Guest guest
Herbee, After several years of migraine, I have found that upping my daily intake of Magnesium to 500 mg has been the best thing without resorting to prescription medication. Taking too much Tylenol can give you rebound headaches and is not a good idea. It can damage your stomach and liver. You should be able to find Oolong tea at any health food store. If not, try the Republic of Tea at their website: http://www.republicoftea.com Karen in San Diego daluvslug wrote: > I need a headache remedy, I am taking far to much tylenol and I get > headaches all the time, > and need to find relief! > > HI...I'm Herbee,(female), live in lovely Oregon, and am trying to take > hold of my own medical > health, without benefit of perscription, or damaging over the counter > meds. Guest guest
Thanks very much. I will sure give that a try. Believe it or not, not one health store in my area had oolong tea. I finally found it at an asian market. I cannot take statins, and my cholesterol is sky high, my diet is good, I eat mostly vegetables, raw, and fruits, and chicken, only, no red meat at all. I only use whole grains, and am walking daily, so am not sure what else to do, but I was told that oolong tea helps to lower the bad cholesterol, and am willing to give anything a try at this point. Guest guest
Dear Deb, I am sorry to hear of your loss and my heart goes out to you. My first piece of advice is to ensure you go out for long walks in the country. This will help to keep you exterior to your problems. Connect up with other members of your church and let them know you're having a rough time of it. Forget about the Psychs and stick with your fellow church members whatever religious affiliation you belong to. Right now these are the people who should be supporting you emotionally. If you have no religion, then search for one. This is a case where any is better than none. Just the search alone, can bring about peace of mind. As far as NUTRITION is concerned, there is nothing that beats our Total Nutrition Formula. If I could have only one nutritious remedy, this would be it. It will help with all the physical aspects of depression, hormones, and many other physical conditions you may be experiencing. At least, you'll know your body is getting the correct building blocks to build a healthier body. Guest guest
Totally eliminate simple carbs from your diet - any kind of sugar (including artificial sugars), flour, junk foods - do the gluten-free diet that someone with celiac disease would eat. Add plant-based enzymes and probiotics. Guest guest
you could try m-grain from youngliving. my daughter has had good results. its a blend of oils you place on your temples or the back of the neck. you also need to keep a food journal and see if it is something you are eating. also check your blood pressure it could be high or low. clear all toxic cleaners and stuff from your home as well. stress? maybe chiropractic? dont give up. andrea Tammy Christy <tammychristy Sent: Monday, August 11, 2008 4:05:44 PMRe: help Hi so sorry you feel sick .I think you may need to stay away from anything that has MSG in it like soup and chinese food .Try some chamomile tea with honey that always helps me . good luck and i hope you feel better soon ! Guest guest
Are you saying that you have heart disease? If you have time, you can do some herbs. But you'll also want to look at your cholesterol, exercise, smoking, drinking, cussing, etc. If you're not ready to start (or quit) these things, you might reconsider the balloon. If you're talking about deep vein thrombosis, you can also do well with herbs, but again, if there is an immediate chance of a stroke, then you might consider the quicker options provided by the doctors. Guest guest
If you can list some symptoms that arise from your vein problem that would better direct the Chinese herbal therapy. Symptoms are things that you observe in your body, not so much your thoughts on the topic, but stuff you notice that doesn't seem right. Examples include pain, vericose veins, dizziness, constpation, etc. On Fri, Feb 27, 2009 at 9:33 AM, ladyflov <shamandot wrote: > No not heart disease but blockage in vein near bowel. Guest guest
Why no posting for awhile is that i went into hospital and got a stint put in. Not exactly what I wanted but it is working i can walk again before the operation couldn't walk or stand on feet for more then 5 minutes before my legs went to rubber. Now I can walk and do things again. I bathed in cayenne to help keep my legs from going worse drank hawthorn tea and burdock trying to clean the blood an it did help I got to have a stint and no by pass surgery. Although I wouldn't recommend going through the procedure without pain killers Its hurts worse then anything. Yet I am on the mend just can't sit for long periods till my body gets used to this thing inside of me. Thanks for all the advice I appreciate it We are always learning and improving and coming closer to our spiritual beings All writings unless stated are copyrighted to D.
