Most Christians and Muslims have a completely inaccurate view of the Vedic religion. These answers will help them to better understand the Vedic teachings. Hare Krishna. Jesus was a Guru yes, but for a particular audience and not for everyone. Jesus's audience were the less educated and less inteligent. Jesus knew that Krishna was the supreme as he lived in India for about 18 years of his life with Hindu sages. He also read the Bhagavad-gita. When Jesus was asked if he had anything to declare. He said 'only my father who is in my heart'. Where did Jesus get this information from? The Bhagavad-gita. "I am the Super soul, seated in the hearts of all living entities. I am the beginning, the middle and the end of all beings." Lord Krishna (Bg. 10.20) The Christians have made a major coverup of their scriptures as they don't mention the life of Jesus from the age of 12 to about 30. He was actually in India, but they don't want to accept this truth. There is more evidence to support that Jesus was in India than any other theory. As Srila Prabhupada stated, Gurus preach according to the place, time, and audience. As Jesus's audience were not so inteligent he did not mention Krishna or the Vedic scriptures to them. As they would not understand it. Even today, very few Christians can understand that God is present in Dieties, reincarnation, karma etc.. Despite the evidence. Srila Prabhupada stated Jesus was a Guru, yes. But not God or the only son of God. Thus Krishna and Jesus are not one, the difference is master and servant, respectively. We are all the sons of God, not only Jesus. The conclusion of the Bhagavad-gita is : "Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reaction. Do not fear. " Lord Krishna (18.66) The above verse is also the one quoted by Srila Prabhupada the most. By worshipping a Guru as God, we will not attain perfection or advance in spiritual life. We should learn from a Guru, how to serve God better, but not follow the guru as God. This is what the Christians are doing. Srila Prabhupada's instructions were to learn from great Gurus from parampra or desciplic succession. Jesus does not come from desciplic succession. That's why Srila Prabhupada never placed Jesus's murty in any ISKCON temple.

If the milk miracle was attributed to capillary action, then why is it that the deities never drank a single drop of milk before 21 September 1995 and after? It is important to know the differences between Hinduism, Hindus, Vedic religion, sanatam dharma, and the hare krishnas (ISKCON). The eternal religion is called Sanatam Dharma in sanskrit which has the name 'Vedic religion'. The modern name for the Vedic religion is 'Hinduism'. The followers of the Sanatam Dharma, the Vedic religion or Hinduism are called the Hindus. Most Indian Hindus (non-ISKCON devotees) are basically impure followers of the Vedic religion, and the hare krishnas are pure followers of the Vedic religion, thus pure Hindus. The hare krishnas follow the Vedic scriptures like the Bhagavad-gita completely and properly. The Indian Hindus do not follow the Vedic scriptures properly or completely. Most Indian Hindus worship all sorts of beings as Gods. Millions worship Lord Shiva as God, millions worship Lord Bramha as God, millions worship Sai Baba as God, millions worship Swaminarayan as God, millions worship Kali as God, and millions worship Krishna as God. Thus within the Indian Hindus, some are pure followers of the Vedic scriptures like the Bhagavad-gita (those who worship Krishna as God) but most are impure followrs of the Bhagavad-gita as they act against the injunctions of the Bhagavad-gita, as they worship demigods and Gurus as Gods. What does the Bhagavad-gita say about who to worship? "Whatever a man sacrifices to other gods, O son of Kunti, is really meant for me alone, but it is offered without true understanding. I am the only enjoyer and the only object of sacrifice. Those who do not recognize my true transcendental nature fall down." (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 9.23) "He who follows this imperishable path of devotional service and who completely engages himself with faith, making Me the supreme goal, is very, very dear to Me." (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 12.20) What does the Bhagavad-gita say about who not to worship? "Men of small intelligence worship the demigods, and their fruits are limited and temporary. Those who worship the demigods go to the planets of the demigods, but My devotees ultimately reach My supreme planet." (Bhagavad-Gita 7.23) It is clear from the Vedic scriptures that Lord Shiva, Lord Brahma, Lord Indra are demigods who should be respected but not worshipped as God. And those who worship Gurus (Sai Baba, Swaminarayan etc..) as Gods are most degraded followers of the Vedic religion. Those who worship Lord Krishna as God are the purest followers of the Vedic religion (Hinduism). The hare krishnas represent the purest Hindus. The hare krishna movement is based on krishna consciousness, thus the name, the international society for krishna consciousness (ISKCON). Srila Prabhupada clearly wanted his followers to worship only Lord Krishna and not demogods or Gurus as God, that's why he set-up the International society for krishna consciousness (ISKCON). In the temples he built (to my knowledge), there were no dieties of demigods (Shiva, Ganesh, Bramha) on the altar, only Krishna and his incarnations. The reason being we should focus on worshipping Lord Krishna only, only Lord Krishna. If there are many dieties on the altar, then the focus on Lord Krishna becomes diluted and thus we gradualy diverge from krishna consciousness. Thus diverge from the principles of Srila Prabhupada's ISKCON. Thus although having many dieties on the altar (Lord Krishna and demigods) may be looked upon as diluting krishna consciousness. This can also work for the benefit of ISKCON, by attracting the average Indian Hindu who is currently in ignorance of the Vedic scriptures as he worships demigods or Gurus as God. The aim of Srila Prabgupada's movement is to help the fallen souls which includes helping most Indian Hindus come out of ignorance by making them krishna concious. Hare Krishna. In this age of darkness it's very important to know what is the truth and what isn't. Preaching to the masses of the world who are in ignorance is the mission of Lord chaintanya and Srila Prabhupada. I can certainly chant and be happy, but that is not going to help the fallen souls who are in darkness, unless someone shows them the light. There is so much non-sense beliefs in the world today. Srila Prabhupada challenged and kicked out the non-sense beliefs. He also instructed ALL his followers to do the same.

