Hare Krishna. For millions of years humans have been worshipping God in diety form. It's only in the past 2000 years that man made religions have banned image worshipping. As these religions are created by man and not God. They canno understand God. The Greeks, Romans, Chinese, Egyptians, and others all worshipped God in image form. The followers of the Vedic religion have also worshipped God in diety form for millions of years and it's God who has been creating the image worshippers at his will.

Hindu scriptures - meat allowed or conversion technique
kcp1982 replied to sunindia22's topic in Spiritual Discussions
Does God Want Man to Eat Meat? When discussing the topic of killing (meat eating) with Christians and Muslims. They ultimately justify killing animals for food by pointing to their scriptures. Thus the main reason why man kills for a living (meat eating) is religion. The Bible and Koran both state that animals are food. They both claim that their scripture is the word of God and thus there is absolutely nothing wrong in killing innocent animals. This raises the question would God want man to eat meat? This question can be answered by looking at the health, economic, and violence issues. 1. Health Is meat good for us? It’s a scientific fact that vegetarians are healthier than meat eaters. Scientific studies show that vegetarians have a much lower risk of suffering from diseases like cancer, heart disease, high blood pressure and other health disorders compared to meat eaters. Scientific Studies Support a Vegetarian Diet A major study reported in the British Medical Journal found that, of 5000 meat-eaters and 6000 non-meat eaters, vegetarians had 40% less risk of cancer and 30% less risk of heart disease than the meat-eaters and were 20% less likely to die of any cause (Oxford Vegetarian Study). A US study of 50,000 vegetarians showed a very low rate of cancer (Seventh Day Adventist Study, Massachusetts). It has been estimated that by following a low-fat vegetarian diet, the risk of food poisoning is decreased by 80%. A balanced vegetarian diet is better for humans than one that includes meat (from TIME magazine, July 2002). An 11-year study of 1,900 German vegetarians has found mortality from cardiovascular disease to be 61% lower in male vegetarians and 44% lower in female vegetarians than the general population. Hypertension can contribute to heart disease, strokes, and kidney failure. A number of studies have shown vegetarians to have lower blood pressure than meat eaters (Sacks 1974, Armstrong 1977). The British Medical Association (1986) stated that vegetarians have lower rates of obesity than meat eaters. Vegetarians have lower rates of colon cancer than meat eaters (Phillips 1980). There is overwhelming scientific evidence to prove that a vegetarian diet is much more healthier than a meat based diet. Eating meat can seriously damage your health. What about Protein? Most people are brainwashed into thinking that meat is the only source of protein. The simple fact is that there is plenty of protein in a vegetarian diet too. Would God want man to eat food that will increase the chances of suffering from major diseases, reduce the quality of life, and reduce the life span? Absolutely not. Would you want your children to eat food that is not good for them? No? Similarly God doesn’t want his children, you and me, to eat food that is bad for our health. 2. Economic Does it make economic sense to raise animals for food? It takes at least 17 kg of corn, beans, grains etc., many gallons of water, and some time to produce just 1 kg of beef. This is like investing $17 in a bank term deposit and withdrawing $1 at maturity. The 17 kg of corn, beans, and grains would feed at least 20 people while the 1 kg of beef would feed at most 2 people. Does it makes any sense to feed an animal 17 kg of vegetation, many gallons of water, provide shelter, allow some time, and then cut it’s throat and kill it to produce 1 kg of meat? Would it be better just to take the 17 kg of vegetation and feed on it directly rather than having it go through an animal and then feeding on the animal a much reduced quantity of food? The