Is there a difference between a Vaisnava and a Hare Krishna (For lack of a better term)??

I know I have asked this question in the past But there are new people and I would like to get others opinions on this issue. I hear the voice of my former Buddhist Lama and his wife.. They try with all there might to make me think that I am some monstrous pervert and that my only hope is to be their slave. Being their slave means.. They tell me how to do EVERYTHING.. When to brush my teeth, when to wake up, Whether I should drink a drink.. They butt into all that I do and dare to call it help. Its extremely annoying.. I can do these remedial tasks on my own. its down right insulting. I know that I'm not a monstrous pervert.. I do less than the average male college student in the US. And they dare call me the pervert.. Everytime I find a woman attractive they try to make me think that the reason why I find them attractive is because I want to have sex with them. I know damn well that is not the case. I cannot be humble to these voices.. I will not be their slave. I need to get rid of them.. I am Diagnosed with Paranoid Schizophrenia and I am considered a recovered schizophrenic.. I can live my life on my own with little to no help from the Mental Health center.. However my suffering is still there. I just manage it better than most Schizos. If anyone can give me a suggestion that would be GREATLY appreciated. I am so sick of dealing with these voices.

What can a schizophrenic do? How can he escape his voices?

Whats involved with puja? How can I perform it? I'm an Artist.. can I Draw Krishna as a thing to do in Puja? I was reading a little on other sites but they were asking of different chants and stuff.. so Before I went any further I decided to ask first. Isnt the Hare Krishna Chant enough?

How does one get the title "dasa".. Is there another name for it?

So.. Your saying that it's only good to things unless you make money at it? So I can only play a Roleplaying Game unless Its a career? So what would you say to that? No? I wasnt even chanting when Krishna revealed himself to me.. I was a Buddhist when one day he appeared to me in my mind and at that moment I was struck with awe and immediatly converted from Buddhism to Hinduism. Then I was reading about my post about Krishnas position in the Godhead and I saw a shining light in my heart center and I had an amazing sense of peace. I dont know what to say.. I dont know why he hasnt reveled to others who chant the mantra.. Do you Love him?

I love to play storytelling games other wise known as roleplaying.. Do I need to give these up? Its my favorite past time and I'd rather play these games than watch TV.

Nope.. I dont know even how to read this. I want it to list the months and dates from the hindu calendar. Like Chaitra, Vaisakha, Jyaistha and so forth.. What you sent me is a western calendar listing Hindu events.

Do you need to be like a Monk to be Krishna conscious? Do I need to be elevated in status to be closer to Krishna or can I find Krishna as a person with no title??

Woe..After reading Beggars post I just got an amazing sense of peace.. It was like Krishna is within me. I felt a peace and love it was great. The more I learn the more I believe this religion is soooooo right. Oops.. Not Beggars post.. What does The Supreme personality of Godhead mean? Is he the combination of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva?

I cant figure this out. I thought I had it but I dont.. I tried to map out the Months according to the moon. I have the first of Magha on Jan 19th because of the new moon.. But I count out only 29 days of the month of Magha. when I have read Magha has 30 days.. I must be doing something wrong.

Excuse my ignorance.. are there other books on Krishnas teaching? I know there must be more than just the BG because I hear stories that arent in the BG. Or am I wrong? :confused:

Ok I think I have it right.. every month starts on a new moon.. So the 20th of December is the first of Pausha. Now I just dont know what day of the week it is.. The first of Pausha falls on what day of the week? I would still like a copy of your Calendar Avinash

I want it for 2 reasons.. 1 - So I know when the (Hindu) Holidays are and 2 - I just would like to know what the date is on the Hindu Calendar.. I just found it fascinating the more I tried to find it.. How its all set up by a lunar phase.. Also made me think about Hindu Astrology.. And not the stuff like we get here in the U.S.

I didnt know where else to post this.. I usualy get responses here when I dont know where to post something. Ive been looking for a Hindu Calendar and my luck is bad.. I did find some sites like http://hinduism.iskcon.com/practice/402.htm I tried using a Moon Phase calendar along side the info on the list but I couldnt fit the moon phase with the chart. I must be doing something wrong. However if someone knows where I can find a Calendar that would be fantastic!! I have downloaded the Vedic Calendar here at India Divine and its not what I'm looking for.. It gives Western Dates and Events on those dates.. I want an actual Calendar

Ive tried to look up these but I couldnt find anything on it really. Can you give me another name of this holiday or something?

With the Christmas season starting I have been wondering. What Holidays do Hindus celebrate??
