Zak did just that. But it was only a mini snowman because there was

not a lot sticking to the ground. :)

That is sad, and also sad that you associate the two as it means you cannot enjoy the weather. My mum died in February, on Valentine's day, or maybe she was buried on Valentines Day, but I dis-associate that from the enjoyment of the day. Your dad would most likely not have wished you to make the association a nasty one.

Re: Re: Is this a doughnut I see before me?

Its O.K. in small doses, my kids enjoy it. I spent too many winters carrying crates of milk when I was younger helping my father on the milk round., and it was in the winter that his heart gave out, while we were delivering milk in thick snow, carrying 2-3 crates each.So I guess I still have sad memories of winter....

That's what people who feel old before their time say :-) I was very sad when my brother suddenly didn't like snow - when he ws about 45. He had loved it all his life up until then. I know lots of people who like playing in snow, most of them very intelligent, intellectual people, so it is no good trying to denigrate us.

What you need to remember is that I speak English, not American-variant-English... and in English, a " kip " is a short sleep :-)

Hi Peter

>I suppose to most people over say 12 it gets a bit old after a while?

Nah - it only gets " old " to people who have got old themselves. Besides which, the last snowball fight I had was with around 40 people, none of which was under 25 and the oldest in his 60s.

Bah Humbug, and all that ;-)

Hi Fraggle

>earthquakes can happen anywhere my dear nikki

They can... but they are for more common around the so-called Ring of Fire, on which San Francisco does sit neatly on the edge, while Chicago is a couple of thousand miles from any major hot spot. FWIW, the majority of quakes in the past couple of weeks have centres around the Rat Island area....

Oh what useless knowledge my head is filled with! :-)

Ah - that's the worst sort of snow... you need the stuff that sticks to make a decent snowball - otherwise it just falls apart in the air... but at least there's someone out there who knows how to enjoy snow ;p

Hi Peter

The last snowball 'fight' I had was with you, but I remember building a few snowmen, and lots of walks just admiring the beauty of the snow on the trees etc.

This coming from someone who claims to know nothing about sport ;-)

First of all, I never said this, Fraggle did. So stop confusing us.

The Cubs do not suck!!!

Second, I never claimed to not know anything about sports. I know a

lot about some and a little about others and nothing about many. :)

What's confusing.... Fraggle said it, and Fraggle claims to know nothing about sport... you've never claimed to know nothing about sport... you're just confusing yourself and trying to drag me along with you ;-)

Exactly.... mind you, if you're this easy to confuse, I could have lots of fun ;-)

Actually it would be the part where you said " Hi Nikki " and then

followed with the statement of sports. Seemed directed to me with

the use of my name and the lack of Fraggle's name. :)

Sure, just keep using my name and then talk to someone else. That

would work! ;)
