Guest guest
Nice! I like that image...reminds me of all the cats and dogs chasing down cows and sheep (not). Yes, they are carnivores and omnivores (respectively), but no, their " natural " diet is not ungulates many times their size. Guest guest
actually, that show really bugs me... besides the fact he goes around and relishes killing things, his "survival" techniques leave a lot to be desired in one show, he jumped into a raging river to float downstream...and then we got on land, he curled up under a rock in his soaking wet clothes to go to sleep ummm...#1 rule right there..never relax/rest when you are in wet clothes when you are lost.. hypothermia..... good way to get yourself killed Ron Sep 10, 2007 4:10 PM Re: more on "man the hunted" if you're interested insects have more protein for size than animal flesh, seen that on that new show "man vs. wild" I never thought about the universe, it made me feel small Never thought about the problems of this planet at all Global warming, radio-active sites Imperialistic wrongs and animal rights! Guest guest
[[p.s. insects are animals. Do you think they should be eaten? ]] No doubt about it, insects are animals, but we all eat them willy nilly. There is a certain percentage of meal worms and the like allowed in foods like oatmeal--there is no way to avoid it. I know that isn't the same thing as raising them and deliberately eating them, but we ought to admit we do eat some.
Guest guest
LOL.. they should do a vegan episode of " man vs. wild " .. Guest guest
They have similar programmes here I believe. Tony Blackburn, who is vegetarian, was on one, and he didn't succumb to eating any animals, whereas Uri Geller did, of course. As the blood type diet has been discredited there doesn't seem much point in keep mentioning it. Guest guest
The vegan mob? I know I've said this before, but I'm gonna say it again. I don't understand why people condemn those who oppose murdering animals. We're living a lifestyle that allows animals to go about their daily lives without interference from people. Shouldn't that be encouraged? Guest guest
" Do you feel you don't fit in with a vegan group? " answer: no, although the computer is quite limiting and misleading to know what one feels, I am only finding some limited stimulus by this means not much different than any other group. It is some new computer induced psychology that you can find at any site. I don't think diet has anything to do with it. I think humankind is still very primitive and ready to do battle at the drop of a hat. I really don't want to fight for the fight, I truly seek wisdom and good stimulating interaction. , " jo " <jo.heartwork wrote: > > Which vegan mob are you refering to?
