  1.

then why most hindus worship other demi-gods?

People worship demi-gods for some resut, but actually the result is given by Krishna. If he doesn't want to, you don't get the result.

Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. And so we should always worship him and maintain his commands he gave in " The Bhagabad-Gita"

We should take his holy name...

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare

Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare

    Hare Krishna:pray:

I've also heard that your sleeping postion is reflective of the "goorn" or mode you are in:

Goodness - sleeping on your back

Ignorance - sleeping on your front

lust/passion - sleeping on your side

Has anyone else heard this before????

    Hariiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiibol

Yes...I have heard too....something like this---

We should sleep on our left side which is good,...and on our back is bad,...and sleeping on our right side is normal.

Don't know... this true or not!!!

    If anyone know about this...explain:P

Bholaji finds himself in dire trouble. His business has gone bust and he's in serious financial trouble. He's so desperate that he decides to ask Ganesh for help. He goes into the temple and begins to pray.

“Oh Ganesh, please help me, I've lost my business and if I don't get some money, I'm going to lose my house as well. Please let me win the lottery.”

Lotto night comes and somebody else wins it. Bholaji goes back to the temple. "Ganesh please let me win the lotto. I've lost my business, my house and I'm going to lose my car as well.”Lotto night comes and Bholaji still has no luck. Back to the temple he goes. "My Ganesh, why have you forsaken me? I've lost my business, my house, my car and my wife and children are starving. I don't often ask you for help and I have always been a good servant to you. Why won't you just let me win the lotto this one time so I can get my life back in order?"

Suddenly there is a blinding flash of light as the sky parts open and Bholaji is confronted by the voice of God: "Bholaji, buy a lottery ticket first."

    Nice!!!:)

Just as Sanjaya had divine vision, and was narrting BG and the happenings of the battlefield to Dhritharastra, though they were in Hastinapura, in the same way Vyaas knew everything. In fact Vyaas is none other than an Amsha Avatara of Visnu Himself!! The way i heard it (have not read facts specifically) is that Vyaas narrated MB to Sri Ganesha before the events happened.

BG is not separate from MB - it is part of the stiory, in the Bhishma Parva (chapter). But its contents are so different from the context of the rest of MB in spiritual nature that it was treeated as a separate text ubto its own right. Also, Krsna confirms he spoke BG to the Sun God many aeons ago so it is indeed like a diamond set into a golden crown - i piece of jewellery in its own right.

    Thank-you Gaea Prabhuji:)

    Hare Krishna:pray:

    Hare Krishna.

Lord Krishna and Arjuna were speaking the Bhagavad-gita As It Is, Vedya-vyasa hearing this and at the same time recited to Ganapati who wrote it down (Bhagavad-gita is within the Mahabharata).

How did Vedya-vyasa heard the conversation between Lord Krishna and Arjuna?

Isn't Lord Krishna was saying it only to Arjuna?

Bhagabad-Gita is inside the Mahabharata-----so how did it separate?

    Please///......explain!!!
