  1. Is is written that if you use a little cintama,ni dhuupa according to the instructions, you even become ruler of the world. Does anyone know how to use cintama,ni dhuupa, if not for ruling the world, at least for attaining health and the necessities of life? Or at least, which Deity should be worshipped for the cintama,ni dhuupa to take effect?

  2. Too many things r said about Kalki, and some of them r coarse lies. This text is extremely interesting as it describes what is about to happen, and if you believe me, we may not live long enough to see Kalki, but this generation after us will surely see Him.

So i give you this link:

    [url="http://users.sch.gr/ioakenanid/kalkipurana.htm"]

and if you can read sanskrit, you shall enjoy that beautiful puraanam. If you cannot yet read sanskrit, this is great material for your study to learn sanskrit. You may download it for free, and then you may even edit it as you want.

I know my system of transliteration will puzzle you at start, but if you are really interested for this text, you can substitute any letter as you prefer, and so read the whole without problem.

  3. Balaraama was God, not man, so rules were not for Him, rules r for us people. Eating meat is permitted if it is properly sacrificed on proper days and hours. Kr,sna Himself used to go hunting to bring animals for sacrifice - and eating, this is written in Shrimad-bhagawatam.

  4.

Is there an authoratative source, or are you making it up in your superstition? Do tell.

    OOOM! GOWINDA! DAAMODARA! MAADhAWA!

You made me feel like Kr,sna when he is amused by making his devotees angry; isn't he?

I have seen handsome boys doing dangerous games at the sea cliffs, and i felt i saw Kr,sna; i saw graceful girls and i felt i saw Raadhaa. In fact, God is the loved element in everything that is loved; God is the loving element in everything that loves.

There is no authoritative source in this world unless your own experience. Now limited in the body, then free from a body, it is all experience. If there were an objective authority, all people would have one only religion and one only political party. Religions contradict each other, so they cannot all say the truth in everything.

Years of Kr,sna worship have given me a taste for jokes; let me tell a turkish joke: Nasreddin Hoca was snoring when travelling, the others travelling with him could not stand such a loud granular snoring; so they woke him up saying: stop snoring! Nasreddin answered: how do u know i m snoring? - how do we know? we hear u, we see u! - believe not what u hear, and only half of what you see! answered Nasreddin.

And another even better, u should remember that: Nasreddin Hoca did not want to lend his donkey; someone came to his door and asked to borrow Nasreddin's donkey; Sorry, said Nasreddin, my donkey is not here, i have already lent it to someone else. For his bad luck, the donkey brayed at that moment. -Why r u telling me lies?! your donkey is here, i heard it bray! -You don't believe me, a priest, a respectable old man with a white beard, and you believe a donkey?! without even seeing it?!

Kr,sna says "you think scriptures are my word? not exactly, people have written them and re-written them with countless motives, clean or not so clean motives. And there are also mistakes in transmission and printing. The worst of all is the endless commentaries which completely bury what is really or what is supposed to be my word. Only who thinks freely, thinks well". You are already too angry, so you might commit an offence against your progress. I have prepared an essay, but i shall not publish it here. it is no more fun to make people that angry, even if they r fanatics. So we talk again when we both evidently grow. No need to reply to this.

Best regards, (and thanks for the information, u helped me confirm my beliefs)

    Your superstitious friend.

OM HAYACARA BhAYAHARA KARAHARAShARA,NA KhARATARA WARAShARA DAShABALADAMANA!

JAYA HATAPARABhARA BhAWAWARANAShANA ShAShADhARAShATASAMA RASABhARAWADANA OM!

  5. If you could here Kr,sna’s voice: “u got a wrong name for yourself. A true Vaai, snava must not have an L in his name, and even worse if it is in the 3rd syllable; because L is the sound of lying and cheating. U should not like mohana, because mohana is to hide the truth, or myself. You say I m the truth, but u use me as a narcotic. Especially, u want to b slave, when I have created you free! I do not force any creature to slavery; this is shown by the cows, they give me milk, which is properly for their children, not because they r slaves, but only because they love me; people and demigods rule by forcing their subjects, I rule only through love, so I rule the whole world without having any creature as “dasa”, slave. My laws and orders are to protect, enhance and upgrade all creatures’ life; don’t u think u shall escape my laws and orders by calling yourself a slave and therefore irresponsible for your actions”. This is what Kr,sna tells you, but you do not listen.

