The Great Way has no gate;

there are a thousand paths to it.

If you pass through the barrier,

you walk the universe alone.

And you talk to people and tell them how you walk alone.

Then, if you're lucky, hundreds of years later, someone named Tim quotes you on

an internet list.

You don't get any royalties, but still you have a good laugh.

I have no evidence of talking to people.

People tell me that, but I hear myself speaking.

BTW, is there a problem with feeling that others are my Self?

I don't mean other bodies.

The self will cling to anything that appears to give it an identity.

It likes to think that it is everything and everybody.

But for it everything is merely a huge stack of post-its.

What is this self you speak of? It's the word " self " ! Words don't cling to

anything.

The snake is a rope. Nothing clings to anything.

> It likes to think that it is everything and everybody.

Thoughts don't like or dislike anything. Not even the thought " self " .

Nope. Not bodies, and not antibodies. Just nobodies.

It took me five years of actively dying to even begin to 'hear' what it means.

Thankfully, five years without the pollution of spiritual words... without

anything but steadily shrinking 'horizons' and impending death.

I'm not claiming enlightenment. There's really no such thing.... but we can say

there's ignorance and it's absence. I'll happily claim absence of endarkenment

;-).

P.S. despite popular objection, I don't see anything wrong with some sort of

claim of awakening... if it'll stop you from seeking anything. You can even

claim to be a chicken-fried beef steak, if it helps ;-).

Thankfully, five years without the pollution of spiritual words... without

yeah thinking about things takes time.

eliminating them is done in a flash.

and it requires no effort nor years of trials and tribulations..

nor forebodings of imment death or just plain Immanence..

that stuff all requires a somebody.

a somebody with an important story.

it actually requires no one...

in no time.

because that's the way it is.

it's never going to change.

it's never been any different.

Things are the way they are now.

However, things that never change and will never be any different *aren't* the

way they are now.

Granted, I told a story above. What's important is now.

That's the way it is now. It may change. It may have been different.

What is never going to change and has never been any different is merely a

story.

it's good to see things work out.

we never take werner seriously.

it would be nice if he didn't try to take us at all.

but not taking us seriously is a good start.

the it of which you speak is not the real It.

of course It is not an object..

nor a subject.

these are not two in It.

nothing is objectified nor made into a subjective moment.

you are lost in word dependency and thus play word games.

It must be kindled spontaneously.

It is then Identity without participant.

It cannot be transmitted like a spark through conversation..

nor science nor religion nor faith nor belief nor words.

It is a " grace " bestowed or It remains hidden away.

keep searching till there is nothing to search for..

no one searching...

nothing.

Blessed are the blessed.
