Namaste Deepaji, I use JHora which I recently downloaded from the website. Earlier I was using 7.02 version but recently as recommended by Shashikaranji, I downloaded the version 7.2 which has no doubt additional features. Namaste Deepaji, If it turns retro as far as I know it should enter Sagitarrius and not Aquarius. It enters Aquarius and then again comes back to Capricorn from I think August onwards. Regards/ Coolgimmy

Namaskar all, I am confused about the duration of Jupiter's stay in one sign. As per the informations available, jupiter stays approx one year in one sign. But how come it goes to Aquarius from May 2009 after entering Capricorn from Dec 2008? Is it some software problem or some thing else? With due regards Coolgimmy

Namaskar, I am curious to know about study of past life from the astrological charts. I read somewhere that Navamsha reflects some information about past life. Namaskar, I too have a question of the Nodes. On the net I get different solutions for the sign ruled by them, the exaltation signs and the mool-trikona. Some sites say that Rahu is exalted in Gemini and some say its Taurus.Even Virgo is also considered. What are the exact signs ruled by the nodes and what are their exaltation and mool-trikona signs? What kind of results will Rahu give when in Gemini under two different conditions 1. When in Kendras like 1,4,7,10 and in dushtana 6,8,12. If benefic in own house or exaltation has higher benefic effects, and in debiliation loses its benefic effects is it not that the malefic in own house or exaltation has more maleific powers and in debiliation loses its maleific powers? If there are two enemy maleifics opposing each other in their own signs or exaltation like Rahu and Mars will their effects sum down to zero? Regards/ Coolgimmy

If I enter the following Birth details of my friend, 26,August, 1984, 6.15AM Jamnagar, it shows birth time as Saturday, but the week day is Sunday. Namaste Rajshekharji, Since you have used multiple softwares, which is more accurate in terms of timing. For eg. related to degrees travelled by the planet in a certain sign. Do they vary from one software to another? How do we ascertain the degrees travelled by a planet in a particular sign and compare the calculations with software? Namaste Deepaji, Thanks for answering me on the calculation of the Arudha lagan. It would help me if you can give the link of the site of Shri.PVR Narsimha Rao where the rules are mentioned for exceptional cases. I brought out this point of the bug, because when I entered a friend of mine in the edit data to flash the charts the basics window showed she was born on Saturday instead of Sunday while the PC calendar and panchang shows Sunday. Namaste Shashikaranji, I was looking forward for theoritical calculation as I am already using JHORA software. There are some bugs in the software and for eg if you enter following DOB, 11,April,1981 12.25PM, Valsad, and calculate AL using software and by theory, the results are different. The AL in rashi chart using software falls in 4th house, while counting the houses it falls in the 7th house. Please let me know if I am mistaken regarding the theory behind the calculation like before. Regards/ Coolgimmy

Namaskar, I am currently using software to flash the rashi and divisional charts. But I found some bugs in the software that I am using and therefore would like to know how to manually calculate the divisional charts on the basis of degrees of planets travelled in the rashi. I could get the placements for Drekanna and Navamsha from the net, but not for other divisional charts and reverse calculation of the same from software did not help me either as it gave contradictory results. Why is 3.20 for each sign considered for calculating Navamsha when 30/9 comes to 3.33? Same way for Saptamsha 4.17 when 30/7 is 4.28? If a planet is exactly on 3.20deg which house in the Namasha chart should be considered for planet placement, the first or the second. I am making an XLS file and your replies will help me prepare a ready reckoner to place a planet in the divisional chart. Regards/ Coolgimmy

