Perhaps I should - some sort of tall hat with a plastic mask that acts as a

smoke extractor. Could even be made largely of tin foil :-)

That's a good point... so, some sort of transparent material would seem to

be the solution... and it could always be marketed as a safety feature to

avoid getting shot by the police :-)

Hi Peter

That could be a good idea - would it also alter the smoke to make it

transparent - I reckon the police would find a way to ignore any safety

measures :-)

People tend not to take their log fires into public venues and wave them under other people's noses!

Hi Louis

I think that the point with fire logs is that they do not purposely

have toxins loaded into them and are not sold that way.

Fire logs you buy in a store may have a warning on the label to be

careful, don't light by face, etc. They do not come with warnings

that they cause cancer, birth defects etc.

Tis a great arguement of others rights, but it goes down hill a bit

when you start using things like this in your defense.

I am not attacking you nor trying to argue with you. I smoke too,

tho I wish I did not and am taking steps to stop.

You have a right to do whatever you want to do, all they were saying

was just remember to be polite to others. Especially when you are

using a potentially deadly substance that others have chosen not to

use.

Nikki :)

Hi Louis

To be honest I am about done with this conversation.

I do find that shouting at others (caps lock), accusing someone you

do not know of being a smoker, and excessive use of punctuation

quite rude in a chat group.

No one was trying to take away your rights Louis. They were simply

trying to explain their point of view of why they do not wish to

breathe in others toxic smoke. And you seem to be getting quite

defensive about it.

My view is this, if you want to fight for your rights on anything,

you must also consider the rights of those around you.
