  1. Well, yes, I laugh a lot, but here it is simple economics - the law of supply and demand. If the demand for milk were higher then the price would be higher and they would not consider killing 103,000 cows to artificially reduce the supply in order to drive the price back up. Just economics. That's all these animals care about.

    cow's milk again

The zoo. Send them to India. Scrap the tractor. It's a tough problem - we don't want to end the cow species. Maybe the machines will run out of gas and live male cows will come back into style. Maybe kindness and decency will come back into vogue. At Ratha-Yatra I was actually wondering how in twenty years we'll acommodate the million Torontonians who will show up to take Lord Jagannatha down Yonge Street. There is hope.

    Srimad bhagavatam

The Bhagavatam foretells future events as well, like the Buddha and Kali-yuga avataras. It is written that the Vedas are not manufactured, but emanate from the mouth of Lord Narayana as He breathes. He is unborn and lives eternally, therefore the Vedas are unborn and eternal. This perfect merciful sound is captured from time-to-time in writing in this world, in portions here and there, to our good fortune.

    cow's milk again

But the question relates to people who buy milk, not meat. Female cows are allowed to live a while because their milk produces revenue for the exploiters. If the cows were only good for meat, they would be murdered after fattening, along with the males. Is this what we want?

    cow's milk again

When I buy broccoli in the supermarket, I give money to the store owner so he can buy a steak, to the cashier who will buy a hamburger, to the truck driver who will buy a pepperoni pizza, to the packager who will buy a leather belt, to the farmer who grew the crop who bought a leather coat with it, to the man who made that leather coat who will buy a steak with it, to the ......., and on and on. It's an ugly world. Support zero consumption. Breathe air and eat fruit fallen from trees. Sleep under a different tree every night.
  8. The people who won't buy their share of milk are killing these 103,000 cows.

    Celibacy

Believe it or not, it is absolutely natural. Detachment from matter is a natural byproduct of love of God. Don't worry, it just happens. We always have a choice, spirit or matter. Eventually the sham of matter becomes just too apparent.

    what is ego

False prestige is the honor/esteem/pride related to material or impermanent opulence. It is not real, but false, related to the temporary body. This causes the big big egos. False prestige fuels the separation between the self and the soul. Bhagavad-gita 16.10: Bhagavad-gita As It Is Chapter 16 Verse 10 kAmam Azritya duSpUraM dambha-mAna-madAnvitAH mohAd gRhItvAsad-grAhAn pravartante 'zuci-vratAH SYNONYMS kAmam--lust; Azritya--taking shelter of; duSpUram--insatiable; dambha--of pride; mAna--and false prestige ; mada-anvitAH--absorbed in the conceit; mohAt--by illusion; gRhItvA--taking; asat--nonpermanent; grAhAn--things; pravartante--they flourish; azuci--to the unclean; vratAH--avowed. TRANSLATION Taking shelter of insatiable lust and absorbed in the conceit of pride and false prestige , the demoniac, thus illusioned, are always sworn to unclean work, attracted by the impermanent. PURPORT The demoniac mentality is described here. The demons have no satiation for their lust. They will go on increasing and increasing their insatiable desires for material enjoyment. Although they are always full of anxieties on account of accepting nonpermanent things, they still continue to engage in such activities out of illusion. They have no knowledge and cannot tell that they are heading the wrong way. Accepting nonpermanent things, such demoniac people create their own God, create their own hymns and chant accordingly. The result is that they become more and more attracted to two things--sex enjoyment and accumulation of material wealth. The word azuci-vratAH, "unclean vows," is very significant in this connection. Such demoniac people are only attracted by wine, women, gambling and meat-eating; those are their azuci, unclean habits. Induced by pride and false prestige, they create some principles of religion which are not approved by the Vedic injunctions. Although such demoniac people are most abominable in the world, by artificial means the world creates a false honor for them. Although they are gliding toward hell, they consider themselves very much advanced. BG 16.17: Bhagavad-gita As It Is Chapter 16 Verse 17 Self-complacent and always impudent, deluded by wealth and false prestige , they sometimes proudly perform sacrifices in name only, without following any rules or regulations. The PATH: Srimad Bhagavatam, Introduction One should chant the holy name of the Lord in a humble state of mind, thinking oneself lower than the straw in the street; one should be more tolerant than a tree, devoid of all sense of false prestige , and ready to offer all respect to others. In such a state of mind one can chant the holy name of the Lord constantly. SB 3.31.29: Srimad Bhagavatam Canto 3 Chapter 31 Verse 29 With the growth of the body, the living entity, in order to vanquish his soul, increases his false prestige and anger and thereby creates enmity towards similarly lusty people. SB 4.26.8: Srimad Bhagavatam Canto 4 Chapter 26 Verse 8 anyathA karma kurvANo mAnArUDho nibadhyate guNa-pravAha-patito naSTa-prajJo vrajaty adhaH SYNONYMS anyathA--otherwise; karma--fruitive activities; kurvANaH--while acting; mAna-ArUDhaH--being influenced by false prestige; nibadhyate--one becomes entangled; guNa-pravAha--by the influence of the material qualities; patitaH--fallen; naSTa-prajJaH--bereft of all intelligence; vrajati--thus he goes; adhaH--down. TRANSLATION Otherwise, a person who acts whimsically falls down due to false prestige . Thus he becomes involved in the laws of nature, which are composed of the three qualities [goodness, passion and ignorance]. In this way a living entity becomes devoid of his real intelligence and becomes perpetually lost in the cycle of birth and death. Thus he goes up and down from a microbe in stool to a high position in the Brahmaloka planet. pres·tige NOUN: The level of respect at which one is regarded by others; standing. A person's high standing among others; honor or esteem. Widely recognized prominence, distinction, or importance: a position of prestige in diplomatic circles.

