i joined the catholic charismatic movement in our locale 23 years ago because i found the sermons of priests at the pulpit inside churches boring. i wanted to be spiritually re-energized. i had no knowledge of bhakti-yoga. never even saw the face of my guru. to further my spiritual advancement, i decided to write and contribute to a news outlet my spiritual views. then all of the sudden, appeared my childhood friend in front of my view sharing to me his own spiritual views at the same time showing to me a leaflet about reincarnation and karma. not satisfied by this, he lent me his 64 volumes of srimad bhagavatam. and the rest was history.

If we can still remember the Lord`s name right before we die is in itself a verifiable evidence of success in spiritual life. A million thanks, my dear stonehearted, for letting me remember my Guru( His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada).

Of course, Krsnah doesn`t need a doctor to heal Himself. That`s a given. But I do If I get sick. Similarly, Lord Caitanya doesn`t need anyone to teach Him the Vedas because He himself authored the Vedas through Vyasadeva. & yet the Lord accepted one who could teach and explain to Him her essence and mysteries. Lord Dhanvantari is a mystery to me. Just as Srimati Radharani still remains a mystery to Krsnah. We can`t use logic here as the means to justify the end started by Gokulkr.

I think this is the 3rd or 4th time we talked this way. Once the ball starts rolling, it really goes rolling hitting some tinpins. My favorite indoor sport is bowling. Maybe someday we get to meet and start hitting the tinpins by rolling these weigh calibrated balls on the center lane. Well, I do hope so. It`s getting late. It`s 2:20 am here. And I wonder why I`m not yet so sleepy. If I can`t anymore reply it means my spirit self have already taken that first early morning ride to dreamland.

Sant, my friend, I get less money because most of the taxes the gov`t get from my salary goes to the pockets of corrupt gov`t officials. Even if I get less pay at least I`m happy to have met the wonderful flute player of Vrndavan. That`s my only consolation. He considers me His friend. What more could I ask from the Lord? CPDRC stands for Cebu Provincial Rehabilitation and Detention Center.

No. I`m not joking. While I`m writing this reply I have been re-rewinding The danceable song Jai Ho performed by the CPDRC inmates. And my body is moving to the rythm of the song`s remarkable melody. I wont argue with you if Slum Dog Millionaire is not even an India movie. But the majority of the people here can relate to this Jai Ho movie .It`s because most of them live in the slums, squatter areas just like in the Jai Ho movie we saw. Majority of us Visayans here are poor. As the gov`t physician of CPDRC do you know how much I earn per month? Why its only roughly USD 400 (20 thousand pesos).

Would you like Sant to dance with me this song Jai Ho together? Me here and you there? Both of us watching and dancing simultaneously with these CPDRC inmates on http://youtube.com/watch?v=uTMUZ39UHgo? You can feel the joy and ecstasy building up inside you as the music Jai Ho begins to rise up to its final ending(Of course you should also watch the Best Motion Picture of the Year, Slum Dog Millionaire). Latika is Radha. Jamal is Krsnah and Salim is Balarama in the material world. That`s the reason why the movie has this universal appeal on the masses. Even the people here in Cebu City have started to open their world maps and history books to find out where India is located and the ancient culture she has embraced. Once they start to get interested in Hinduism and Krsnah then that`s real spiritual success. And all because of what these CPDRC inmates have shown to the world that they ,too,could also( even if they are the most despised) sing and dance of what is culturally Hindu. 90 percent of us here in Cebu are Catholics. To think that it was here in Cebu ( they call us folks Visaya, a sanskrit word for a person who loves to engage himself in alcoholic intoxication, gambling, and illicit sex) Christianity in all of Asia was born.

Oh Lord just see how your devotees become ecstatic when they dance your famous movie soundtrack (Slam Dog Millionaire) number Jai HO. See( ) how these CPDRC inmates just love to dance it coming all the way from India to Cebu City, Philippines. They don`t even understand the meaning of the song`s lyrics and yet they sing and dance it would joy and laughter .

This is the 1st recorded spiritual success among those who have performed and watched it. Imagine 4 minutes and 40 seconds of dancing the song Jai Ho from the Best Motion Picture of the Year( Slum Dog Millionaire)which I predicted to win the Oscar award. See how ecstatic these CPDRC inmates are when they dance this number( )

This is where I work from monday to friday maintaining the health and well-being of 1500 inmates accused of crimes from rape to murder. Of course not all of them are well enough to dance. These are the inmates with hypertension, disabilties, the 50 year old and up, those whom we isolated and confirmed to be ill with pulmonary tuberculosis( now undergoing the 6 months course anti-TB chemotherapy).

I will allow ritviks to post on this thread. Whether they be six handed or two handed. Multiheads are also free to do so. Lord Caitanya is the shelter of all so why should we not allow them to dish out a sad refrain.

There are spiritual discussion forums for religious debate and there are also religious forums of this nature that are not. This thread I created is for those who want to debate on the subject matter. You see a kindergarten class becomes a church not a classroom if there are no loud noises of children shouting , screaming and running around while the teacher is telling them to listen and shut up..

