simply, in the spiritual world, EVERYTHING IS THERE.. also chastisements, also armys and soldiers (in the dvaraka's or vishnu's army..) but everything is VAIKUNTA (= no anxiety, no frustration) and full of eternity, consciousness and bliss..... SAT CIT ANANDA

as i have badly said (i am sorry for my very bad english) direct and indirect relationship are possible, there's not real difference between them, but we will ever think that krsna, vaikunta, goloka is given to us by our spiritual master(s) and we will be eternally grateful to him (/them) "janme janme" continues also in the spiritual world.. we cannot enter or remain there if we are not humbly, deeply and totally grateful to vaishnavas

it is very difficult for me, being a conditioned soul, to speak of the relationships of vaikunta... but two things: 1)to be a disciple is a love relationship, so in a pure state of consciousness we do not see it as a limit or a frustration and we do not see the spiritual master as an obstacle to reach krsna..... if we will play directly with govinda or we will serve anyone who will be playing directly with Him, it will not do any difference for us 2)we can see disciple and master relationship also in eternally liberated persons (prabhupada - bhaktisiddhanta) and also with the supreme personality of godhead (krsna - sandipani muni) ............... spiritual master is ultimately for increasing the freedom, not for limiting it... it is very easy to see if the attachment of srila prabhupada for his spiritual master was a limiting factor for him or not let us try to understand that the spiritual environment do not works with the material world's logic ....

i do not understand exactly how your pictures are put in the altar... but i do not think that any of them can disturb your japa or bhajan, so there's no need to change anything for the purpose of better chanting find a pure spiritual master for your spiritual life, ask questions and he will give you a sadhana perfectly suited for your spiritual advancement in general term, better to follow a system given by superiors (for example the IskCon morning program given by Srila Prabhupada), we will receive the benefit by the single practices, the songs, archana etc.. but also by the "charge", the special shakti given by the tradition started from the instruction of a pure vaishnava

yes... this quote is mayavada only if we read it out of context... the ramayana, surely does not suggest in any way an oneness in existence of rama and hanuman or a "merging" or anything like that.. surely hanuman says that as an expression of deep and intense love......in this way the heart and mind of hanuman is surely one with sitaram /images/graemlins/smile.gif

sorry dear prabhus.. but i am a little surprised not hearing even a little bit of autocritic.. people make fun of spiritualists also because in this world the 99% of who claim to be a spiritualist is a fanatic and a hypocrite... more or less one of the features of an authentic pure devotee is that he's dear to everyone.... if people is making fun of us, it is also krsna saying to us that we have to be more coherent with the things we are preaching and more pure and detached. prabhupada, in his tremendous work of spreading krsna consciousness, now has relatively few critics if you go to an "antisect/antihare krsna" site or something like that, it is very easy to hear critics and offences to the organizations, successors etc. but it is very hard to find direct attacks to srila prabhupada.. his coherence (=tapasya) is out of discussion even for the worst materialists ... apologies for my bad english

srila prabhupada does not leave goloka vrindavan, we have material eyes and we think that he was for a period in this world like an ordinary human beeing /images/graemlins/smile.gif he is surely a goloka vrindavan citizen, he never fell in this material world

can you ask questions to a book?

the books written by krsna or a pure devotee are trascendental, but we know that we need to learn spiritual science by master, books and tradition (guru, shastra, sadhu) the presence of the master is essential because he teach according time, place and circumstance we can read easily shastra but it could be very difficult to choose the instructions that are good for us an example is arjuna in the gita, he is not irreligious or a sinner, he simply, before asking to krsna, wants to follow a path that is good for sannyasis and brahmanas.. not for ksatrya and how can we learn to became humble, if we do not want anyone chastising ourselves when we are wrong?

Holy Name does not wait for diksha.... but chanting hare krsna is also asking service.... God has infinite features, and these infinite features give to him infinite names (originally all the names indicate qualities..... frank = sincere, paula = little etc.): buddah = the most intelligent allah = the greatest yahveh = the eternal and so on and god is also krsna, and krsna means the "all attractive". and krsna is so attractive because he has all the qualities (intelligent, great, eternal etc.) in infinite amount so in the name krsna there are all the other names ...... this is the first stage...... then, if required, i explain that god is personal (person = name, form, qualities, activities, associates etc.)

lust is love for gaining advantage or gratification, even little or subtle true love is unconditioned, radha is prepared to love krsna even if he does not reciprocate great saints love krsna without asking even to go in paradise or spiritual world or simply have less material suffering this kind of love, the real love, is called bhakti