There is overwhelming evidence to support reincarnation. There are millions who have had past life memories. And there are books with case studies on people with past life memories and also vidoes documenting the evidence. There isn't a single person who has risen from their grave yet, not one. When you ask them when the dead will rise, they don't know. An incomplete philosophy is pure speculation. Despite these facts, billions still believe in ressurection and reject reincarnation. This is called mass ignorance.

If the Husband and wife are both KC, then there is no excuse for divorce. If one of them in not KC, then I can understand it. If both are so-called KC and decide to get divorced, they really haven't understood KC. KC means we live to serve Lord Krishna, and not our senses. This means how could we have disagreements and end up diovorcing? When we live to serve our senses then we may get fed up with our partner and move onto to another. A devotee is supposed to be more tolerant then a tree and lower than grass. So how could the husband and wife fight with each other and separate? In the christain marraiges ceremony they say 'til death do us part'. This has been taken as 'til death to my lust for you'. If you are KC, then there is no question of lust for anything. Thus devotees should not divorce if they are serious about serving Lord Krishna. Divorcing means you are fed-up with someone who you once loved and vowed to live with til death. If you cannot keep your vow to a human being, then how can you keep your vow of service to Lord Krishna? Mother earth can tolerate anything, but not those who break their promises. If you look at the lives of our grandparents, even those of westerners. Marriage in those days was not based on lust, just by arrangement. Looks and personalities didn't matter in those days, sexul lust is the modern invention of the West. Our grandparents had nothing compared to what we have today but they were a millions times happier in their marriages and lives than any of us today. The concept of love in the old days was that there was zero love before marriage, and it increased after marriage. In reality the love did increase and that's why divorce was extremely rare of in the days of our grandparents. The modern day conception of love is that 100% love first then marriage. The result is that love decrases after marriages, and eventually decreases to zero within a few years then there is divorce.

