1. Hare Krishna I have been 'kind of' studying about how individuals act when they are lying, I have seen the way scientists act/react to questions, seems to me when asked about Mars space programme they all seem to urm Lie..maybe? (hope you like my new signature, it took me ages to get it right!)
2. http://caitanyacaritamrta.com/adi/17/ CC Adi-lila: 17.22 "In this Age of Kali, the holy name of the Lord, the Hare Krsna maha-mantra, is the incarnation of Lord Krsna. Simply by chanting the holy name, one associates with the Lord directly. Anyone who does this is certainly delivered. Trinad api sunicena

I am being cautious at what I read, and not judging straight away, I haven't got a pure mind that I may know in an instance what is right/wrong, I rely on kind devotees to advice me, His Divine Grace said everything is there in my books, which devotees seem to quote as some sort of, don't ask my questions right now, just read, knowing well Prabhupada established Iskcon so ppls could associate with devotees.
6. if you cannot find anybody, almost everybody in India can read Hindi, they would relish this gift!
7. I read this story breify, something to do with humility, we can learn even from an incect, so we should listen more carefully when critisized by somebody, and not just suddenly jump to conclutions that they are against us, breath deeply think, control the dreaded anger, and see whats to be done, tried it myself works a charm lol/
8. Hare Krishna I have the 1st edidion Gita and the equally lovely 2nd edition, though the english translations differ, so how do I preach the English translation, god almighty, could Iskcon just have 1 edition out and stick to it, can't be that difficult can it/
9. jaya! I should've explained what i was meaning, I didn't mean like Lord KRSNA has gave me a test (i probably missed it anyway lol), I guess KRSNA just wants us to rely on Him more, or me on Him, so things can be made more easy, make sense?
10. Even though i do not know a lot about Sridhara Swami, I still hav tears in my eyes at the thought that another pure Vaishnava devotee has left this world. all glories to devotees of sri radha-krsna
11. If your chanting sincerely, KRSNA will send you Guru/ Ps. Don't be asking KRSNA for Guru, ask Nitai-Gauranga/ They are more merciful. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
12. 'I am just repeating what I have learnt from by Guru Maharaja'. -- From this you can see we should merly think of ourselves as intruments in Guru & Gaurangas service, like parrots, just present the philosophy in a 'as it is' bona-fide way, simply. Like guestji before said leave the rest to KRSNA. Mmmmm I wonder how we can get to this stage of humbleness. Dervish Prabhu: 'sincere dedication to seva'
13. My Made-uP JoKes: A person is chanting hare-krishna, and he has the memory of a fish (approx 3 seconds), so he has to chant really fast. == A hare-krishna on a train, spots a girrafe in an airplane, the devotee was last seen chanting 64 rounds a day. == How many devotees does it take to change a light-bulb? answers on a postcard to Goloka Vrindavana. == /images/graemlins/smile.gif
14. I can associate with Prabhupada through sound vibration, Lectures/kirtans, is that ok? And of-cource personal association, here is my e-mail: mercyofkrsna@aol.com Devotees can send me encouragement, and praise lol/
15. I asked a devotee about this he said like we should be as post men delivering letters, we do it nicly in a bona-fide way, we don't deviate 'as it is', I thought this was nice.
16. From my incessant posting on Harinama, I have stopped chanting for a while (ahhh) SHUT UP!, so I am starting again, all this searching and posting has helped me, and e-mail association with devotees, so here I go with Bhajan/Kirtan/reading etc, don't worry your heads, I still be posting, just wanted to make it clear, that all this reading about Krishna and association here, has made have FAITH again, thx a lot! Now i gotto do 16 rounds everyday, I am soooooooooooooooo HAPPY. JAIIII
17. don't look for it either, lets talk about krishna.. sai 'afro' baba gets too much air time.
