These two great personalities [Svarūpa Dāmodara and Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī] recorded the activities of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu moment by moment. They described these activities briefly as well as elaborately in their notebooks.

In those days, Svarūpa Dāmodara and Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī lived with Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, whereas all other commentators lived far away from Him.

Svarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī and Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī recorded all these transcendental activities of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu in their notebooks.

How can one describe unfathomable subject matters? It is possible only if Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu gives him the capability.

Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu's emotion of transcendental madness in separation from Kṛṣṇa is very deep and mysterious. Even though one is very advanced and learned, he cannot understand it.

All glories to Svarūpa Dāmodara and all the other devotees, headed by Śrīvāsa Ṭhākura! Please give me the strength to describe the character of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.

All glories to Lord Nityānanda, who is Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu's very life! And all glories to Advaita Ācārya, who is extremely dear to Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu!

All glories to Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, the Supreme Personality of Godhead! All glories to Lord Gauracandra, the life and soul of His devotees!

I shall now describe a very small portion of the activities performed by Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu with His mind, intelligence and body when He was bewildered by strong feelings of separation from Kṛṣṇa.

If you would have had a Jew running around Thompkins Square Park in 1965 claiming to be the ONLY son of God and the saviour of all mankind, he probably would have gotten mugged, stabbed and laughed at by the hippies. The results would have been even less than the 12 misfits Jesus had following him around sheep country.

Preaching tactics. His is idea was to get Christians to understand Krishna, not to get devotees whining about Jesus. I understand Krishna, that is how I understand Jesus is a fable with some almost spiritual parables. Srila Prabhupada made all kinds of remarks in his preaching. Some of them were just preaching tactics and NOT actual history or siddhanta. The Jesus thing was just a preaching tactic that is not based on shastric evidence. Mahaprabhu told a list of Shaktyavesha avatars to Sanatan Goswami. Jesus was not on the list. Jesus came 1000 years before Mahaprabhu, so if Jesus was a real shaktyavesha avatar Mahaprabhu would have known about it. Jesus didn't make the list of legitimate shaktyavesha avatars. The claim that Jesus was shaktyavesha avatar was a preaching tactic. It wasn't an actual fact.

Put your glasses on and read it again.

Whoopee.... he made twelve disciples. The Jesus cult wasn't spread around the world by Jesus. The Jesus cult spread around the world on the strength of Roman and British empires. Jesus didn't accomplish much himself. He managed to scrounge up a dozen misfits to follow him around until he got caught and nailed on a cross. Any ISKCON guru has more followers than Jesus managed to make himself.

In the Bible there is first a man. But, apparently the man has no soul. So, God blows in his face and gives the man a soul. That is not any proper concept of how the soul takes on a body.

Names of small-time tribal gods will not help anybody. Chanting the name of the biblical god will not help because the biblical god is not the supreme God. The name must be a transcendental name of the Supreme God. Just any old name of tribal gods is useless to chant.

That says that the body became a soul. That is a very confused concept of the soul. The man doesn't become a soul. The soul becomes a man.

I have met rickshaw wallas in India that knew more about God than Jesus did. Jesus? A new bhakta at an ISKCON temple can tell you more about God than Jesus could. Jesus was nobody. Any ISKCON guru is millions of times more advanced than Jesus. Jesus was a small-timer. Jesus can't save anybody because he can't teach anybody to chant Hare Krishna.

Because I don't believe in the Jesus fairlytale? Jesus can't help anybody. There is only one way to deliverance in this age and it ain't whining about Jesus.

I didn't delete that post. I stand by my words. The moderator deleted it. Jesus is a myth to me. The only historian that has any record of Jesus was some goof named Josephus. I ain't gonna buy the Jesus myth because some old goof named Josephus mentioned some Yeshua in his history book. Yeshuas were a dime a dozen back then just like Bill or Steve is a common name today. Jesus only appears in the gospels. He is not found in any genuine history from the middle-east.

I don't hate Jesus or Christians. What bothers me is when these Jesus Krishnas manufacture some false concoction of Christianity and Vaishnavism by taking a couple of sentences of Srila Prabhupada and creating a hybrid religion out of it by trying to Christianize the Krishna consciousness philosophy. That is what bothers me, when devotees mix together their Jesus sentiments with Krishna consciousness as if Srila Prabhupada came to give some hybrid mixture of Jesus and Krishna. Quite honestly, it aggravates the hell out of me. The one thing that Srila Prabhupada hated the most was when devotees concoct or manufacture their own hybrid philosophies by mixing together different religious ideas. I hate it when devotees try to mix Jesus with Krishna conciousness just because Srila Prabhupada made some statement about Jesus being some sort of incarnation of something. This mixing business was not what Srila Prabhupada intended when he gave some recognition to the so-called Jesus as being some kind of incarnation. He simply wanted to avoid a war with the Christian world. He didn't want to mix Jesus in with Krishna consciousness.

That is a nifty little theory on your part, but even if you are correct I doubt that it will really matter to those who need to understand it - the Christians. I also doubt that it will help them to give up eating meat and take to the chanting of the Holy Name which is the only hope for anyone in this age of Kali-yuga.

The Jesus cult is a warm and fuzzy feel-good faith that unfortunately does not comply with the Vedic or the Vaishnava conclusions about the authorized religious process for the age of Kali-yuga. By all shastric conclusions the Jesus cult does not conform to the authorized process of deliverance for the age of Kali-yuga. As such, the warm and fuzzy feel-good faith might give people a sense of righteousness or religiousness, but such a religious system does not conform to the Yuga Dharma as described in authorized Vedic literatures.

What part of NO OTHER WAY do the Jesus lovers not understand?

Blame the source not the messenger. Jesus can't help anyone. There is no other way except chanting Hare Krishna.
