I looked it up in some of the online dictionaries but it wasn't in them. I thought someone here might know the word. Maybe it's an offensive word? If it is, I apologize, I didnt know. Guest guest Posted June 29, 2003 Report Share Posted June 29, 2003 Hi In one of the songs of Thyagaraja, The word" Kamalaa" is used as water. I tried to find this meaning from Sanskrit dictinaries. I am unable to acess it. They tell me that Richard Mahoney's version states that the word "Kamalaa" was used in "Kirartarjuniam" as water. Can somebody help?
