gHari 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2006 The audience even clapped along nicely. They placed 20th, but I give them GOLD. The dot on her foreheaqd, his shirt and the dance stylings are all India divine. The look in her eyes as the music begins is so elegant. "Govindam adi-purusam". Hundreds of thousands in their country have now heard these enchanting words of Lord Brahma. It is a wonderful thing.
Pankaja_Dasa 1 Report post Posted February 25, 2006 Grebenkina and Azroyan? I don't want to say this but when I saw it I thought that women is a nice blond looking girl. Then when I heard that Govindam Prayers. I lost my attraction for her. It was surreal.
Guest guest Report post Posted February 25, 2006 Armenian (as in, from Armenia). It was cool to hear the audience clapping along. I wonder how many folks really saw this, since they're neither American nor medal contenders. I doubt NBC aired this (alas!), but I'd guess it was seen around Europe, especially in Armenia. And I thought they were pretty good.
Pankaja_Dasa 1 Report post Posted February 25, 2006 I read it wrong. It was nice anyway. When that music turned from Govindam Prayers to Material Music, it was like a shift in consciousness.