This is the View: Krsnah sometimes get upset because He doesn`t have the moods enjoyed by Srimati Radharani, Lalita and Visakha. He knows the rasa( the taste that He experiences) in Himself and yet how come He doesn`t know the rasa in Srimati Radharani? Krsnah knows that He can taste as the enjoyer and yet He Himself doesn`t know what is tasted by the enjoyed. To do so, He came back to planet earth (on February 18, 1486 during a lunar eclipse in the town of Nadia, Mayapur, India) from the spiritual sky (this time) in the form of Lord Caitanya.

The fact is that both Krsnah and Lord Caitanya are the original Personality of Godhead. No one should try to eliminate Lord Caitanya from Sri Krsnah. In His form of Sri Krsnah, He is the supreme enjoyer, and His form of Lord Caitanya, He is the supreme enjoyed.No one can be more attractive than Sri krsnah, and but for Sri Krsnah, no one can enjoy the supreme form of devotion, Srimati Radharani. " Please rest assured that I have nothing to hide from you, " Lord Caitanya told Ramananda. " Even if I do try to hide from you, you are such an advanced devotee that you can understand all My secrets. I request that you please keep this secret and do not disclose it to anyone. If it were revealed, everyone would consider Me a madman. The fact which I have disclosed to you can not be understood by materialistic people. When they hear of this, they will simply laugh at Me. You can understand this yourself and keep it to yourself. From a materialistic point of view, a devotee becomes mad in his ecstasy of love for Krsnah. Both you and I are just like madmen. So, please don`t disclose these facts to ordinary men. If you do, they will surely laugh at Me." Lord Caitanya then passed ten nights with Ramananda Raya, enjoyed his company and discussed the pastimes of Krsnah and Radha. This discussions between them were on the highest level of love for Krsnah.

" It is the nature of highly elevated devotees to see Krsnah in everything, " Lord Caitanya replied. " Whenever they see anything, they do not see the form of that particular thing. They see Krsnah. You have the highest conception of the pastimes of Radha and Krsnah, " Lord Caitanya continued. " Therefore you are seeing Radha and Krsnah everywhere." Ramananda replied: " I request that You not try to hide Yourself. I understand that You have accepted the complexion and mode of thinking of Srimati Radharani and that You are trying to understand Yourself from the point of view of Radharani. You have advented Yourself to take this point of view. Although You incarnate mainly to understand Your own self, You are at the same time distributing love of Krsnah to the world. Now You have personally come here to deliver me. Please don`t try to deceive me, I beg You. It is not good for You." Being very satisfied, Lord Caitanya smiled and showed Ramananda Raya His real form as the combination of Radha and Krsnah. Thus Lord Caitanya was Sri Krsnah Himself with the external features of Srimati Radharani. His transcendental ability to become two and then to become one again was revealed to Ramananda Raya. Upon seeing this unique feature of Lord Caitanya, Ramamanda fainted and fell on the floor. Lord Caitanya then touched him, and he came to his senses. Ramananda Raya was then surprised to see Lord Caitanya again in His mendicant dress. " Because you have understood the purpose of My incarnation, you are privileged to have seen this particular feature of My personality, " the Lord said. " My dear Ramananda, I am not a different person with a fair complexion known as Gaurapurusa. I am the the self same Krsna, the son of Nanda Maharaja and due to contact with the body of Srimati Radharani I have now assumed this form. Srimati Radharani does not touch anyone but Krsnah; therefore She has influenced me with her complexion, mind and words. In this way I am just trying to understand the transcendental flavor of Her relationship with Krsnah."

In Brahma-samhita it is stated that the workings of the supremely powerful superintendent, Durga, are but shadowy indications of the workings of the Supreme Lord. The sun works just like the eye of the Supreme Lord, and Brahma works just as the reflected light of the Supreme Lord. Does this mean there are actually two suns not one if the sun works just like the eye of the Supreme Lord?

Yup! that`s the right formula. Conscious chaos as the Holy Spirit is more specific, I guess.

Ramananda Raya quoted a verse from Srimad Bhagavatam(10.8.46) wherein Maharaja Pariksit inquired from Sukadeva Goswami about the magnitude of righteous activity performed by Yasoda, the mother of Krsnah, enabling her to be called " mother" and her breasts be sucked by the Supreme Personality of Godhead. He also quoted another verse from Srimad Bhagavatam( 10.9.20) in which it is stated that Yasoda received such incomparable mercy from the Supreme Personality of Godhead that it can not even be compared to the mercy received by Brahma, the first created living being, or by Lord Siva, or even by the goddess of fortune, Laksmi, who is always situated on the chest of Lord Visnu. By the way, the first word a child utters when he is born into this world is not "Maa!" but " Uhaa!"

Hmmm. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Father is Brahma, The Son is Siva and the Holy Spirit is the Paramatma Hiranyagarbha Visnu.

When there`s no pain there`s no gain to quote Arnold Schwarzenegger. If someone wishes you bad, feel good. If someone wishes you good, don`t feel bad. Yes, it`s true. My deceased grandfather didn`t want me to get intimately involved with a girl who was an asthmatic because if I get to marry her, our children would inherit her ailment. I felt bad about it and quarreled with him even if my deceased grandfather wished me good. So before he died( we were not in good terms), he left his inheritance( parcels of land) to my first cousins.
