In fact if anyone in the church claims of being on the level of Lord Jesus and sitting on Lord Jesus' vyasasana he is immediately excommunicated. And you know it! So, you say, you believe that Lord Jesus is the son of God but you say he cannot give diksha? This is direct violation of the teachings of all the Vaishnava acaryas of our sampradaya, and thus to be rejected. Anyone who teaches Lord Jesus cannot give diksha speaks against the teachings of Vaishnava acaryas and has to be rejected. These are rather gross misconceptions (apasiddhanta) regarding the validity of our parampara.

When it comes to Prabhupada giving diksha you say, Prabhupada is dead and gone. When it comes to Lord Jesus you say, yes, Jesus Christ is so powerful, he can give spiritual diksha? "...Can explain all this to me", not sure if you're actually willing to understand all this. Rather a question of being disposed.

All this "gee" doesnt help you this time, you're caught! This is of course not with all your heart but rather halfheartedly. And when applied on Prabhupada immediately rejected - Lord Jesus can guide you from within and absorb your sins but Prabhupada cannot. In other words, your so called Jesus glorification says, if we preach that Lord Jesus can give spiritual diksha we have no explanation whatsoever why Prabhupada cannot give diksha. Therefore we just say, "Jesus loves you", but understand secretly that Jesus is fantasy, illusion, hallucination. Quite a sure procedure how to blaspheme a "great devotee of the Lord who preaches the glories of the Lord". Luckily people don't fall for this kind of ambivalence anymore and avoid such kind of "spiritual enlightenment" altogether.

For example, ultrasound has been used in fetal and other diagnostic medical imaging, ultrasonic teeth cleaning, physiotherapies, or surgical ablation. Thu Oct 30, 2008 3:06pm EDT Oldest Hebrew Text Ever Found By Ari Rabinovitch JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Archaeologists in Israel said on Thursday they had unearthed the oldest Hebrew text ever found, while excavating a fortress city overlooking a valley where the Bible says David slew Goliath. The dig's uncovering of the past near the ancient battlefield in the Valley of Elah, now home to wineries and a satellite station, could have implications for the emotional debate over the future of Jerusalem, some 20 km (12 miles) away. Archaeologists from the Hebrew University said they found five lines of text written in black ink on a shard of pottery dug up at a five-acre (two-hectare) site called Elah Fortress, or Khirbet Qeiyafa. Experts have not yet been able to decipher the text fully, but carbon dating of artifacts found at the site indicates the Hebrew inscription was written about 3,000 years ago, predating the Dead Sea Scrolls by 1,000 years, the archaeologists said. Several words, including "judge,slave" and "king," could be identified and the experts said they hoped the text would shed light on how alphabetic scripts developed. In a finding that could have symbolic value for Israel, the archaeologists said other items discovered at the fortress dig indicated there was most likely a strong king and central government in Jerusalem during the period scholars believe that David ruled the holy city and ancient Israel. Modern-day Israel often cites a biblical connection through David to Jerusalem in supporting its claim, which has not won recognition internationally, to all of the city as its "eternal and indivisible capital." Palestinians, saying biblical claims have been superseded by the long-standing Arab population in Jerusalem, want the eastern part of the city, captured by Israel in a 1967 war, to be the capital of the state they hope to establish in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. "The chronology and geography of Khirbet Qeiyafa create a unique meeting point between the mythology, history, historiography and archaeology of King David," said Yosef Garfinkel, the lead archaeologist at the fortress site.

What the Vaishnava institutions or "stonehearted" are de facto preaching is that worship of Lord Jesus is rather humbug, or they say, Lord Jesus has the power to initiate whereas Prabhupada, the siksa-guru of all present gurus, has no power, is unable to guide you from within and absorb your sinful reactions. Since this looks rather like easy to see through arbitrariness and not like a genuine presentation of vedic knowledge, could be that therefore the only remaining answer of many is not to present intelligent reason but primitively deride Lord Jesus. In other words, such folks find themselves immediately in the company of quarreling kanistha-adikari/aparadhi/mental speculators and when examining the present preaching perfomance of Western Vaishnava institutions this option could be hitting the mark.