reason why somewhere in the World a child dies of starvation every two seconds is because of slaughterhouse mentality as described above. If the millions of acres of land, which is used to grow food for animals, were used to grow food for humans directly then there would be at least 10 times more food than currently. Thus there would be no poverty in the World. About 70% of the crops grown in the US are fed to animals and not to humans. The mentality is that convert 17 kg of vegetarian food into 1 kg of meat so that at most 2 people can eat instead of at least 20. Also there is the thrill of killing the animals, which is very much liked by the followers of the non-Vedic religions. If everyone in the world became a vegetarian, there would be no such thing as poverty. But unfortunately the majority of the humans simply can’t give up the thrill of killing innocent animals and so the children will have to continue dying due to starvation at the rate of 2 every seconds. Would God want man to turn 17 kg of vegetarian food into1 kg of non-vegetarian food (meat). Absolutely not. 3. Violence Is violence related to meat eating? What do all the terrorists have in common? What do all the violent criminals have in common? What do all the murderers have in common? The simple answer is that they are all killers of animals (meat eaters). Have you heard of vegetarian terrorists? Have you heard of vegetarian criminals? Have you heard of vegetarian murderers? The over whelming majority of the violent people in the World are meat eaters and not vegetarians. How does meat eating make one violent? By killing for a living (meat eating), the human mind develops a taste for killing, which leads to a mentality of violence. The mentality of killing animals spreads to killing humans too. People who kill animals are much more likely to kill people too. This is a fact as the terrorists, and the most violent criminals are animal killers (meat eaters). The vegetarians don’t kill for a living (no meat) and so their mind develops a taste for non-violence, thus a mentality of non-violence. The mentality of a vegetarian is that killing is totally wrong, thus the killing or even injuring of humans is totally unthinkable. The US government spends billions of dollars each year on combating terrorism. They think by going after those with guns and bombs will solve the problem. They totally ignore the root cause of violence. Which is human mentality of violence, caused by killing for a living (meat eating). The simple formula for stopping terrorism and violence in the world is: No Meat= No killing = No mentality of violence = No terrorism/No violence What about killing the plants? There is a big difference between cutting grass and cutting the necks of chickens. Killing plants and animals is not the same. Would God want man to kill for a living (meat eating) so that they can develop a mentality of violence and become killers of humans too? Absolutely not. Why is the Cow Sacred to the Hindus? The human mother drinks cows milk, and from it produces her milk, which we humans drink at birth. Then at 3 months we start drinking cows milk in a bottle then in cups. We also eat delicious foods made from cows’ milk. Foods like ice cream, yogurt, cheese, and curd. From our birth to our death we rely on cows milk. Thus the cow is considered a mother as she provides us with nourishing food for life. How can you kill such a mother? Every time you eat pizza, ice cream, yogurt, and other foods made from cow’s milk, you should be very great full to the cow. How can you kill a mother that provides nourishing food to you for life? The cow is also the favorite animal of God, Lord Krishna. Why? Since the cow provides nourshing food to Lord Krishna’s children, you and me. Lord Krishna is very much greateful to her. Would you be greateful to someone who feeds your children, or would you order them to be killed and eaten? Lord Caitanya, who was an incarnation of Lord Krishna states in the Caitanya Caritamrta, Adi-lila chapter 17, verses.165-167. “Cow-killers are condemned to rot in hellish life for as many thousands of years as there are hairs on the body of the cow.” -

