'Avyakta' means 'unmanifest' in Sanskrit.

How can a human being know that something unmanifest exists? How can one know the unmanifest?

Hi, I am writing a paper on the Krishnas, because I think it is a very interesting and intriguing religion. But I am a bit confused because I don't know that much about it. Would anyone mind explaining to me who it is that you worship and what writings you read? I would not use your name and I would put everything into my own words. In my opinion 4 yugas last 12800 years, each yuga 3200 years, and 23500 b.C. (approximately) was the year when Qain killed his brother Abel, so starting a generation of evil people who are most powerful during kaliyuga. How did i find my number 3200 and the other numbers? Just by observing an important change in human history every 3200 years.

Perhaps your opinion is better. Please explain how your number 25850 has been found, and how do you know that the year 2012 is so important. Is it because the planet Venus is going to pass in front of the Sun? Or some other reason too?

By the way, every religion has a devil as the supreme ruler of powers of evil and darkness. So there is devil in Christian faith, Ariman in old Persian faith, Seytan in Islam, and so on. Would someone be kind enough to explain what is the Hindu form of devil? and what is the form of devil in Sikh, Buddhist, and Jain religions?

Christians are Vaisnavaas. They believe that God has incarnated as Jesus Christ, and the three persons of the trinity are God as personality, as lord of the Universe, and as the spirit dwelling in everybody; i can see no essential difference to Vaisnava faith as expounded by Shriila Prabhupada. If we accept Krsna as God, then why not Christ as well?

Don't stick to names! all those who worship God should unite, and all those who worship the devil should be kept out.

The turkic languages are very concise. i cannot remember the exact words now, a turkish proverb says:

"THE SAGE DID NOT FLY, HIS DISCIPLE MADE HIM FLY".

All indian religions have mantras for obtaining the siddhi of knowlegde, i have elsewhere started a thread to collect such mantras and yantras, but nobody has contributed. Pity. Knowledge of truth only could make people unite.

Yes I Know Some People Reject Parts Of The Veda, Or Most Of The Veda, But I Know Nobody Who Can Be Against The Saavitrii. Everyone Can Use It, Even Materialists And Atheists, Taking Matter As The Creator God. So Using That, All People Can Unite. 1. Why are there '+' signs in the text between sanskrit words. For example in the following line

सेन्द्रा देव-गणा मुनि+ईश्वर-जना लोकाः सपालाः सदा

there is a + symbol between मुनि and ईश्वर. I would like to know whether that was a mistake on your part or not. If it is not a mistake, please explain why it is used.

You seem very young, asking questions whereof the answer is evident.

Body fasting is abstaining from food, mind fasting is refraining from asking questions; in this way you acquire the siddhi of finding the answer yourself.

Just as "asteya-prati,sthaayaam sarwa-ratna+upasthaanam".

The + obviously means that the 2 vowels have to be joined by the rules of sandhi, e.g.

A+I=E, A+A=AA (long A) and so on. The )) of course marks the end of each shloka, and the

number is the number of every shloka.

A certain sign was used to refer to an alternative reading, there are some alternative readings in some lines.

Why not copy the whole file in your computer, and there make any changes and

substitutions you like? The puraanam is written in easy sanskrit, so for a person who

knows sanskrit, it is easy to read as it is. Sorry, i have not got the luck to know

sanskrit well, i know only a little so as to get the main points. Somebody wrote in the forum

that the puraanam is also availlable scanned in the "Digital Library of India".

Do aim for "vacana siddhi", the siddhi of knowing every answer. Hindu tradition has given

many means to acquire the siddhi of knowing the answer to everything.

Lord Hanuman has never seen defeat in his life. And he never left his mortal body as did Lord Krishna or Rama.

Another very good and sure way to over come is do Hanuman sadhna!

such weaknesses cannot stand in front of Lord Hanuman.

I would like to know something more about Lord Hanumaan. Is he an incarnation of Visnu, or what? Why is Hanumaan sadhana preferred to Lord Raama's or some other deity's? I suggest you give a Hanumaan mantra that best suits such a mental problem.

Aaditya hrdayam is said to be very powerful in healing psychological problems.

Of course, the SAAVITRII gaayatrii is a panacea, a cure for every disease.

But Jaaina mantras (i have tried some) do not seem to work, because they are not in sanskrit, they are in prakrt.

Sure, a problem created in lifetimes is not likely to be solved within a day, but still i think the root cause is HIDING. So i think the best exercise is to try to SHOW, instead of trying to HIDE.

Also i think that refraining from questioning is very helpful, because i had some nervousness too which i overcome when i stop asking questions to people or oracles.