Life in Kali Yuga We are 5000 years into Kali Yuga, we still have another 427,000 years to go before Lord Krishna appears on a white horse as Lord Kalki to end this age. Having read the predictions you will see that the Vedic scriptures are infallible. Every prediction is becoming a reality. The recent Tsumani, and Katrina natural disasters, and global terrorism is just the beginning of a long period of pain and suffering for the sinful man. As predicted, mankind is engaged in sinful activities like meat eating, intoxications, illicit sex, gambling, and irreligiosity. The result is that man will suffer more and more. Only those who are fortunate enough to realize this will stop engaging in sinful activities and thus be saved. For them the cycle of birth, old age, disease and death will end after this life. The others will take countless births to face the wrath of nature and evil man. The Symptoms of Kali Yuga Religion, truthfulness, cleanliness, tolerance, mercy, duration of life, physical strength and memory will all diminish day by day. The Qualities of Men and Women in Kali Yuga In the Kali age people tend to be greedy, ill behaved and merciless, and they fight one another without good reason. Unfortunate and obsessed with material desires, the people of Kali-yuga are almost all barbarians. The women will freely wander from one man to the next. Women will become much smaller in size, and they will eat too much, have more children than they can properly take care of, and lose all shyness. They will always speak harshly and will exhibit qualities of thievery, deceit and unrestrained audacity. Men and women will live together merely because of superficial attraction, and success in business will depend on deceit. Womanliness and manliness will be judged according to one's expertise in sex. Servants will abandon a master who has lost his wealth, even if that master is a saintly person of exemplary character. Masters will abandon an incapacitated servant, even if that servant has been in the family for generations. Family ties will extend no further than the immediate bonds of marriage. In Kali-yuga men will be wretched and controlled by women. They will reject their fathers, brothers, other relatives and friends and will instead associate with the sisters and brothers of their wives. Thus their conception of friendship will be based exclusively on sexual ties. In Kali-yuga men will develop hatred for each other even over a few coins. Giving up all friendly relations, they will be ready to lose their own lives and kill even their own relatives. Men will no longer protect their elderly parents or their children. Thoroughly degraded, they will care only to satisfy their own bellies and genitals. The occupations of men will be stealing, lying and violence. People will be tormented by quarrels, hunger, thirst, disease and severe anxiety. The maximum duration of life for human beings in Kali-yuga will become fifty years. The humans will gradually come to appear like ghostly, haunted creatures. The Future Food of Humans Harassed by famine and excessive taxes, people will resort to eating leaves, roots, flesh, wild honey, fruits, flowers and seeds. The Environment in Kali Yuga The citizens will suffer greatly from cold, wind, heat, rain and snow. By the time the age of Kali ends, the bodies of all creatures will be greatly reduced in size. Most plants and herbs will be tiny, and all trees will appear like dwarf trees. Clouds will be full of lightning. Struck by drought, they will become completely ruined.

Hare Krishna. Without Srila Prabhupada there would be no Gurus, period. Srila Prabhupada is the father of all Gurus, and Lord Krishna is the supreme Guru. But we should offer our respects and serve all genuine Gurus.

Srila Prabhupada is the only saviour for modern man. There is no other saviour. He made the white cow eating elephants into true followers of God who now wake up at 4am, chant for 2 hours min, practice auterities, respect all living beings, and have the highest spiritual kowledge which come from Srila Prabhupada's books. Drunkards, gamblers, drugies, and killers (meat eaters) were transformed into god loving humans by Srila Prabhupada. Without him the white elephants would still be rats, killing for a living. The alternative is to wake up late, eat anything that moves, go to the church on sunday and ask for the daily bread, ignore God and worship a man, and while there also ask for forgivess for the sins commited during the week. Then repeat week, after week. Will this save you? Or worship a God five times a day and also believe that he cannot be seen as he has no form. Kill a mother who gives milk for life (cows) in-between and believe that killing others will lead to heaven and maybe even become listed on the FBI most wanted list. Will this save you? It's a complete waste of time to discuss the unauthorized scriptures like the Vanchamrut. The man made scriptures can say whatever they want, they are complete non-sensical.

The BAPS followers don't learn do they? I already stated above that It's no surprise that the irreligions are out growing the religion (Krishna consciousness). This was predicted 5000 years ago. It's no surpruse. It just gives another clear indication of the BAPS movement, an irreligious movement. As stated in the Srimad Bhagavatam, in Kali Yuga, the irrelgions will be considered as religion and religion as irreligion.

It doesn't matter what the Vachnamrut or any other scripture says, the Hindu religion is based on the Vedic scriptures of which the Bhagavad-gita is the essence of all Vedic knowledge. Vachnamrut is a man made scripture and thus not authorised. Only the eternal scriputres like the Bhagavad-gita are authorized, as they have existed since the beginning of time and are eternal. The fact that Lord Krishna is present in more than 98% of the temples around the world and Swaminarayan is present in less than 1% of the temples clealry proves who is the supreme in the Hindu religion. If you BAPS people want to call your self Hindus then follow the Vedic scriptures otherwise call your selves Adhrama. Which means those who oppose the Vedic scriptures. In the temples built by swaminarayan himself, Lord Krishna is in the center of the altar. Guess why? because Krishna is the supreme. I just cannot understand you BAPS followers foolishness. BAPS is an irreligious movement, that's for sure. You may not eat meat or onions, but so what? The donkeys don't eat meat or onions too.