In march 2001 when the Taliban destroyed the Dieties of Lord Buddha, I was praying that Lord Buddha takes revenge on the barbaric Taliban. My prayers were answered. By Nov 2001, nearly all the Taliban were destroyed in the same way they destroyed the Lord Buddha dieties. Blown out of caves. It was George Bush who ordered the Taliban to be destroyed. All glories to him. Lord Buddha used George Bush as an instrument to destroy the Taliban. He will continue to use him as an instrument to destroy all the evil terrorists of the world. All glories to him.

Hindusim Must Have Missionaries on their own
kcp1982 replied to sefroth77's topic in The Hinduism Forum
Most Hindus don't know the beauty and absolute truth about Hinduism, the only religion where God is actually known. In the other religions it's all specualtion. www.Gitamrta.org is a site which is preaching the message of the Bhagavad-gita. The only site where you can listen to the 700 verses of the Bhagavad-gita in 6 languages with one click, free. The only site where you can quickley learn about the differences between Hinduism and the non-sense religions. -
Just chant hare krishna and always think of krishna. The demons will run.

What are the Essential Beliefs of Hinduism?
kcp1982 replied to imranhasan's topic in Spiritual Discussions
Beliefs and Facts of Hinduism 1. Hinduism is the oldest religion in the world, dating back to millions of years. 2. Hinduism is the most peace-loving Religion of all. This can be proven by the fact that Hindustan (The Land of the Hindus) or India has never attacked or invaded another nation. The Hindus have never stolen land belonging to others. The other religions certainly cannot say the same. 3. The Hindus have the richest culture of all. 4. The Hindu scriptures are the oldest known to man. There main scripture of Hinduism is the The Bhagavad-Gita. The Bhagavad-Gita is the only word of God in Person. It is the conversation between a man called Arjun and God himself in the human form, Lord Krishna. 5. Hinduism preaches that there is only ONE god, who has many different manifestations. Hinduism is the only religion based on following a God who was actually seen by millions of people in the past and who will be seen again by millions in the future. God appeared as Lord Ram about 2 million years ago, as Lord Krishna 5000 years, as Lord Buddha 2500 years ago, and will appear again as Lord Kalki in 427,000 years time. 6. Hinduism is the only religion, which clearly states that there is life on other Planets, and actually gives description of life and the names of other Planets with living beings. This information can be found in the Shrimad Bhagavatam. 7. Hinduism preaches that the universe undergoes endless cycles of creation, preservation and dissolution. There are four ages (Yugas): Satya Yuga: The age of the truth and true religion. The yuga lasts 1.728 million years. Treta Yuga: The introduction of ignorance takes place in this age. The yuga lasts 1.296 million years. Dvapara Yuga: Increased decline in the truth and religious values takes effect in this age. The yuga lasts 864,000 years. Kali Yuga: The age of irreligion and ignorance. The truth being virtually non-existent. The yuga lasts 432,000 years. We are now 5000 years into the Kali Yuga, after another 427,000 years. The Satya Yuga will start, and true religion (Hinduism) will once again be the only religion of the world. 8. Hindus believe in the law of Karma. Karma is the Law of action and reaction. For every action we take, we face a reaction in the future. Do good today, and tomorrow will be good day. Do bad today, and tomorrow will be a bad day. Nothing happens by chance or luck. Everything happens according to our karma. The Law of Karma 9. Hindus believe in Reincarnation. The soul passes from one body to the next. We never die we just keep changing bodies. What you will be in your next life will depend on your karmic actions taken in this and previous lives. The Reality of Reincarnation 10. Hinduism preaches that God is present in the heart of every living being, including animals, as the super soul, accompanying the individual soul. 11. Hinduism is the only religion, which preaches vegetarianism. All life is sacred, to be loved and revered, and therefore practice non-injury. The action of killing and eating animals is very bad karma and will have equal opposite reactions in proportion. Due to the law of Karma, if you kill and eat animals now, you will be killed and eaten in the future. You will be treated the same way you treat others, including animals. Must We Kill In Order To Live? 12. The oldest and most systematic language in the World is a Hindu language, Sanskrit. 13. Hinduism preaches that all living beings have a soul. The only religion, which preaches that animals too have a soul. 14. The Worlds first University was established by the Hindus in Takshila (India) in 700 B.C. It had more than 10,000 students from all over the World studying more than 60 subjects. 15. Ayurveda is the oldest medical science. 16. The most intellectual game of all, Chess. Was invented by the Hindus. 17. Martial Arts and Meditation originate from the Hindus. -

Hare Krishna. Don't worry about being initiated or not. That makes no difference. If you are a ISKCON life member than it's free for 3 days to stay in a ISKCON guest house. Otherwise you can stay and just pay. The ISKCON guest house is the best place to stay as there will be other western and non-western devotees you will feel at home with. My wife and young kids stayed in Maypur and Vrindavan guest houses in July 2005 and they loved it. The main point is that don't eat food off the street vendors or drink water from the tap. Only bottled water.

Hare Krishna. It's because of so many non-sense preachers in the Vedic religion that sanatan dharma is trailing behind and so many Hindus are being fooled into converting to man made godless religions. These bogus Vedic preachers are also on this site. They say all religions lead to the same path and so on. What non-sense. The conclusion of the Bhagavad-gita is very clear. "Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reaction. Do not fear. " Lord Krishna (Bg 18.66) Lord Krishna doesn't say follow any path, only his path. There are articles on the www.Gitamrta.org which very easily defeat the philosophy of all the other godless religions. All the serious preachers should read and spread this to others. Articles like: Are all religions the same? Does God want man to eat meat? There is only one God Why Lord Krishna is the only God Questions from a Muslim/Christian, answers from a Hindu and so on. Reincarnation and Karma are scientific facts. The Genesis preaching of Adam and Eve being the first humans is complete non-sonse according to the evidence of humans existing for millions of years. The non-Vedic religions are godless religions as they do not know who is God.

Hare Krishna. The main thing is the food and water. Only drink bottled water and don't eat food sold on the streets. It's very tasty but your stomach is not used to it so it will reject it. There are plenty of places to stay in Vrandavan, but best to get advice from someone at the ISKCON temple. The taxi drivers and others are generally looters, so be very careful. Overall it will be a great experience, but there is plenty of poverty. But don't lament, it's due to karma that people suffer or enjoy. Good luck.

