I don't think it's the lynx (but could be wrong). There is some kind

of wildcat in Scotland though.

that all depends

*invasive* species that harm the natural species of that eco-system, should be

removed ina cautious and well thought out manner...

the problem lies a ton in defining what is invasive and what isn't

opportunistic species have piggybacked all over the globe with humans...think of

everything from rats to houseflies to dandelions...

but..tryin to peg down exactly wot is invasive and wot isn't..ouch..not

something t o be taken lightly...

how about horses in the american west? they aren't technically native...they

came here with the europeans..but on the other paw, horses evolved here in north

america,...same with camels...they just died out thousands of years

ago..soo..when do they stop being native?

touchy subject that needs lotsa debate.....

but...things that obviously kill off native species should be relocated....

Re: Re: Two wrongs don't make a right!

How about removing introduced species that are taking over native species to

their detriment or demise?

what is the border like between wales and england?

is there a physical wall/gate there? do you need documents or Id

to cross over?

from what I see on the map it is just a line, so beavers

could go back and forth?

There is no border between England and Wales - we are just one tiddly

little island - I'm not sure why some people feel so divided.

I must say Peter - you are so insular - if you do not like English

Yes no physical border as such, we would welcome them here.

Why do you keep taking everything I say personally/literally, it is not meant with any nastyness, just maintaining a long running traditional gag.

As far as I know there are no vegan Welsh chat groups?, so until I am bannished into the ether wilderness, here I am, take me or leave me.

I have never considered myself insular, but I suppose I may be,its not for me to say. Do I offend you?, if so I whole heartedly apologise. I am flippant, and do like to get a reaction in people , but thats just me.Dont take it to heart.

We`ll keep a welcome in the hillsides, we`ll keep a welcome in the........

Hi Peter

As far as I am concerned you are welcome here - but you just always

seem to dislike England and English people. Whatever has happened

between England and Wales is not the fault of people like me - and I

do find some of your remarks offensive. I have never thought of

divisions between normal people, only governments, and I nor any of my

family have ever been in a government, and have never done anything

nasty to any Welsh people.

You mentioned borders and that you would welcome them (borders) in

Wales - you didn't qualify your sentence with the word 'beavers' - so

were you deliberately misleading me, or was it an accident? :-)