I did not find the word Gaudiya in the dictionary. What is the gaudiya sect, and if it is not trouble, can you explain me what Vaai, snava sects you know, and what is the specific character of each?

  6. I do not like meat and i do not eat it unless others offer it to me, and then if i can have a choice i choose other meats than cattle, because i always observe it brings bad luck. and even more i dislike alcoholic drinks. But i make a little alcoholic drinks myself and rarely i drink a small cup or less, once a month or so. You made me curious, you seem u have read a lot, can you please explain me what Kali is? Is it a female or male deity? born or unborn? if born, who are Kali's parents, and who is Kali's consort? Is it true that a deity is powerful through sacrifices received? If so, what is sacrificed to Kali, and who sacrifices it? Anyway, what makes Kali powerful? How powerful is Kali compared to other deities? I cannot yet give you the golden prize, because i m confused. I even doubt if Kr,sna is a vaai, snava deity, is kr,sna a vaai, snava or a shaakta deity? From what I see, worship of kr,sna works like shaakta worship: it gives quick results especially in matters of love affairs, quick success and even more quick failure, but not any explicit enlightment or power for sexual power restraint: on the contrary, I have observed very easy lose of semen and nocturnal emission at every occasion of kr,sna worship, as if worshipping other shaakta deities. This is why i cannot worship Kr,sna although i have shed rivers of tears reading his stories. He may give success, but not enlightment or power or strength. this is especially true about the Hare Kr,sna mahaamantra: it has proven to be useless and harmful to me. Everything, even the most holy name, is judged by the consequences, not by theory.

Jesus said: blessed are those who r hungry and thirsty for justice, and Mahaatma Gandhi "there is no religion superior to truth or justice". But u r too much attached to a religion. You put religion higher than justice. M. Gandhi was right in saying: "it is easy to talk about God when you have filled your stomach. But for a hungry person God can have no other form than bread and butter".

Today i heard someone using bad language against Virgin Mary, and shortly after that i bumped my head accidentally. This is the opposite of justice! Someone offends the divine, and someone else pays for that! Then i said to Virgin Mary: they r right in offending you, if you punish the innocent instead of the offender!

"sarwa-dharma parityaja" does not impress me very much, for when Kr,sna was on earth, he ordered Arjuna to fight, and kill countless people, for dharma. Action speaks louder than words. If Kr,sna was now on earth, he would order the righteous people to fight against who? Is there in the country of all wisdom a method of divination that would explicitely reveal the instructions of the Supreme deity to each individual?

Sorry if i offer nothing but doubt and confusion, confusion is better than prejudice you know.

Now i remember, Jesus said: if 2 or 3 people pray for something on which they agree, their wish will come true. Wish with me that all people know the consequences of their activities and also that all people know those who cause misfortune to the world!

  7. There r only 2 types of worship: worship of dharma and worship of adharma. Now, which is the worship of adharma? which is the deity that supports the performers of adharma? what does their deity receive as sacrifice? Every kind of conduct has a supporting deity, so adharma ,which is prevalent, must have a powerful supporting deity, or it could not stand in the world. I do not care about other divisions of faith. I care about dharma. If adharma makes the performer happy, i want to practice adharma. So if you know, please tell me which is the deity of adharma.

But if adharma makes the performer unlucky, then how is it that it is prevalent?

When you admit that a hen laid it, then you must admit it is an egg; otherwise you r only quibbling.

  8.

    do u think u r clever?or other ppls r stupid?

Did i say that someone is stupid? or did i ever say that i m clever? I only put a question and yet nobody has answered. What you said is not an answer. And i need an answer, because i m not so clever as to answer myself. No, i do not know what the point is to worship God, when other people nullify our worship.

