All I own is a personal size blender (which hardly gets used these

days) a vadailia onion chopper (for pretty salsa style stuff) some

good knives (not expensive, I got mine at IKEA) a handmade wooden

cutting board (it's pretty too) a citrus/lemon reamer - handheld

thing, an apple corer/slicer thing and aaaaaaa - a few glasses,

plates, and bowls. I just got a couple sets of bamboo 'silver ware'

which are fun, I'm not quite used to the feeling yet. Oh I've had

bamboo chopsticks for ages --- oh and I'm planning to get maple salad

bowls for my birthday present to me next month!

I have a dehydrator for sale if anyone really wants one - why buy

new. It's not an excaliber, but it works just fine if you are

transitioning or living w/ non-raw folks who might try something... I

only used it maybe 5 times. contact me off post.

I used a juicer TWICE - and gave it away finally. I'd rather blend

or eat whole stuff.

OOPS --- my MAJOR best buy and fun item in the kitchen is my

Saladacco Spiral Slicer ---- I bought my daughter one recently and

got my mom one for Mother's Day. I found that if you use the gizzmo

the way they tell you to you can get mounds and mounds of zspaghetti

or veggie pasta - I even use cucumbers sometimes. This helped my

daughter to recently give up white flour pasta! I'm so proud of her -

and even more as she has chosen to aim for raw.

That is what I would like to get...the spiral slicer. I need a new food

processor too. Mine keeps leaking and it makes a huge mess.

Thanks for the input

I love my magic bullet. I use it several times a day. I can't imagine life with

out mine. I'm going to get the new cordless one to take to work with me and use

at lunch time. :-) In a few seconds you have a yummy drink for lunch or

snack. It is awesome!!!

I've wondered about the MB. I have two L'Equips--one at home and one

on my desk at work. Do you think it would be good to have in addition

to them? I also have a food processor and a Champion juicer. I don't

juice. I use it for masticating nuts for spreads and that only once

in a blue moon.

I'd be careful combining the nuts with melons and fruit. It's a yummy

combo but not good as far as digestion is concerned. The melons/fruit

are fast digesting foods and the nuts take hours. It can slow the

digestion of the melons/fruit and cause fermentation.

Have a wonderful Sunday, everyone!

Hi Anna,

You may not like my saying this ... but if your system does not respond

adversely to such a combination, then your system lacks the vitality to do

so. This is not a sign of health, nor is it a sign that " you can eat

anything " , or of any similar interpretation.

I couldn't get the link you supplied to work, but 1 1/2 teaspoons egg replacer

plus 2 tablespoons water equals one egg in the EnerG brand.

Hope that helps!

I was looking at this recipe: http://tinyurl.com/28datn and I have a

proportions as EnerG brand. How many eggs would be called for in that

recipe. i.e. it says, 4 tbsp egg replacer and 16 tbsp water. Would

that be equivalent to 4 eggs, which I could then sub in another way?

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for the kind and helpful comments regarding my switch to veganism.

I take a multi vitamin that supplies 100% of the b vitamins. Do I still need to

take a b-12 supplement?

Thanks