    About Lord Rama's Life

Zero days. Ravana only thought he had the real Sitadevi. This is revealed in the Sri Caitanya-caritamrita Madhya 1.117 Sri Caitanya Caritamrta Madhya-lila Chapter 1 Verse 117:

    God unlimitedly complex?

"Can God create a rock so big that he cannot lift it?" Srila Prabhupada was asked this question. His answer was: "Krsna can create a rock He cannot lift ..... then He would lift it".
  16. It will also cure heterosexually.

    God unlimitedly complex?

Indeed, God is certainly much more complex than this silly world. With but a tiny fragment of His splendor He manifests all we can perceive. So the atheists are right - at least about that. Of course His complexity and greatness are far beyond us to imagine. Only our vanity will dare to write words on a page. But what else can we do? Krsna is so great, that the challenges of the atheists are but comic relief anymore. Yet they are reaching out to us desperately, indirectly asking that we help them understand. Their belligerence is simply the frustration they experience, either from misunderstanding or from lust's unfulfilled attachment. It is their good fortune that somehow or other they are asking us - they can only know, from someone who knows. Let us treat them as we would like to have been treated ourselves in our arrogance and ignorance, before we grasped the bigger picture of eternal life and love.

    The play of creation

You are talking about the lila incarnation, Prince of Dvaraka, Lord Krishna. We are speaking about Bhagavan Svayam Sri Krsna who is described in the Srimad-Bhagavatam as the source of all incarnations - http://vedabase.net/sb/1/3/28/en. From this verse we can see that as you say, Lord Krishna and Lord Rama are both the same Sri Krsna, God. Sri Krsna appears in His original form as Lord Krishna or as His primary expansion form of Balarama or as Lord Nrsimha or Vamana, Varaha, Kurma, Matsya, ad infinitum - depending on His desire and purpose and His own sweet will.

    The play of creation

This is the essence of the error. Krsna is. He has no source. He just Is. One of His attributes is the Brahman. This is how it is. Krsna can be seen. But not with these material eyes. This is how it is.
  21. The ritviks were never in charge, will never be in charge. Despite starting on a faulty premise they wonder in delightful speculation, ignoring that their initial premise is fatally flawed. When you point it out to them they avoid the issue, and start their own church with themselves as worshipable leaders. Srila Jayapataka Swami Maharaja has always been in charge of some portion of ISKCON's world flock.

The Brahman is an attribute of Krsna's.
  23. No, he is one of the original eleven selected by Srila Prabhupada to continue after his departure.
  24. Let us turn the other cheek and hope that this man learns the easy way that Krsna is God. Or the hard way. Jesus will not accept such offenses. Let the lesson fall swiftly.
