  1. But what about those who are neither? Example: What about children?

As I stated above every effort should be made to point out the inaccuracies to the interested parties. Naturally, adequate guidance should be given to the children.

  2. Personally I do not think one should be offended by the inaccurate depiction of the Shastra.

However, in all cases I think one should make every attempt to point out the inaccuracies to the interested parties.

Incidently, Sri Ram and Sita maintained love and compassion midst far worst offenses.

I think, to a believer, the truth need not be defended from inaccuracies. The truth will stand up on its on feet in all scrutinies. On the other hand no amount of correction or explanation will make the non-believers see the Truth.

  3. In the middle of a dark and thick night, the Captain of a ship notices a flicker of light on the horizon, which appeared to be in a direct path of his vessel.

The Captain motions the first officer to signal....... “turn 5 degrees to starboard side”.

To which the reply was,........“You turn 5 degrees to starboard”.

The Captain in a firmer voice motions the First Officer to signal..... “Turn 5 degrees to starboard side, This is A CAPTAIN ”.

The reply came .............. “You turn 5 degrees to starboard side, this is a seaman”

The Captain could no longer tolerate such an exhibition of insubordination in marine safety procedures. The Captain vehemently orders to signal.............. “Turn 5 degrees to starboard side, or prepare to be be crushed........this is a moving FREIGHTER”

The reply was “you turn 5 degree to starboard side, this is a stationary lighthouse”

Those who worship Allah to them Allah is the supreme, those who worship Jesus to them Jesus

is supreme. Therefore, in there own right they both are correct.

The Lord provides what we desire, so perhaps they all are correct.

  5. Once in a long discussion with a person of Christian faith, I could not make him understand following sentence.

“If we can sin in ignorance, then we must accept suffering without understanding.”

He believes, living a life as Christian he no longer sins. Therefore I guess he believes he is

    saved.

  6. I received this article by e mail. Do not not if the facts are true.

It's incredible! But true. An Indian boy in his twelfth standard has

disproved Einstein's "Theory of Relativity." Shocked??? Read on.

Sudarshan Reddy has theoretically proven the existence of a subatomic

particle which can travel at speeds greater than that of light, thereby

challenging one of the fundamental postulates of the "Theory of Relativity."

In his recent research paper submitted to the "Institute of Advanced

Physics(IAP)" at Trieste, (Italy) Sudarshan has proved the existence of a

class of subatomic particles alled 'leptons', which can travel faster than

light. The international physics community has been shell shocked by this

    discovery.

Dr.Massimo Martelli, President of the IAP has this to say about the paper

submitted by Sudarshan: " After a long, careful and critical analysis, I can

confidently say that Sudarshan 's research paper show a tremendous leap in

    our understanding of

physics as his investigation mounts up on 'leptons'. His work builds

substantially on the work of Einstein and others in the

    field of relativity.

When physicists from Princeton University tried to measure Sudarshan's IQ

with an IQ-meter (at the American embassy in Delhi), the meter broke down,

simply because it was not calibrated to measure such high IQ. This was

    reported in 'Times of India.'

Prof. Carl Uppsala, Chairman of the Nobel subcommittee for physics has

confirmed that Sudarshan has been shortlisted for the Nobel prize in physics

for the year 2001. Sudarshan, incidentally, is the brother of Madhu Reddy,

    the Indian whiz kid

who developed an operating system superior to Microsoft Windows.

We should all be very proud of these boys. Please forward this email to as

many Indians as you can. Jai Hind!!

    Ok, point taken.

However, the above statement is a weak argument, since majority of the people are not facing starvation.

  8. Hi Shvu:

    -------------------------

Yes. The carrot is alive until it is pulled out of the ground and chopped up after which it dies. The Vegetarian with a superiority complex does not like to admit such facts, but irrespective of whether he likes it or not, the fact remains that plants have life too. We kill plants and eat them so that we can stay alive.

    ---------------------------

I think all Vegitarians know that plants are living entity. The only difference is that they they see a difference between killing an animal and killing a vegitable.

As far as I know, I do not think vegiterians have superior complex about this, they just have a major difference in opinion.

  9. It is interesting to note that, if meat eating people see nothing wrong in killing animals, then why do they not see an airing of a documentary on plucking apples to make making an apple pie in the same light as slaughtering of the animals for making of a meat pie.

    Or

Sending children to the slaughter house as field trip.

    Or

Or opening a Slaughter house next a school or a church.