Instead we find Vaishnavas preaching, Christianity = uncurable meat eaters. But since modern Vaishnavas are so much against "material designations" like Christianity who preach to believe in a personal God, why bother, why preach to those and help them to advance? When Prabhupada writes in Srimad-Bhagvatam, "Jesus Christ and Muhammad, two powerful devotees of the Lord, have done tremendous service on behalf of the Lord on the surface of the globe", present Vaishnava leaders say, oh, Prabhupada was a Hare Christian?

Since you insist upon presenting christian as mundane bodily designation, what about a christian who is vegetarian, chants all day the holy name of God and preaches that love of God and to 24h serve God is the highest goal in life? Btw, without Christianity you wouldnt be able to read and write. Did you know that in India 400 million people are illiterate? Since you need to know how to read for studying sastra but learned how to read in a Christian school, another prove that without Christianity nobody would be Vaishnava. And since Christianity made it possible that people become Vaishnavas, one shouldnt be constantly badmouthing these humble servants of Vaishnavism.

Since there would be today no Vaishnavism possible in the West without Abrahamic pioneer work, it is of course kind of primitive and artificial move trying to redline and exclude Abrahmic teaching from the path of pure bhakti. Rather the great acaryas like Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura always taught how to dovetail and not to compulsively eradicate things which are in fact part of present Vaishnavism. Can a sannyasi say, I reject my mother because she's a woman? Without his mother he could have never become a learned renunciate. So these are foolish ideas, we find nowhere in the Vedas. Since the acaryas even teach that Lord Jesus is a great devotee of the Lord, we find our so called advanced spiritual position immediatey in the camp of aparadhi when debasing and villyfying those who see things in proper context as Hare Christians.

As we see in Srimad-Bhagavatam, no mentioning that worship of Jesus is useless and that you need a living guru instead. If Jesus cannot still absorb sinful reactions and guide you from within, the acaryas would have mentioned it. Instead it says, Jesus and Muhammad are powerful devotees. Since Western civilization is basically Christian background, genuine Vaishnavas should teach that without Lord Jesus' pioneer work, the Western world would not yet be ready to go further for understanding Vaishnava philosophy. Without Lord Jesus there would be right now the whole Western world full of nothing but illiterate Neanderthal men fighting against each other about bread. Not to properly recognize the position of Jesus but calling oneself a Vaishnava means to live in aparadha against Jesus, a powerful devotee of the Lord, as Prabhupada and other great acaryas mentioned several times. To say, Jesus can guide you from within, di, and absorb your sins, ksa, means you accept Jesus can give you diksa. To say that the current siksa-guru of all present Vaishnavas, Srila Prabhupada, cannot do this, guide people from within and absorb sinful reactions, means people are having a severe error in reasoning. Either they say, Jesus is powerful he can do this. Prabhupada is too weak he cannot do this. Or they believe that worship of Jesus is humbug and useless. Both understandings are actually aparadha, hampering and strangling your spiritual development. But in any case, since there's presently no Vaishnava who presented a new chapter of refined vedic siddhanta but only repeat what Prabhupada presented in his books, they all are nothing but siksa disciples of Prabhupada. In other words, Prabhupada is the guru of them all. They simply must be taught about how to properly understand Prabhupada's books.

Hindus Second Largest Religious Community in NZ The theme of the conference was "Contribution of Hindu Community to the National Life of New Zealand". The keynote address was presented by Dr Guna Magesan, general secretary, Hindu Council of New Zealand Inc and a senior scientist with NZ government research organisation. In his presentation, he highlighted the fact, based on NZ census 2006, that Hindu community is the second largest faith-based community in New Zealand and that it grew by 62% in the last 5 years. Hindu Contribution to New Zealand The Prime Minister acknowledged the Hindu contribution to the national life of New Zealand in her special address to the audience. Dr Magesan, in his keynote address, mentioned how Hindu doctors and nurses are providing services by working for the various health boards and also running successful private hospitals, thereby fulfilling the shortage of skills in the health sector. In terms of economics, he explained how the Hindu migrants moved from mini business (corner dairy shops) to mega projects in a few decades. In education, the number of graduates, post graduates and doctoral degree holders in Hindu community multiplied three fold as compared to the total population, in percentage terms. In social and cultural aspects, Dr Magesan showed evidences of strengthening bonds between Hindus and Maori community, and also how Hindus have integrated with the New Zealand society while maintaining the Hindu identity intact.