  9.

It is by our free will that things (materially-speaking, at least) are deteriorating.

Very wise. This is what the Christians say: pistewe kai mee erewna =believe and do not inquire, do not research. Sure, the rulers of this world want such people: obeying, obeying, and never asking "why".

    But Paatanjali says: pratyaxa+anumana+agama: pramanaani.

Every creature is motivated by profit, spiritual or material. Everything is done for living, and for better living. Nobody can believe without a reason. If i must blindly believe, why shall i believe YOU and not a muslim or a christian or a Shaakta who says:to a thousand names of Vishnu a single name of Siva is preferred. To a thousand names of Siva, one single name of Devi is preferred.

  10. When He left Vrndavana for Mathura, while the gopis were tearing their hearts from sorrow, he said "I shall return". But he never returned to Vrndavana. You may say he is omnipresent as supersoul; that is another question. Anyway, in the form of Kr,sna with a visible body, He never returned to Vrndavana. This must b either cruelty, or telling lies, or mere poetry not to b taken literally.

  11. Let the first question b this:

does Lord Kr,sna want this "kaliyuga"? Is he pleased with adharma? "kaliyuga" is adharma. Does he want adharma to prevail? If he likes adharma, we all must work against dharma. If he does not like adharma, then why did he leave us? When he left his feet off the earth, "kaliyuga" started. So, if he remained on earth, there would always be "krtayuga", anyway there would be no kaliyuga, no prevalence of adharma. If he was able to live for ever, then he ought not to leave the earth allowing kaliyuga to start. If he was not able to live for ever, then he was not the supreme God.

(Of course, the same applies to Jesus: after he rose from dead, he ought to remain on earth to continue fighting against evil and continue performing his miracles - the greatest miracle being his living thousands of years).

  12.

i am so so worried, the girl that i like ,,and have confessed my love,,for her,,she even did admit she loves me,,we plan to get married,,n she is cheating onme now,,

    tHANK YOU

Sorry, mate, if i knew such a mantra i would use it myself. When you or your girlfriend eat meat, or when you r under a curse, there is nothing i can do. I m nearly 10 years without a woman. Still u may address Lord Qr,sna, try OOOM GOWINDA DAAMODARA MAADhAWA and see my signature for how to pronounce it. There is no timing restriction etc., use it all the time mentally, and when nobody listens you may chant it aloud too. In my cd word i give u the melody for it. Please let me know if it works. My email is in my homepage.

  13.

The translation of the poem is

Many have read many a scriptures and passed on

Real pundit is the one who has read (and understood) the two and a half syllable word of prema (love)

    Bhakti~Lata

Once i watched Niel Simon's theatrical play "fools". The fool young woman was in love with the teacher, and she implored to him: "please, teach me what love is. If i knew what love is, i could withstand thousands of courses!". (You may search for the play on the web)

I like you so much because you r zriiQr,sna's devotee, but i have doubts, as the shaaktaas say Qr,sna is not the whole Vi,snu, but only an incarnation of the Great Mother to allure women.

I must post a new thread about my doubts.

  14. Dear Vai,snavaas, if these words offend you, please do not blame me. Suta is supposed to have said these. If this is a lie, how can you prove it? Is the world in Vaai, snavaas hands or in Shaaktaas hands? What one sees in the world is that Shaaktaas and not Vaai, snavaas rule. If it is true, you waste your whole life in useless worship. Do not tell me "yes and no". This phalashruti is true OR false.

Thus, O pot-born one, the thousand names declared to you, the secret of secrets which pleases Lalita

There has been no stotra equal in merit to this, nor is there ever to be one such. This stotra causes all disease to subside and confers all prosperity.

It averts untimely death, avoids timely death, removes the pain caused by fever and confers longevity.