Hare Krishna. I just bought and watched this DVD. It's very good and would advise all to see it. It shows various spiritual places like Mayapur, Haridwar, Jaipur, Hrishikesh, Gangotri... Visit www.gangamovie.com I am myself making a Bhagavad-Gita DVD which will be available in June 2006.

Bollywood Is Demonic Please read this and spread the message to others. Most Bollywood Movies are filled with lusty and materialist scenes. These lusty and demonic scenes do not represent India, it’s culture or religion. The aim of most Bollywood movies is simply to destroy morality and India. Please don’t support this rape on morality and righteousness by watching such movies. If you want to keep your righteousness values, avoid Bollywood movies. Until around the late 70’s, Bollywood movies were ok, but now they have simply become stupid, silly, and demonic. 1. Excessive immoral values are portrayed in most Bollywood movies. 2. Sexy dance and music scenes. 3. Portraying Materialism and Modern (western) culture as the goal. 4. Getting away from Indian/Hindu culture and tradition. 5. Depicting sexual lust. For your information: 1.Bollywood movies show nothing but violence, sex and immoral values. Lust, Greed and Anger are the three gates to hell. Materialism turns an intelligent person into one of total ignorance. 2. Sexy dance and music scenes turn one into a materialist person with total ignorance to the truth. 3. What is Modern culture? Partying, sexy dancing, eating meat, drinking alcohol, having relationships before marriage, having relationships after marriage, having no respect for the elders and no responsibility for ones actions. Enjoy today and forget about tomorrow, as though there is no tomorrow. 4. Hindu culture is the richest and most peaceful of all cultures, people watching Bollywood movies truly believe that they portray Hindu values, this is completely false. Bollywood movies are nothing but anti-Hindu. But foreigners don’t know this, as these demonic movies originate from Hindustan and thus the Hindus. The makers of Bollywood movies are taking part in destroying India, it’s culture and it’s true identity. 5. Love marriages are nothing but marriages based on lust. The fact is that most love marriages end in a divorce. While most arranged marriages are successful, the alternative to love marriages. The Qualities of Demonic People "Pride, arrogance, conceit, anger, harshness and ignorance-these qualities belong to those of demoniac nature, O son of Påthä." Lord Krishna to Arjuna (Bg. 16.4) Materialism carries away the Righteousness qualities in a person. Modern lifestyles (partying, sexual lust, lust for material objects, greed, ego, desires, relationships), western culture and Bollywood culture, western pop music and Indian pop music turn a person of intelligence into a person of ignorance. Materialism slowly and unknowingly drains away the righteousness qualities in a person. "As a strong wind sweeps away a boat on the water, even one of the roaming senses on which the mind focuses can carry away a man's intelligence." Lord Krishna (Bg. 2.67) "While contemplating the objects of the senses, a person develops attachment for them, and from such attachment lust develops, and from lust anger arises. From anger, complete delusion arises, and from delusion bewilderment of memory. When memory is bewildered, intelligence is lost, and when intelligence is lost one falls down again into the material pool." Lord Krishna (Bg. 2.62-63) What causes one to engage in sinful acts? "Arjuna said: by what is one impelled to sinful acts, even unwillingly, as if engaged by force? Lord Krishna said: It is lust only, Arjuna, which is born of contact with the material mode of passion and later transformed into wrath, and which is the all-devouring sinful enemy of this world." (Bg. 3.36-37) The Three Gates to Hell "There are three gates leading to hell. Lust, anger, and greed. Every sane man should give these up, for they lead to the degradation of the soul." Lord Krishna (Bg. 16.21) Alternatives to the Demonic Bollywood Movies and Serials Everyone needs some entertainment; simply give up demonic Bollywood for devotional CDs and DVDs. Here are some recommendations: - Chopra’s Mahabharat DVDs, just search on the Internet. There are many vendors. Hare Krishna. It's a fact that with every new sect, sanatan dharma becomes diluted and that's why it's a minority religion in the world now. When you pour water in milk, the milk slowly disappears. The more water you add, the more diluted the milk becomes. That's what's happening to sanatan dharma. It's because of so many bogus Gurus that Bharat Varsha which once ruled the whole world is now a tiny place called India. This is also diminishing. Sanatan dharma is based on the Vedic scriptures which are eternal and not any recent man made scriptures. The Vedic scriptures are: Bhagavad-gita Srimad Bhagavatam 18 Puranas 108 Upanishads 4 Vedas The conclusion of these Vedic scriptures is that Lord Krishna is the supreme. Lord Brahma who was the first created living being clearly stated that Lord Krishna is the origin of all. Who are we to argue with Lord Brahma? Do we doubt our own father when he says something? If you truly love Bharat Varsha and want to see it once again rule the world then follow the Vedic scriptures and worship only Lord Krishna, only Lord Krishna. If you want to see Bharat Varsha become a slave and lose it's great culture and religion, then keep creating new sects and keep creating new Gods. The Mahabharat war was all about being righteous, both the sides followed the same religion, but one side was deviating and the other side was following righteousness. The deviaters lost. As predicted in the Vedic scriptures, in every Kali Yuga there are many imposters who will pose as God. People tend to be dumb and so will follow anyone who can create a miracle. Sai Baba materialises ash and millions worship him as God. This proves my point. His teachings are good, but he is not God. So follow his teachings but not him as God. In a similar way, follow the teachings of Swaminarayan but don't worship as God. So in conclusion, forget this God and that God, follow sanatan dharma, follow the Vedic scriptures, follow Lord Krishna only. "Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reaction. Do not fear." (Lord Krishna BG 18.66)