The BAPS followers should now come to their senses and stop this non-sense of worshiping a Guru as God and worship only Lord Krishna. Krishna is mentioned as the Supreme Personality of Godhead in the Brahma Sutras, Bhagawat Purana, Skand Purana, Varaha Purana, Padma Purana, Vishnu Purana, Brhan-Naradiya Purana. Even in the swaminarayan Shikshapatri: "The Paramatma – Shree Krishna who is supreme, Parabrahman, Bhagwan or Purushottam and who is the cause of all manifestations is the Lord of us all. He is to be worshipped for final redemption. (108)" So stop all the non-sense talk and surrender onto Lord krishna now. The BAPS movement is an irreligious movement out to destroy dharma by refusing to follow the authorized Vedic scriptures and concocting their own new God.

The power of the Lord's external energy is inconceivable. How one storm can destroy the social structure of an area ranging from 50 miles west of New Orleans all the way to Mobile, Alabama is stunning. In Mississippi, everything from Jackson on south is devastated. There are no commerce, transportation or other normal activities going on. Despite our good fortune to have our temples in both New Orleans and New Talavan emerge relatively unscathed, the harsh reality is that there is no functioning society around us. The devotees in New Orleans are virtually trapped. Although they have supplies, there is no power, running water or cooking gas. The sanitation system is nonexistent. There is no water pressure in case of a fire, and water is till rising in the city from a 500-foot break in the river levee. This just came in this morning's news: NEW ORLEANS - The governor of Louisiana says everyone needs to leave New Orleans due to flooding from Hurricane Katrina. "We've sent buses in. We will be either loading them by boat, helicopter, anything that is necessary," Gov. Kathleen Blanco said. Army engineers struggled without success to plug New Orleans' breached levees with sandbags, and Blanco said Wednesday the situation was worsening, leaving no choice but to evacuate. "The challenge is an engineering nightmare," Blanco said on ABC's "Good Morning America.The National Guard has been dropping sandbags into it, but it's like dropping it into a black hole." As the waters continued to rise in New Orleans, four Navy ships raced toward the Gulf Coast with drinking water and other emergency supplies, and Red Cross workers from across the country converged on the devastated region. The Red Cross reported it had about 40,000 people in 200 shelters across the area in one of the biggest urban disasters the nation has ever seen. The death toll from Hurricane Katrina reached at least 110 in Mississippi alone, while Louisiana put aside the counting of the dead to concentrate on rescuing the living, many of whom were still trapped on rooftops and in attics. A full day after the city thought it had escaped Katrina's full fury, two levees broke and spilled water into the streets of New Orleans on Tuesday, swamping an estimated 80 percent of the bowl-shaped, below-sea-level city, inundating miles and miles of homes and rendering much of New Orleans uninhabitable for weeks or months. "We are looking at 12 to 16 weeks before people can come in," New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin said on ABC's "Good Morning America, "and the other issue that's concerning me is have dead bodies in the water. At some point in time the dead bodies are going to start to create a serious disease issue." Perhaps when civil and governmental authorities find the New Orleans devotees, they will ship them to New Talavan or engage them in cooking and serving meals to the other storm refugees. If anyone reading this has the ability to communicate by phone, please inform the New Orleans emergency authorities that there are at least 15 Hare Krsna devotees, including the devotees hurt in the recent accident, in urgent need of evacuation at 2936 Esplanade Ave., and if possible they need to get to New Talavan in Carriere, Mississippi, where our community can care for them. New Talavan is a different situation. Although we have well water, LP cooking gas and some bhoga, supplies such as LP gas, gasoline, diesel fuel, dahl, rice, oats, cash etc. are running low and need to be rationed. There is no phone service, and the electricity will be out for at least two months. If we don't start our own massive cleanup operation, it will be months before the local government can clear the county roads. The devotees have already cleared the roads on the farm itself, but we are still cut off from the surrounding area. Our need and request is to please contact FEMA administrators (601 960-9999) and the Red Cross (800 GET-HELP). Inform them about our community in NW Hancock County, north of Leetown at 31492 Anner Road, We are providing water and meals for locals and 23 devotees on the temple property. If they can supply us with LP gas, rice, oats, beans, corn, canned tomatoes, butter and sugar, gasoline and diesel fuel to run our generator, etc., we can supply meals to many people from the surrounding community. It is stunning and shocking to have your entire social system stripped down naked. There are some here who have lost their mental equilibrium, perhaps the greatest danger of such a disaster. All of our books distributors and Food for Life collectors worked the New Orleans tourist district, which is under water and will not reopen for months. We cannot even send or receive mail, which was another important source of income. All the banks and ATMs are closed and inoperative. Thus the only for us to receive funds is electronically. The daily temperatures are still in the 90s, so the devotees welcome and relish the cool mornings and evenings.