18. Hare Krishna Just thought I would share this Nectar: http://www.prabhupadavani.org/Bhagavatam/text/090.html Read/Listen! Just an excerpt to get a taste of entire lecture: Actually, this transcendental name of Krsna, or God, can be chanted in liberated stage. Therefore we prescribe, while chanting, there are three stages. The offensive stage, liberated stage, and actually on the platform of love of Godhead stage. That is the perfectional stage by chanting. In the beginning we chant in offensive stage -- the ten kinds of offenses. But that does not mean that we shall not chant. Even there are offenses, we shall go on chanting. That chanting will help me to get out of all offenses. Of course, we must take care that we may not commit offenses. Therefore this list of ten kinds of offenses are given. We should try to avoid. And as soon as it is offenseless chanting, then it is liberated stage. That is liberated stage. And after liberated stage, the chanting will be so pleasing because that is on the transcendental platform that actual love of Krsna and God will be relished. But the same thing... The chanting... In the offensive stage, the chanting, and the liberated stage is chanting... But in the mature stage... Just like Rupa Gosvami, he used to say that "What shall I chant with one tongue and what shall I hear with two ears? If millions of ears I had, if millions of tongue I had, then I could chant and hear." Because they are in liberated stage. But we should not be dejected for that purpose. We should continue with perseverance. Utsahad dhairyat. Utsahat means with enthusiasm, and dhairyat, dhairyat means perseverance, patience. Utsahat. Niscayat. Niscayat means with firm determination: "Yes, I have begun chanting. Maybe there are offenses, but if I continue, Krsna will be pleased to place me on the transcendental platform when I shall relish what is this chanting Hare Krsna." Just like Visvanatha Cakravarti has given that the mango in the ripe stage and unripe stage. Unripe stage, it is bitter, but the same mango, when it is fully ripe, it is sweet, the sweetness. We shall have to wait for this stage, and we shall have to be careful that we may not commit offenses. Then we, surely, we shall come. Just like a diseased patient, if he follows the regulations given by the physician and takes the medicine, then surely he'll be cured.
19. A thousand thxs for this post, I can actaully feel myself trying to be a Guru, and I was discusted with myself, I do not know yet, what it is to preach, (maybe I'm being a little too truthful), anyway, as Babhru Das Prabhuji says.. Yours in service.
20. Srimad-Bhagavatam 1.8.18, New York, April 10, 1973 Tvayi me ananya-visaya. "No more attraction for anything else. Only attraction for You, Krsna." So this is wanted. This is perfection. Tvayi me ananya-visaya. Ananya-visaya. No more attraction for anything else. Only attraction for You, Krsna. So this is wanted. This is perfection. Tvayi me ananya-visaya. Ananya-visaya means ananya-bhakti, without any deviation. Twenty-four hours simply attachment for Krsna. That is wanted. Then your renouncement is perfect. If you think that this attachment and that attachment both may be made-no. That cannot go. That will be nice, not nice. Just like you ignite fire, at the same time pour water on it.
21. Sri Sri Siksastaka by Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu instructed His disciples to write books on the science of Krsna, a task which His followers have continued to carry out down to the present day. The elaborations and expositions on the philosophy taught by Lord Caitanya are, in fact, the most voluminous, exacting, and consistent, due to the system of disciplic succession. Although Lord Caitanya was widely renowned as a scholar in His youth, He left only eight verses, called Siksastaka. These eight verses clearly reveal His mission and precepts. These supremely valuable prayers are translated herein. verse 2 of 8 namnam akari bahudha nija-sarva-saktis tatrarpita niyamitah smarane na kala etadrsi tava krpa bhagavan mamapi durdaivam idrsam ihajani nanuragah O my Lord, Your holy name alone can render all benediction to living beings, and thus You have hundreds and millions of names, like Krsna and Govinda. In these transcendental names You have invested all Your transcendental energies. There are not even hard and fast rules for chanting these names. O my Lord, out of kindness You enable us to easily approach You by Your holy names, but I am so unfortunate that I have no attraction for them. ==============
