Ve vs. Me vs. Ju in 8th house (Saravali)

Those who consider that Upachaya houses are houses of expansion and requested to answer a small question. Jupiter as lord of 7th house, goes to 11th house and now what would this placement of Jupiter mean. Say for Mithuna lagna.

Dear Manoj ji:

There are 3 effects that will be realized here:

Effect 1:

7th house lord in the 11th house -> This means 11th house significations

revealed through 7H causes -> This can mean

'gains/income/sudden gain/ambitions' seeing the light of the day through

'partnerships/business/spouse/long journeys'

Effect 2:

Jupiter in 11H;

This means he is also aspecting 5H, 3H, 7H

Now this should mean good wealth, good children (phaladeepika says Ju in 11H

means few children - seems illogical in this case), wealthy etc

Effect 3:

Mithuna lagna - this means 11H is Aries. Ju is not debilitated or detriment

here.

So overall good effects

Thanks

Kiran

Dear Kiran JI,

//(phaladeepika says Ju in 11H means few children - seems illogical in

this case)//

It can be logical when thinking as per KAS...

Ju generally (in more cases) gets 4 or more benific points where it

situated....Lets say it has 5 Points so It does 5 points benific as per

Karktva Natural and Functional....But It does sends..malefic effect

where it aspects....so aspects on 5 means possibility of few

children....It may delay marriage upto 24 years if aspect to second

lord ...

Thanks. But this I think everyone understands. My question was regarding the expansionist attributes of upachaya houses. What will Jupiter expand here. And often it is also said, that Jupiter himself helps expansion, so I chose Jupiter, over any other planet.

Am actually very curious to know the expansions, be it vertical or horizontal. And Bhaskar ji added another dimension to it, Jupiter here in this case also becomes badhakapati. Lets take Kanya Lagna also. Or say, Aries, Lagna, Venus in the eleventh house, what expansions would it bring?

best wishes,

Mouji Ram

Depends on how you interpret :) - gains from spouse or gain of partners can both

be implied

Question to you: How would you say which of the two? :)

well well - bhaskarji: thought the question was for you :)

Gains from spouse vs. Gain of female partners

Ju is a satwik planet - so former is likely to be implied.

Also look at Ve position; other planets in 7H/aspecting 7H

look at 10HL position - tells about dharma

Thanks

Dear Bhaskar and Kiran ji,

Both of you are engaged in your lovely little duel. No one is answering my question on "expansion". What Kiran ji has written is pretty elementary which a beginner in the world of astrology would perhaps know. I am trying to learn, so help me na.

Seventh lord in Upachaya houses would expand the significations of the seventh house, right. This is what I can understand and if I am wrong, someone can correct me. So I should always be expanding my seventh house. What would that mean.

regards,

Mouji

PS : Bhagyo-Udaya par iske baad mein baat karenge. Pehle prabudhh logon ko apna uttar dene dete hain.

Dear Mouji Bhai,

I havd already answered this as per my capabilities -

" Additionally, the native may go for more than one women.... "

In other words this could also mean expansion of number of wives, or

more than one wife.

This would of course be related to other factors of duality

co-operating.

regards,

Bhaskar.

Arrey yaar, this is what I was trying to drive at. Does it happen? So are they not simply bookish things with little applicability in real life.

Exactly. Thats what I too have been telling since last so many years.

Salt cannot be eaten by someone to fill his stomache. Salt has to be

given alongwith others ingredients and applied to the main dish in

proper proportions to make the salt useful. In same way one rule will

not work without unison and complementing of others.

Dear Mouji Ram ji,

Interesting discussion is going on, I have seven

planet(Mars,Jupiter,Venus,Mercury,Ketu,Saturn and Sun ) in 11th house in Pisces

Ascendant than what expansion in common I have ?

Except 5th lord every house lord in 11th which is in 12th and interestingly I

have three kids (Expansion ! in present scenario).

Interesting na !

Thanks,

And Bhaskar ji added another dimension to it, Jupiter here in this case also

becomes badhakapati. Lets take Kanya Lagna also. Or say, Aries, Lagna, Venus in

the eleventh house, what expansions would it bring?

Dear Bohra ji,

A good observation. Thank You.

Btw how many planets shift to the 12th and the 10th in the Placidus Bhav

Chalit and how many remain in the 11th?

Dear Bhaskar ji,

I have given my practical example to understand what you have said,we should

analyze a chart in whole mixture not by any one placement.

Janam Lagana says only outlines of Native.

In my chalit Mars and Saturn in 10th house rest are same. You know very well my

chart,we have discussed a lot about it.