It blesses the issueless with sons and confers all the purusarthas. This stotras especially is hightly pleasing to Sri Devi

The devotee of Lalita should always with effort repeat this. After the morning bath he should perform the worshp Sri Cakra. Then he should repeat the Vidya a thousand times, or three hundred or one hunderd times at least.

Then again he should repeat this secret Sahasranama. The Wise one who repeats it at least once in his life time attains the following results.

Listen thou, O Pot-born one! I will declare to thee the results of such a virtue of repeating this names. Bathing in Ganga and all othe holy waters numberless time.

Instituting crores of Lingas in the Avimukta, giving away in charities crores of candles of go to learned dvijas during the solar eclipse; performing innumerable horses sacrfices on the banks of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place>Ganga</st1:place>.

Digging a number of wells in arid tracts, feeding brahmanas by crores in times of dearth and famine daily.

All these being done in supreme faith regularly for a thousand years, the resulting punya multiplied times without numbers equals it.

The supreme punya which results from a repetition of a single name of the secret Sahasranama. The accumulated sins, of him who repeats at least a single name of this secret Sahasranama, are all destroyed. There is no doubt in this.

All sins of omission of prescribed daily duties and commission of prohibited actions, are surely destroyed. Why describe in so many words? Listen, O Pot-Born one:

No person, in all the fourteen worlds, is capable of committing a sin which cannot be removed by a single name in this Sahasranama which is the antidote of all sins

He who desires to cleanse himself of all sins by any other means than this Sahasranama is like one who, to get rid of cold, goes to the Himalaya mountains.

If the devotee repeats this Sahasranama daily, Lalitha is pleased and confers on him the desired objects.

How can one who does not repeat this hymn be called a devotee? If he is unable to repeat it daily, let him do so on auspicious days at least.

On Samkranti day, during the summer and winter solstices, on the three birthdays, in the Ayanas, on Navami ( 9th or 14th day of the bright fortnight ), and on Fridays.

This Sahasranama should be repeated especially on the Paurnamasi ( the full moon ) day, meditating on mother Lalitha as seated in the disc of the Moon.

And worshipping her with five kinds of upacaras one should repeat this Sahasranama. Such a person gets all his diseases destroyed and obtains a long lease of life.

This process is called the Ayuskara (tending to increase the length of life) prayoga and is mentioned in the Kalpas.

By touching with the palm of the head of a feverish person, reciting this Sahasranama, fever and headache are immediately alleviated.

By the external application of ashes potentised with this Sahasranama for healing purposes, all disease are immediately cured.

O Muni! Potentised a pot-full of water with this Sahasranama and pour it on the head of a person who is possessed, and the graha ( elemental) will at once leave that person.

By mediating on Mother Lalitha as seated in the midst of the nectar-ocean, and repeating this Sahasranama, poison (if taken in) can be digested (and assimilated).

By taking butter Potentised with this Sahasranama barren woman will surely beget children.

At night meditating on Devi, as binding the desired woman by the noose and drawing her by the elephant hook, if one recites the Sahasranama, she comes to his side, even if confined in a harem.

To conquer a king, one should turn to the side in which he (the king) lives and repeat this Sahasranama for three nights, fully devoted to the worship of Devi.

And the King losing his independent sprit, rides a horse or an elephant would go to him (the devotee) before whom he prostrates like a servant.

The King being thus controlled offers him his kingdom and treasury.

By a mere gaze at the face of him who repeats daily this secret Sahasranama, the three worlds get bewitched.

Enemies of him, who repeats this Sahasranama with devotion once (at least) are killed by Sarabhesvara. Any black (magical) act practiced against the repeater of this Sahasranama (is ineffectual but) is made by Pratyangiras to rebound upon the performer of the act and kill him (instead)

Him, that looks upon the repeater of this Sahasranama, with a cruel eye, soon does Martanda-Bhairava make blind.

The robber, who dispossesses the repeater of this Sahasranama, of his property, is, wherever he conceals himself, killed by Ksetrapala.

The learned man, who dares discuss or argue about the Vidyas with him, who devotes himself to the chanting of this Sahasranama, is at once made dumb (held spell-bound) by Nakulesvari.

