At what time is Rama ekadashi ending?

Kulpavana, You have used the word phantasmagoria. Not joking but seriously I liked this word a lot, but I do not see it being used much. Is there any background behind the usage of this word in the context in which you are using it?

I read that Rama ekadashi will start the morning of 17 Oct. It is only about 8 hours from now. Could you give me some details on it?

In the following the first is Marianne and the second is Donovan. You have written that Ma in Marianne is pronounced like Ma in madam. I have assumed that this is the same as ma in Mary because often I have heard people pronouncing madam like that. But some people pronounce it as maa like la in large but m in place of l. If you mean that pronunciation, then let me know and I will make change accordingly.

I have heard "Laura" pronounced many times. In this Lau is pronounced like Lo of Lord and ra is pronounced like raa. This is written in Hindi as :- Now, let me guess Mia. Mi is pronounced like mi in mint (or do you give stress on i as ee in see?) and a in mia is pronounced like a in yacht. If you pronounce Mia differently, then let me know. Assuming that my guess is correct, Mia in Hindi is:- Please click on the following link and answer survey questions there:- http://www.audarya-fellowship.com/forums/sanskrit/422295-survey-those-who-want-words-hindi-sanskrit.html

Let me know the pronunciations of Marianne and Donovan. Goddess in Sanskrit (and also in Hindi) is pronounced as "devi". In Sanskrit/Hindi, devi is written as:- Please note. If anybody having knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit, reads the above word, he will not pronounce it as goddess. He will pronounce it as devi, which means goddess. I think this is what you want.

You have written Tovey in Hindi as if it is pronounced like Tov-hee. But the person making the request has mentioned that it is to be pronounced as Toh-vee.

I do not remember having read that Drona used Brahmadanad. But then, I am not knowledgeable about everything written in Mahabharata. So, let us assume that Drona did use Brahmadanda. Was it wrong? In a war, everybody has the right to use whatever weapon he is capable of using. Drona was capable of using Brahmadanda and he used it.

The word sacrifice can be used for two reasons. One is as an offering to some god in some worship. For this the word is as drkpp has written. This is pronounced as aahuti. There is another sense in which sacrifice is used. It is when you sacrifice something which you like for somebody else's happiness or for any other cause. Here the sanskrit word is "tyaag".

Here is Oakley (pronounced OAKLEE, where OAK is pronounced as the name of OAK tree is pronounced) in Devanagiri:-

I have used Devanagiri script. This is used in Hindi and Sanskrit languages. This script reads left to right. There are some languages like Arabic and Urdu, which you read right to left. But I do not know these.

Out of the three options, please choose one depending upon how you pronounce your son's name. If you select a wrong one (even though it may look good), then if somebody sees the tattoo and he knows Hindi, then he will pronounce it wrongly. Yes, just previous to this post If somebody, who knows Hindi sees the tattoo, how do you want him to pronounce GRAY. Should it be like gra of grass? Or like color grey? Or, may be something else? Please go only by pronunciation and not by spelling. For writing GRAY (or any other name) in Hindi,I only need to know how you pronounce it and not how you spell it.

I am posting Emily (pronounced emi-lee) in Devanagiri. Some people pronounce it this way. But, as I have found some others pronounce it as em-ilee where i is pronounced like i of ink. If you pronounce the same way, let me know. In this post I am assuming it is emi-lee where mi is pronounced like mi of mister.

Hi, I am posting here three ways of writing Callum. The first is pronounced as if there is a single l i.e. like Calum. Here ca is pronounced like ca of cat or, to take another example, ca of calcium. lum is pronounced like lum of alum. So, lu is pronounced like lu of luck. In the second, we keep in mind that there are two l and the two are pronounced in quick succession as in Billy. Because of this first l is pronounced for a very short time. In the third, we pronounce both l but not in quick succession. In other words we pronounce Cal, then we wait for a second or so and then lum. Please choose whichever you want depending on how you pronounce your son's name. I will translate Emily now. Its pronounciation is easy. It is emilee. Right? I will write this in next post. I am sure you would like your husband's name also.

Hi, Here is Callum in Devanagiri script assuming that while pronouncing you pronounce two l sound in quick succession. Note: If you can email me a recording (e.g. a wave file) by which I can know how Callum is pronounced, then I will be able to tell exactly how it is written in Devanagiri. But, from what I have understood, the attachment here should give you correct answer.

Hi, When you pronounce cal-lum, do you pronounce both 'l' completely or do you pronounce first l for a very short time? Take an example Billy. This is also one name. Here l appears two times just like in Callum. In Billy the two l are pronounced rapidly one after another. Do you pronounce two l in Callum the same way or do you pronounce each l separately? I am asking these because to write any word in Hindi (script name is Devanagiri), correct pronunciation is important.

Hi, Are you sure that Callum is correct? Somewhere I read that some people pronounce it as cal-lum. Are you not from Scotland? Here is Phoebe (pronounced feebee) in Hindi:-