Thanks,

Dear Bohra ji,

I really do not remember your chart honestly, and neither have your

birth details at my end. I use a Software which has a Key (Pen Drive)

which has to kept attached always to the PC for the software to work.

Many times during the month when my son wants to sit on my PC due to

some of his Games loaded on My PC, then I shift either to another pC, or

the Laptop, and in that case I have to remove this Key for the software

to work on the other PC or Laptop. When I remove this key, all my Charts

and data are lost and the Software is re-set for next use. Since I am

not interested in spending time and reading the Software manual on how

to save the Old data, I leave this part.

Yes we should analyse the chart with whole mixture and not with one

placement. Thanks for this information. I will keep this learning in

mind.

regards,

Bhaskar.

Dear Bohra ji,

Good that you have learnt by heart what I normally advise. But what was

the need at this juncture to remind me my own Golden words, when I have

not displayed any action out of line of what I always say. Dosent fit

in.

best wishes,

Bhaskar.

Dear Manoj ji,

I have a typical example of a Mithuna lagna native where Jupiter is placed in

11th house and native leading an immoral life. Here Ju is retrograde. Besides

Sa's 3rd aspect and Ma's 8th aspect falls on this Ju. The native is married to a

girl 14 years younger to him. Now he has an extra marital relationship with a

girl 22 years younger to him! Is this the work of retro Ju, the 7th lord in 11th

house?

Dear Bhaskar ji,

It was in response to " Yes we should analyse the chart with whole mixture and

not with one placement. Thanks for this information. I will keep this learning

in mind. "

I am in your support that we should not take as it is what have been written in

" Saravali " , " Uttarakalamrit " , " Chmatkar-Chintamani " ,etc.We have to take the

essence and understand what have been said and in which content.

7th lord in 11th,if take it as so many relation ship with opposite sex only by

just one planet placement than we lead to a wrong way.

In Mithun lagana if 7th lord Jupiter in 11th than some indications are as Native

have mature partner and they love each other a lot,Native's second child is very

independent and intelligent,Native's younger brother have child with good fate

and they are also learned,Native's maternal grand mother have learned

child,Native's father is in education professional side with all

respect,Native's enemy always in debt,Native is so " Dharmik " ,Native himself earn

the money from education or teaching or from any " Dharmik " sources,

Basically if the native in education field than he received lot of

expansion(gain). He attached with big institutions (Expansion),He have mature

business partner who have some good institutions.

These are my simple observations.

Thanks,

M.S.Bohra

Dear Renuji

from your eg. and i have been observing on regular basis that, when any house or planet are under joint influence of Mars and Saturn as in your eg. usually ill luck about the house and planet is experienced by the native.

As in your eg. jupiter as 7th lord in 11th house is jointly aspected by Saturn and Mars, here native is likely to get unsatisfactory results regarding 7th house (spouse in general) and 11th house for long term relationship. However this shall be true to all Lagna rasi.

Here Jupiter is also 10th lord so point, is he having problems in his career matters too? Amit Desai

When we are talking about just one planet and its placement as Shri

Mouji Bhai was asking about, we can then certainly not keep silent just

because we do not have the positions of the other planets. We were

expected to speak just about the Jupiter in 11th irrespective of other

influences. And we dont mean that every person of Gemini Asc. with Jup

in 11th will have relationships with lots of people from opposite sex.

We are just talking of a possibility due to this placement.

In same way You cannot predict the following only by just one planet

placement otherwise you will be led to a wrong way.

Good observations. Whenever Mars and Saturn jointly influence (Aspect) a

house, one may consider it as gone and lost.

Not only Mars is aspecting Jupiter who is the 7th Lord, but also the 7th

House.

Now I dont think that this friendship of his with a much younger girl,

is caused due to retro Jupiter This could be in fact the handiwork of

Mars. Mars is the Lord of the 6th house, therefore will break the 7th

house significations being 12th Lord from the 7th house. Furthermore

Mars and Saturn both contribute to spoiling the 11th house of

friendships.

Dear Manoj ji,I have a typical example of a Mithuna lagna native where Jupiter is placed in 11th house and native leading an immoral life. Here Ju is retrograde. Besides Sa's 3rd aspect and Ma's 8th aspect falls on this Ju. The native is married to a girl 14 years younger to him. Now he has an extra marital relationship with a girl 22 years younger to him! Is this the work of retro Ju, the 7th lord in 11th house?blessings,Renuancient_indian_ astrology, Manoj Kumar <mouji99 > wrote:>> Those who consider that Upachaya houses are houses of expansion and requested to answer a small question.