When a king makes war with the devotee of this Sahasranama, Dandini herself destroys all his army.

If one chants this with devotion continuously for six months, the goddess of wealth will reside permanently in his house.

If one reads this Sahasranama once a month (at least) or daily (if he can), or (still better) thrice a day (if possible), the goddess of speech will keep dancing forever on the tip of his tongue.

By reading this Sahasranama without laziness for a fortnight, a woman can be seduced by a mere glance.

Persons accidentally coming in contact with him, who has read this even once in his life-time, are freed from sins.

The twice-born man who knows this Sahasranama should be offered food, cloth, money and paddy, and never to any one else.

For, the wise-recognize him to be the fit (recipient) guest who knows the Pancadasi, who worships the Sri Cakra, and who chants this Sahasranama.

Hence to him and to him alone one should with effort offer presents, if he wants to please Devi.

He who does not repeat the Sahasranama, nor knows the Pancadasi, is like unto a beast; a presents made to him are useless. Hence the learned should test the knowledge (of the recipient) and offer him any presents.

Just as there is no mantra to match with the SriVidya, no deity to equal Lalitha, so also, O Pot-Born one, there is not hymn equal to this Sahasranama.

With him who writes out this supreme Sahasranama in a book and worships it with devotion, Sundari will be pleased.

Why so many words? Listen thou, O Pot-Born one, in all the Tantras there is no hymn to be found with is equal to this.

Therefore should the devotee repeat this with full devotion. The good results accruing from the worship of the SriCakra done once with the lotus, Tulsi flower, Kalhara, Kadamba, Campaka and Jati flowers, with Mallika, Karavira, Utpala, Bilvapatra, Kunda, Kesara, Patala and other fragrant flowers such as Ketaki and Madhavi, accompanied with the chanting of these names - the results of such a worship are indescribable even by Mahesvara. It is only Lalitha who can realize (the greatness of) the results of worshipping Her (Sri) Cakra.

How can Brahma and other gods who have a limited knowledge know it? He who worships the supreme Devata in the Sricakra with these names on the night of the full moon day in every month, himself becomes (one with) Lalitha and Lalitha with him.

There is no difference between them both (Lalitha and the devotee), and to draw any distinction between them is to sin. If a devotee worship Sri Devi on the Mahanavami day with these thousand names locating her in the Sricakra, his salvation is in his hands.

Listen thou!! To know the result of worshiping the great Devi with this Sahasranama in the Sri Cakra on Fridays. All desires in this world are fulfilled; he is attended with all prosperity and is blessed with sons and grandsons. And after enjoying all the desired objects he is sure to attain at the end the state of Lalita-sayujya, which is hard to reach and which is also coveted by Siva and others.

With him, who with devotion entertains, repeating this Sahasranama, a thousand Brahmanas with food consisting of Payasa, Apupa and six kinds of Rasas - with such a person Lalitha is pleased and gives him salvation (samrajya)

If a person chants this supreme hymn without hoping for any (specific and selfish) result, there is nothing in all the three worlds which is unattainable by him. He gains brahma-jnana (knowledge of Brahman) by which he will be freed (from all misery). He that longs for wealth will get wealth; he that courts fame will get fame.

He who is anxious of learning (knowledge) becomes learned by chanting this Sahasranama. O Muni, there is no other hymn equal to this in merit which confers both worldly attainments and salvation at the same time.

This should therefore be repeated by persons desiring both worldly enjoyment and salvation, also by those who are in (any of) the four ashrams.

To make up for the imperfect performance of dharma in this Kali age which is noted for the prevalence of sin and delinquency on the part of people in doing their duty, there is no protective mantra except the repetition of this Sahasranama.

To a thousand names of Vishnu a single name of Siva is preferred. To a thousand names of Siva, one single name of Devi is preferred.

There are Crores of sets of thousand names to Devi, O Pot-born one. Of these, ten sets of thousands are the best.