"People like Kcp have no idea what Krishna consciousness is all about." What non-sense. KC is about preaching the message of the Bhagvad-gita to all in the world. That is what I am doing. By being blind to the truth is not promoting KC but promoting irreligion. In Kali Yuga there is religion and irrligion. Knowing the difference is what KC is all about. We should respect all but at the same time be firm in our beliefs and not promote irrligious values like cow killing, rejecting karma, rejecting reincarnation and so on. As I stated before, most Gurus only preach what the people want to hear and not the truth. This kind of preaching is irreligion. The conclusion of the Bhagavad-gita is: "Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reaction. Do not fear. " (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-gita 18.66) If you don't get this message and promote it then you are not KC and are wasitng this rare human birth. Dicrimination is important, otherwise you are no better than a hog. Who does not discriminate it's food (eats anything) nor sex life (mates with anyone).

Hare Krishna. It's because of so many bogus preachers of Sanatan Dharma who preach what the people want to hear rather then the truth, that the Vedic culture is now a minority in the world. If you don't want to preach the truth then don't open your mouth. This is my advice to all the bogus preachers.

Hare Krishna. The Shiv Sena has done more for Srila Prabhupada and ISKCON then any of you. If it wasn't for the Shiva Sena, the ISKCON temple in Mumbai would not exist. The dieties were on the verge of being destroyed by ignorant Hindus. But Bal Thakery of the Shiv Sena stopped this and saved the dieties and the temple. You call this being fanatic or Saving own's dharma? Bal Thakery ki jai. Srila Prabhupada himself was very greatful to Bal Thakery for saving the dieties and the temple. Are you going to call Srila Prabhupada a fanatic and member of Shiv Sena? He would be very proud of this. As soon as a Hindu preaches Hindu values, straight from the scriptures. He is called a fanatic. This is the stupidity and foolisness of the ignorant followers of the Vedic dharma. If preaching the truth is called being a fanatic then I am very proud of it. Srila Prabhupada created ISKCON to spread Krishna consciousnes not to spread cow killing and crosses. Lord Chaitanya's mission is to stop cow killing and promote Krishna consciousness, not to pamper cow killers and promote their cow killing values. Srila Prabhupada called those who opposed the truth, fools and raskals. Thus those who oppose the truth are fools and raskals. "The Sastras of the yavanas, or meat-eaters, are not eternal scriptures. They have been fashioned recently, and sometimes they contradict one another. The scriptures of the yavanas are three: the Old Testament, the New Testament and the Koran. Their compilation has a history; they are not eternal like the Vedic knowledge. Therefore although they have their arguments and reasonings, they are not very sound and transcendental. As such, modern people advanced in science and philosophy deem these scriptures unacceptable." Lord Chaitanya (C.C. Adi lila chapter 17 verse 169) Pampering cow killers is not being compassionate to the cow is it? I am for saving the cow and the cow killers. This is real compassion.

