An indian frein told me that mars is called son of earth in hinduism? Am i right? which is quite interesting as 'opportunity' just indicated water there. Whats the position of mars in indian scriptures perticulary olderones like vedas?

an interesting piece of knowledge regarding life on other planets is the search for the origin of life. scientifically.

 

the universe as u know is very huge...beyond imagination. man has always tried to decipher the focus of origin for life.

 

in 1940s an american student in usa proved that life could have originated on earth from a " chemical soup'" giving rise to amino acids ...the basic building blocks of life.

 

for decades this view was believed until recently experiments conducted by an indian scientist in collaboration with usa with balloons proved that the load of organic bacteria INCREASED as we went away from the earth...indicating the earth being bombarded by life from outer space.

 

called the theory of panspermia...it postulates that life orginates in certain pockets of space conducive for organic evolution and the precursors of such are carried by comets and meteors to various planets all over the universe...ala a sperm fertilizing an egg...PANSPERMIA.

 

this theory thus is conducive for hindu precept of " vasudeva kutumbahm" ( the family of krishna ) spread across the face of the universe.

 

though life in other planets may not be identical to what we see on earth ( they can be living liquids or gases....beings that talk once in a blue moon to beings that talk in a nanosecond) it still indicates a certain focus of common origin for all beings. a common womb so as to say.

 

the hindu scriptures talk of such a GREAT TRIANGLE...called ....THE BRAHMA YONI. the womb of brahma.

 

this triangle of light is seen to produce millions and millions of worlds laden with life every moment.

 

it is said to be perceived in deep meditation. so it is not surprising for us to search for life and find it in other planets...coz everything is really vasudeva kutumbham.

 

about mars...an interesting piece of theory is that we are all martian bacteria that bombarded the earth billions of years ago and evolved to present state due to a conducive atmosphere.

Don't get cheated by the government information. They did not set foot on the moon because if they did then why did they stop going there? A common aspect among politicians and military men is that they are greedy, and especially due to the influence of this age, the greediness increases. Thus, if they really did go to the moon, im sure they wouldn't have stopped going there to exploit its resources. Also, Srila Prabhupada has stated in the Bhagavatam, the moon planet is farther away from the sun. If you dont want to take Srila Prabhupada's words, then please tell me what evidence you have got to prove that they have went to the moon?

How can the moon be further away??? when its scientificly proven that moon is the nearest planet to us. A robot have already landed on Mars which is further than Moon, So man have landed on the moon. Photos are taken.

Some body here asked that Mars is son of the earth.It's true from vedas.A lot of history behind it.But it is war lord and it's mainly concentrate on human body.The people of mars ruler are mainly in defence departments.

In this year tarana here is mimister and he has 2 administrative capabiliies in this year for mars according to astrology.In the next parthiva there will great conflicts around the world(kuja mars is the ruler) onwards there is kalasarpa dosha around the world which results great world chaos and deaths.

But any body tell me what the origin of astrology?

There are some clues in puranas asto how to understand myths like this. They say that the present Manvanthra is born to Sun and the next Manvanthra will be born to Sun and his wife Chaaya. If Chaaya is the shadow binary of Sun, there is scope to believe that this binary will collide or come dangerously closer asto disturb the present planetary system. The resultant system will have this earth still habitable with a new (altered or surviving) race of Manu. The further Manus also are described as being born to the son of the present Sun. If this is cosmologically true (possible anyway), there is scope to believe that the present sun will not have an uneventful end as a white dwarf but will become a 4th generation star upon regeneration!

 

Interpreting in a similar way, we can say that Mars is the son of earth if it had detached from the earth sometime in the past. If science can confirm this, what our texts have described is truly cosmological!!

ONLY possibility for this to happen could be during cooling period some ... 4 billion years ago, I think.