And of those ten sets of names (each of thousand), this holy one is the best. Therefore it should be repeated daily to ward off the sins of the Kali Age.

The ignorant do not recognize these hymns of Devi as the best. Some devote themselves to the names of Vishnu and others to those of Siva.

Rarely one in this world is devoted to the names of Lalitha. It is by repeating the names of other deities in Crores of births, that faith is generated to repeat the names of Sri Devi.

Just as it is in the last of all his births that a person devotes himself to SriVidya, so it is that the repetition of this Sahasranama is taken up by him whose (present) birth is the last (or who is to have no more births).

As there are only a few who know the method of Sricakra worship, even so there are only a few who chant this Sahasranama.

The practice of SriVidya, the worship of Sricakra and the repetition of this holy Sahasranama are not attainable by a slight penance.

He that wishes to please the great Isvari without chanting this Sahasranama, is like one, who is confounded and wants to see objects without eyes.

He who aims at attaining siddhis except by means of this Sahasranama is indeed like who tries to satisfy hunger without taking food.

The devotee of Lalitha should always repeat this; and in no other way can Devi be pleased, even for Crores of years to come. .Therefore should one chant this secret Sahasranama of the holy mother with devotion.

Thus, O Pot-born One!! is this secret hymn declared to you. You should not impart this to one who is not initiated into the SriVidya or to one who is not a devotee.

Just as SriVidya is to be kept secret, so also, O Muni, this Sahasranama, should be kept concealed from the eyes of the uninitiated. This holy hymn ought not to be promulgated among those whose nature resembles that of beasts.

If a person so loses his wits as to impart this to one who is not initiated into SriVidya, the Yoginis curse him and it is a source of great loss to him.

Therefore should this Sahasranama be kept concealed. Even to thee, O Pot-born One!! I did not declare it of my own accord.

It is by the command of Lalitha that this holy hymns is declared to thee. Therefore, O Pot-born One!! do thou chant this always with devotion.

Thus pleased, the great Devi will grant thee all desired objects.

Suta said : Having thus instructed Agastya, Hayagriva meditated on Mother Lalitha and got himself merged into the bliss, when his hair stood on end.

  15.

Can anyone help me how to pronounce the following verse from Upanishads?

    Om Asato maa sad-gamaya;

    tamaso maa jyotir-ga-maya;

    mrtyor-maa amrutam gamaya.

    Om Shaantih Shaantih Shaantih.

I have devoted these two pages (see my signature) for pronouncing Sanskrit in Sanskrit. Please study, i hope you find your way.

  16. When nobody answers, I know that the pure truth has been said; when that truth is not allowed to be published, I know it has power to heal the world. Now hear what the ancients said: (in Atharwa-weda):

    1. Whenever yonder person in his thought, and with his speech, offers sacrifice accompanied by oblations and benedictions, may Nirriti (the goddess of destruction), allying herself with death, smite his offering before it takes effect!

    2. May sorcerers, Nirriti, as well as Rakshas, mar his true work with error! May the gods, despatched by Indra, scatter (churn) his sacrificial butter; may that which yonder person

    offers not succeed!

    3. The two agile supreme rulers, like two eagles pouncing down, shall strike the sacrificial butter of the enemy, whosoever plans evil against us!

    4. Back do I tie both thy two arms, thy mouth I shut. With the fury of god Agni, have I destroyed thy oblation.

    5. I tie thy two arms, I shut thy mouth. With the fury of terrible Agni have I destroyed thy oblation.

What is understood from such a text is that there is no point to waste time in worship by thought, speech, or action. The only meaningful thing is to collaborate with those sorcerers who rule the whole world by cancelling all others’ worship.