Hare Krishna. Are any of my statements false? Their are in fact 100% accurate and the conclusion of the Bhagavad-gita is to abandon all varieties of religion and that's what I am preaching. Most Gurus preach what the people want to hear, which is not allways the truth. I am preaching the truth and based on the Gita, not my concotion. The reason why so many people are giving up a meat free life for values that order cow killing is that they are in darkness. How will know this unless someone tells them? People in darkness are like children. They will do things that will make them suffer. If you allow your children to eat candies all day then you are heartless. As they will suffer afterwards. If you stop them from eating candies then they will protest but that's being compassionate. As they will be saved from the dentist. Those who object to my views should go to Saudi Arabia and live there. You won't be able to take your beads with you, nor you BG, nor your dieties, you can't wear a tilak, you can't chant in public, and so on. Because of mass ignorance the rules of Saudi Arabia will be forced upon India too, in the future. You fools.

"ur purpose on earth is not to tell anyone who is right and who is wrong." It's absolutely certain from the Vedic scriptures that Lord Krishna is the supreme. Those who call themselves followers of Sanatan Dharma and do not accept the authority of the Vedic scriputres should be rejected. This is right. The purpose of life for all devotees is to say what is right and what is wrong. Unfortunately, very few devotees follow this truth. It's everyones duty to follow the scriptures and preach what the scriptrues state. If anyone does not follow the scriptures then they should be called bogus Gurus or bogus whatever. Anyone who witnesses a crime and does not report it is worse than the criminal. It is every devotee's duty to detemine what is right and what is wrong and make it public. Those who keep their mouth shut are no better than Bhisma who witnessed Draupadi being disrobed but he did nothing. Lord Krishna was very angry with him and he almost killed him with the wheel of a chariot in the mahabharat war. Lord Krishna states as Bhisma didn't say anything he was no different than Durshasan who was disrobing Draupadi. Let me state again, bogus Gurus should be rejected and I will state what is right and what is wrong. It's very unfortunate that devotees will complain about devotees who are preaching rather than to support them. This is Kali Yuga, because of very few preachers, the world has become demonic and it's getting worse. "In the Age of Kali, the Earth thus becomes crowded with a corrupt population..." (Shrimad-Bhagavatam, Canto 12 entitled, chapter 2 text 7) The reason for this is that people don't know what is right and what is wrong. Devotees must preach what is right and what is wrong.

Hare Krishna. I am only preaching the truth for the benefit of all. In Kali Yuga people are very ignorant and don't know what is right and what is wrong. I am preaching the truth to dispel the ignorance in everyone. It's due to ones religion that he is kept in darkness or light. That is the absolute truth. All humans are born pure and God consciouss, but because of their association with the values of their parents. They remain pure or become impure. It's a fact that all religions are not the same. There are many differences and it's very important to know and understand the differences. The animal mentality is that this is the only life, there was no life before this one and no life after this life. Unfortunately most humans also have this mentality. They can only come out of this mentality if they are made aware of the truth. A cow killer is simply following his religious scripture which will take him to hell. He can only stop killing if he knows of alertnatives.

