viewing the suggestion of all the devotees i also want to stress on association if you can make friends with other not fanatic devotee couple or singles and to spend together holidays, dinners, walks, maybe cinema, concert, a pizza outside... that will be very good and another thing i find that "not devotee" people is often very intelligent and selective, if you can bring your wife at the temple when there is a very important devotee, a guru, a sannyasi... or you can invite a devotee like that in your house, this could be a very effective thing i do not think to be a fanatic, and i am also, for an average materialist like me, quite sincere..... i have preached to some people for years, with big scriptural research, undisputable logic etc. receiving only laughs in exchange... but i have seen them accepting immediately the message of chaitanya mahaprabhu and eventually also initiation in a few years, simply when an authoritative devotee said to them "now you get your japa mala and you start to chant hare krishna" many people are more at ease with the boss....

do not be frustrated..... to find and keep a companion for the life is not easy for everyone for devotees also, in western countries we have a divorce rate like hollywood stars so please do not make anything fanatic relatives, sons, parents, wifes, husbands are very sensible to hypochrisy, because they know us and they sense that we are not now a buddha or an ascetic on the gange's river only because we spent two or three sundays at the temple ... so please you have to be constantly monitoring your state of consciousness to avoid any little bit of fanaticism.. now you are everyday under x-rays by everyone who knows you do not press.. your new life, externally, is mainly chant some rounds of japa and read some new books.. so there's not much to create conflicts be yourself, chant harekrishna, make friends with devotee couples (not fanatic!!) do not make a quarrel about the name of your new baby.... call him jim or john if she wants this (you will call confidentially govinda or janardhana in some years when all will be adjusted in your family by sri krsna) .. and.... in my opinion... ehem.... be tolerant (with her and with yourself) regarding the regulative principle N.3 especially do not make the hypocrisy to be a sannyasy under the sun and a porn actor in the night ........

"The only problem is that the advocates of the 64 rounds are "subtling" suggesting that those who chant the minimum of 16 rounds a day as recommended by Srila Prabhupada may never get perfection" prabhu... this simply your speculation, 'cause you have not interwieved any one chanting 64 rounds in the world i'd put more attention to avoid vaishnava aparadha ehem also in bhaktisiddhanta times the preachers were chanting 16 rounds..... and your "Gaudya Math" theory is strange... because Gaudya Math is not one group but many..(iskcon, chaitanya mission, chaitanya sarasvata and so on) and because 16 rounds is the standard almost everywhere the same old story: fake (fanatic) mystics say that preachers are simply in passion (rajasic) fake (fanatic) preachers say that mystics are lazy ... our duty is to arrive at the point of continue chanting, remembering, seeing krsna, and it is not possible if we criticize vaishnavas

this is the spirit of the highest devotional level... the pure devotee does not want any reward from the practice.. paradise... good karma.. even vaikuntaloka he does everything for krsna's pleasure for us it's another matter i chant because i tremble and i feel myself a rubbish when my guru maharaja heavily chastize when we do not chant or when we do it without attention

the fact is that prabhupada in his books instruct to find the bona fide present guru who your friend is crying and praying for.. the way for prabhupada to be guru now, is to instruct by the shastras and to send a bona fide person to complete the overall picture and give a complete SCHOOL to the practitioner like bhaktisiddhanta did with us, he's pure, he never die, but he have send prabhupada... not only books this is the principle, used in all the yugas and planets... also in the spiritual world... krsna reads vedas and go to sandipani muni, he's not happy only to find chatya guru, param guru in the books

Nectar Of Devotion by Srila Prabhupada ..... the most accurate description of sri krsna

if brahmana or sanyasi cannot encourage people to fght adhamis and asuras (as a policeman or a soldier fight single asuras who are criminals, not the nations or religions they belong to) if brahmanas cannot identify who is enemy to vaishnavism (the enemy of vaishnavism is our false ego, the identification with a land or a "religion" is false ego) it becomes duty of each person to fight (ksatrya... only ksatrya fight) and aatataayis must be killed, (kindly kill me... i am a big sinner, born mleccha, ex meat eater..) now, which ideology you would support? (no ideology... i am trying to support harinama samkirtana) so, what practical solution you propose for it? (i propose to increase hare krsna chanting, in this way everything will be more pure and efficient, also governments, police, armies and so on... also there will be no poverty so the poor people of palestine, afghanistan, pakistan and so on will be less subject to be cheated by fanatical leaders like bin laden or so) a vaishnava (brahmana, ksatrya, vaisha, shudra, brahmacharia, grihasta, vanaprasta, sannyasa) judge and relationate on personal basis..

" krishna in gita clearly says arjun to fight" he followed his spiritual master my spiritual master and srila prabhupada say to me to chant hare krsna and abandone any material and sectarian concept in spirituality and religion if you have this attitude to fight against criminals (muslim, hindu, white, black, italian , indian....) there's nothing bad, go in police or army..... brahmanas or aspiring brahmanas will continue to peacefully chant and and spread harekrsna mantra everyone has his dharma... arjuna is not a sannyasi.......... a gaudya vaishnava is not to be forced to became a ksatrya (the problem is criminals, not hindu criminals or muslim criminals...)

Gaudya Madhva Vaishnava Sampradaya is a brahminic school if anyone wants to fight or to learn fighting there are army and police where's the problem? if you have this attitude go and fight legally, why mix brahmana with ksatrya?