  19. Basically everything that appears on the t.v. screen is trash, why do you watch it? I cannot be labelled of a specific religion, but since long i have observed that the 10 commandments plus the 2 most important commandmens given by Jesus are connected to the signs of the zodiac, the first (I am your God) is of Aries, sign of identity, the 2nd (make no idol) is connected to Taurus, the sign of form, the 3rd (take not God's name in vain) is of Gemini, the sign of speech, the 4th is of Cancer, who finds trouble to relax, the 5th is of Leo who tends to disrespect his parents, the 6th is of Virgo, the sign of destruction, the 7th is of Libra, the sign of marriage, the 8th is of Scorpio, the sign of breaking laws, the 9th is of Sagittarius, the truth seeking, the 10th is of Capricorn, the sign of ambition, the 11th given by Jesus is love your God by all your might, corresponds to Aquarius: the sign of discovery, and the 12th also given by Jesus is love the people close to you as you love yourself, this is of Pisces, the sign of devotion.

  20. You had me taking you serious - then that. :eek2:
I hurt your feelings. So you say i m not serious because i talked about meat sacrifice. The vast majority of people in the modern world are irreligious meat eaters. Actually i do not know even 1 pure vegetarian in my country. If you can persuade all those people to go vegetarian, please do so. It would be much more practicable to persuade them sacrifice meat before eating it; this presupposes believing in God. Do you think Krsna was vegetarian? he was a ksatriya, so he hunted on his own and with his friend Arjuna, to bring animals for sacrifice. It was a different time then, plenty of animals, less people... Yet Krsna caused countless people to die, and even brought the destruction of his own dynasty, to relieve earth from human overpopulation. If you still think i m not serious, o.k., have a good cheer. I do not need to change your mind, i love vegetarians, still we must live in the real world! Buddha died because he ate pork, while Mithridatees the king could not be killed by poison because he made himself gradually tolerant to poisons. Raw diet is wonderfully good, i have tried it, it works wonders (it has side effects though: you get easily angry with people because they are different, and others curse you because of envy). I do not advocate any extremes, because every extreme leads normally to the opposite side. As old horse-shoe makers did, i hammer alternatingly both on the nail and on the horse-shoe. This is the only way to nail a horse-shoe. If i m still not serious, o.k., have a good cheer.
  21.

    >> Sometimes a little dirty food is good, for if you r too clean you may find trouble coping with this world

sorry, i do not agree with this theory

You may be right; i would like to know your own theory. When we are offered impure food, should we accept it as Buddha did, or what should we do? When i eat together with people who eat meat and taamasik food, it does not help me if i avoid their impure food; i pay for their bad karma when i choose to eat different things than what they eat.
  22. The point is to eat saattwik food. Raw fresh food is saattwik and detoxifying; that wonderful feeling which others try to get using drugs and such things, is achieved just by one or a few days of raw diet. but it is also good to cook food in order to get rid of dangerous germs etc, also mild cooking is good in order to make the food energy warmer. Raw food can be dangerous when it has a cold energy, once i ate raw green soy beans and suffered the worst diarrhea of my life. A little simmering and few grains of salt would make green soy beans fine and safe. Simmered bean sprouts are great too. Most beans are revolting when raw. The most important is to avoid all fried food because it is taamasik, especially fried onions and the like, all taamasik people are addicted to fried onion, if there is no fried onion and no fried oil, they say "this is no food". Oil, like honey, is nectar when raw, but a poison when cooked. Sometimes a little dirty food is good, for if you r too clean you may find trouble coping with this world. Still fried food is an extreme of tamas! to hell with fried food! cooking should be basically simmering, or moderately baking without oil. Grilling (with no added oil) on charcoal makes juices leak and get burnt before you eat the food, so it really has the effect of agnihotra (fire sacrifice), and even meat cooked this way on proper days cannot do harm, because is has been sacrificed before eating it.

  23. NAMAS TE. You make me blush. Sure we are all cells of God's body, but i m one of the weakest people. There is hardly anyone weaker than me and hardly anyone more stupid. Because i talk about the fruit, but i m fruitless. By the way, "unknown" is acñaata or acn.aata (according to my transliteration) or ajJAta (according to the Kyoto - Harvard system). There is no point talking too much about the mango leaves and trunk and root; if you r wise, take and eat fruit instead of talking about them.