An article from www.gitamrta.org Is There Life After Death? What will happen to me after death? The non-Vedic religions preach that this is the only life and after this life, we wait in our grave for the day of judgement and on that day we are either sent to hell or heaven forever. This means that for the sinners there is no second chance, as they will go to hell forever. They also preach that those who don’t follow their religion will go to hell forver. This philosophy raises some serious questions: · What happens to those who die in fires? Are they gone forever through no fault of their own? · What happens to those who are cremated? Are they gone forever? · If this is the only life, then why is everyone born in different conditions? Some are born rich, some poor, some healthy, some diseased, some die at an early age, some live longer, some suffer more than others, and so on. · Out of the billions who have been dead and buried, has anyone risen (resurrected) from their grave yet? · When will the dead rise from their grave (be resurrected)? The good news is that there is a religion, which preaches that God is merciful to all and thus know-one, is sent to hell forever. Everyone gets not one but unlimited chances. According to the Vedic scriptures, the oldest known to mankind. There is hell, heaven, and something beyond them, the spiritual universe called Vaikuntha. Hell and heaven are temporary but the spiritual universe is permanent. What happens to the sinners? After this life the sinners will take birth on one of the hellish planets and after their punishment is over they will again return to this or other Earthly planets in a suitable body (human or animal) and conditions of life (rich, poor, diseased, healthy etc..). What happens to the good? After this life the pious will take birth on one of the heavenly planets and when their pious credit is over, they will again return to this or other Earthly planets in a suitable body (human) and conditions of life (rich, poor, diseased, healthy etc..). What happens to those who are very good? After this life those who are god conscious will take birth in the spiritual universe, Vaikuntha, and will never return to the material world unless they really want to. There is no death, no disease, no anxiety, no taxes, no killing (no meat), no sex, no speculation, and no intoxications in the spiritual universe. We are not the body The main teaching of the Bhagavad-Gita is that we are not this body, but the soul, which is eternal. "For the soul there is neither birth nor death at any time. He has not come into being, does not come into being, and will not come into being. He is unborn, eternal, ever existing and primeval. He is not slain when the body is slain." (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita) Living beings are souls covered in a particular material body. Being material, the body is by nature temporary, and must at some point deteriorate and die. The soul on the other hand is spiritual in nature, which can never be destroyed. Material life is temporary, full of ignorance, and suffering. The soul is eternal, full of knowledge and bliss. What goes up will come down. Similarly, anything that has a beginning will also have an end. Thus the body, which has a beginning, will inevitably have an end, but the soul, which has no beginning, will continue to exist after the body is slain. "One who has taken his birth is sure to die, and after death one is sure to take birth again. Therefore, in the unavoidable discharge of your duty, you should not lament." (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita) Lord Krishna describes death in the Bhagavad-Gita as being nothing more than a change of dress: "As a person puts on new garments, giving up old ones, the soul similarly accepts new material bodies, giving up the old and useless ones." (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita) This body is nothing but a vehicle, and the soul is the passenger. When this vehicle is no longer suitable for the soul, due to old age and decay, the soul is given a new vehicle. Thus death is simply the transition from one vehicle to the next. "As the embodied soul continuously passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death. A sober person is not bewildered by such a change." (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita) What determines the next body that one will get after this body? Lord Krishna answers this question as follows: "Whatever state of being one remembers when he quits his body, O son of Kunti, that state he will attain without fail." (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita) According to our consciousness at the time of death we receive a suitable body. What we remember at the time of death is not just a matter of the momentary thought that occurs. What we have done throughout our entire life will naturally come to our mind as we leave our body. Just prior to death, our entire life is flashed before our mind's eye in a split second. One particular event will be very attractive to us, and we will focus on that. Based on that desire we will be given our next body, sometimes higher and sometimes lower. If our mind focuses on an activity, which is very ignorant, we will receive a suitable body among the lower species of life - as a plant, a fish, a tree, or an animal. If our mind focuses on an activity, which is passionate, we will be given a body within the human categories of life. If our mind focuses on an activity, which is primarily within the mode of goodness, we will receive a body on one of the higher planets – Brahmaloka, Indraloka etc. At death our mind will focus on an activity based on how we have lived our entire life. It is not possible to suddenly make our consciousness pure if we have spent our entire life engaged in sinful activities. Lord Krishna describes this entire universe as temporary and full of suffering. No matter which body one has, these two qualities are there. But there is an alternative, a solution to this seemingly endless cycle. Lord Krishna says: "And whoever, at the end of his life, quits his body, remembering Me alone, at once attains My nature. Of this there is no doubt." (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita) If we are able to remember Lord Krishna at the time of death, we will become free from the external covering of the body and attain His eternal abode. This sounds very simple, but again it is not such an easy thing. Death is the ultimate test we must all face. What will be our consciousness at that moment? For those who are attached to the body due to identifying the body as the self, death is the most difficult occurrence. For a self-realized person the situation is completely different. He understands he is not the body. He knows the body is just a vehicle, a machine, and as such he has no attachment to the external body. And because his consciousness is always fixed on the Lord, his destination is complete freedom from the cycle of birth and death. "After attaining Me, the great souls, who are yogis in devotion, never return to this temporary world, which is full of miseries, because they have attained the highest perfection." (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita) "That supreme abode of Mine is not illumined by the sun or moon, nor by fire or electricity. Those who reach it never return to this material world." (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita) "Always think of Me, become My devotee, worship Me and offer your homage unto Me. Thus you will come to Me without fail. I promise you this because you are My very dear friend." (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita) Is There Any Evidence of Reincarnation? There is over whelming evidence to support the reincarnation theory. Millions of humans around the world have had past life memories. There are numerous books and video documentaries with supporting evidence.

Hare Krishna. He is a very strong preacher, I would recommend that you listen to his lectures. He may appear as pro-Christian at times, but if you carefully listen to all his lectures. He is pure Vedic. His theme is that of Srila Prabhupada.
