of

them are Masons, but that's not really relevant :-)

If I ever come over as sounding rude or judgemental about America please

know that it is only the people in power that I am dissing.

I'll try to remember that, Jo!

I have two opinions - I don't know which one I favour. The first is that US

is the most powerful country in the world and Blair is hedging our bets and

playing safe. The second is that historically US and UK are more bound up

than we (the normal people) know, and are still intricately bound together.

Fraggle, I did read that about Dubya's ranch--all the finest

environmentally friendly doodads, blah, blah. The rest of us don't get the

raspberry; we get the finger big time. He's the Marie Antoinette of the

21st century: let them breathe smog and drink arsenic-tainted water. Oh,

yeah, and eat salmonella-tainted meat in their school lunches.

apparantly he is concerned about his ranch tho...

he uses recycled water there, and has solar power this and that...

but, fer the rest of us, well, we get the big rasberry

i like the fact that in his new budget, ya get a tax right off if ya buy a

new SUV, as a matter of fact, the bigger it is, the bigger the write off,

and some of em are 100% tax back!!!

yeehaw!

I'm a chocolate worshipper. I love vegan chocolate goodies--especially in

the two weeks before and the two weeks after my period!

And the ultimate megagod of the chocolate pantheon is Goldenberg's Peanut

Chews. MMMMMMMM. If you liked Snickers before you went vegan, you have GOT

to try these.

Hi Jo! :)

That is prety much what I thought too. I wish he wouldn't be so

agreeable with " us " though. I appreciate UK's support, but maybe if

we didn't have him always on our side, our idiots wouldn't be so

quick to execute stupid attacks. Of course, it's not Blair's fault,

we have no problem executing stupid ideas of any kind on our own!

I don't think yer opinions have ever been rude or judgemental at all.

I appreciate all of your thought and insight. If I don't agree,

doesn't mean I fault you for what you said. It just gives me better

insight into the whole picture.

Good Morning Fraggle! :)

I figured that too, but still, there has to be a limit right? And I

have yet to see one and it scares me.

The funny part is, didn't we as pilgrims come here to America to

escape British rule and now here we are as their bodyguard. And I bet

if you asked most people there, they would say they do not want it.

(using the words " we " and such as figurative)

I dunno, maybe I don't know what i'm talking about, wouldn't be the

first time. lol That's why I wanted to ask, because I don't like

assuming. :)

Thanks everyone for yer thoughts!

Won't work--Bush and Ashcroft Co's Total Information Awareness Network can

see through tin foil. There is no escape. There is not escape. Either

they didn't read 1984, or they did and have fantasized about it ever since.