Respected all astrologers, The lady got married in the year Dec 2002 and she got separated somewhere in 2005. Her date of birth is 12,July,1976, 4.47PM ,Mumbai. Her husband died in November 2007. The reason of death was depression due to which he turned alchoholic. What planets played a role of separation and eventually death of her husband ? She has a daughter out of her first marriage. Namaste Shashikaranji, I have some questions on the sthira karakas. I read in one of the sites that 64th Navamsha technique is used to predict certain events during transits pertaining to relations based on the sthirakarakas. The 4th house in the navamsha is the 64th navamsha for self. For every other relation do we see the 4th house from the sthirakaraka occupied in the navamsha or there is some other method as well? Namaste Shashikaranji, Heres an another chart of my cousin, the daughter of the relative who lost her husband, about whom I have mentioned under this topic. She lost her husband on 6th Sept 1993. Her daughter DOB 10.12DEC.1963, 13.35PM, Bhadrakh. She also has Jupiter in lagna, sun in 9th house, Jupiter is pitrukaraka in her chart and thats in pisces. The relevant details of the child born to my sister has the following birth details. 28.March.2005, 4.30AM, Mumbai. How are the sthirakarakas defined for different relatives? Regards/ Coolgimmy

Namaste Mr.Shashikaran and Mr.Rao, I am somewhat clear about the concept of charakarakas. But I dont know the difference between naisargika karakas and sthira karakas. Are they both the same? I was watching the gem stone programme in one of the TV channels recentl,they specifically mentioned about Leo lagna having Jupiter in 5th and mentioned about this subject about wearing pokhraj as fifth house jupiter is not good for them. I dont know what category they were referring as such. I have one chart of a relative of mine and my sister's husband chart. The date of birth of my relative is 6,July,1945, Bhadrakh, 7.15PM, and the other chart is 3rd,Jan, 1962, 10.35PM, Mumbai. In the first case her husband died and in the second case he had lots of problems having progeny and had it very late using IVF. In the earlier case the charadarakaraka which venus is in her own house with exalted moon which is also the seventh lord. Respected all astrologers I have some queries on the above topic. I read in one of the website that Sun in Lagna is bad for marriage and one becomes Widower/Widow. But what would be the result if sun is in leo in lagna and its chara darakaraka as well. Does the karaka bhava nasha apply to naisargika darakaraka or only to charadarakaraka or both. In the discussion at one point of time you have if Atmakaraka is bad in Navamsha then the person will suffer due to spouse or if its bad in Saptamsha then due to children. Please refer the chart of my colleague a lady whose DOB, 26,August, 1984, 6:15AM, Jamnagar. If the Navamsha is considered then, Atmakaraka is in 8th house, while in Saptamsha it is in Maranakaraka sthana. Her moon is weak and aspected by saturn in Rashi, cojoined with saturn and rahu in Navamsha and with debiliated Mars in Saptamsha. Will she too have spouse and/or problems related to children due to Atmakaraka or Moon? How do you see her life in terms of marriage and progeny? Regards/ Coolgimmy

Namaste, My nephew whose DOB is 2nd, October, 1994, 9.30PM, Vadodara is not interested in studies at all. He is in 9th std and his parents have tried all the ways and means to make him study. The only thing he says is he is not interested. Will his studies improve or his parents have to always push him to study all the time. Namaste all, As per rules Mangal dosh is not effective when Mangal is in his own house. Please see the chart of my mother whose DOB is 6,July 1945,7.15PM, Bhadrakh and my father whose DOB is 14,September, 1936, 7.40AM,Puri. My father died in September,1993. Was my mom's mangal dosh responsible for this? My mother was already told before her marriage by some astrologer that she will lose her husband during during later part of her life. Namaskar Shashikaranji, The astrologer who made the horoscope made it according to 28th instead of 27th because as per him the second day is after 4.00AM. The time for the IVF procedure is around 11.00AM but may be it should be with mins tolerance. She had natural conception before the artificial one but not after the daughter was born even though they tried. As per her horoscope how many children are there? Regards/ Coolgimmy

Namaskar Shashikaranji, I will get all the timings as from her medical reports. I have some questions on her chart.I use free JHora to cast charts and in my sister case Jupiter is in 5th house. Did it not help to some extent in natural pregnancy? What are the bad houses for moon where such case arises? Saturn also aspects moon in the rashi chart from 2nd house? What would happen if Moon is not debiliated but joined with debiliated planets in rashi or navamsha?Was that the reason of delay to take decision, as doctor had already told them to go for IVF two years after her marriage but they wanted natural way.
