Guest guest
Dear Santosh Ji,Thanks a ton for sharing your opinion.I wish if any of the the Senior Members may clarify the doubts you mentioned below.Best Regards,Deepak SharmaSanthosh <santhosh Sent: Fri, December 4, 2009 10:56:24 AMRE: Re: BHAVA/CHALIT CHAKRA Dear Deepakji, // D-30 (trimsamsa) & D-6 (shashthamsa) are considered in both S/Ws.// This is exactly my problem. Let me explain the rule for finding the trimsamsa. For Odd rashi:- Planet falling in first 5 degree is in mars trimshamsa Planet falling in next 5 degree is in Saturn trimshamsa Planet falling in next 8 degree is in Jupiter trimshamsa Planet falling in next 7 degree is in mercury trimshamsa Planet falling in last 5 degree is in venus trimshamsa For Even Rashi it is reversed as follows:- Planet falling in first 5 degree is in Venus trimshamsa Planet falling in next 7 degree is in Mercury trimshamsa Planet falling in next 8 degree is in Jupiter trimshamsa Planet falling in next 5 degree is in Saturn trimshamsa Planet falling in last 5 degree is in Mars trimshamsa For example if Mars is in Aries 8 degree. Then Aries being Odd Rashi, Mars will fall in Saturn’s Trimshamsa. Now Saturn has two houses, Capricorn and Aquarius. So which house of Saturn will you place Mars in???? This is exactly why Trimshamsa chart cannot be drawn. We can only say that mars is in saturn’s trimsamsha and we cannot say the rashi. So when we depend on trimshama in j/hora or parasara light, how can we talk about exaltation or debitation etc. we can only state if it is in a friend’s or enemy’s amsa. Since the D6 shashthamsa as per j/hora is not sanctified under the shodashavarga system I have no idea how that is calculated and how diseases etc can be studied from that. As per shodashavarga, trimshamsa is for diseases and evils. One more point I noticed is that in j/hora the hora chart is not as per the system prescribed. As per hora varga every planet ca fall only under sun’s or moon’s varga and not any other planet’s varga. However the proponent of j/hora has used a cyclical system to allocate the hora varga position. So i would like you to do something for me. In j hora, d6 is mentioned as shastamsha. If you go back to your list of 16 vargas as per parashara, there is no shastamsha and there is only shashiamsha which is division of 60 and not 6. So this chart in j hora is confusing me. Now in the 16 vargas there is one named trimshamsa, which division of rashi into 6 unequal parts according to a special formula and it is looked for evils and diseases. Now is this what j hora considers too and have they used a different name? If so pls check if the chart is as per this special formula for trimshamsha. I did not even claim to analyze something completely as I wrote // there must be other reasons as well // However, based on the general signications of Sun (Heart, Employment) and Mars (Muscular system & blood) whose degrees / aspects were known based on the given time, I just gave couple of contibutory factors for employment and BP problem of the native. And I doubt if general signication of planets and current period also get changed drastically with a few minutes of time difference in Natal Chart. I also mentioned in the mail // there must be other reasons as well// and // ...which may require further inputs and study // Best Regards, Deepak Sharma Santhosh <santhosh (AT) sudhamayi (DOT) com> ancient_indian_ astrology@ . com Wed, December 2, 2009 12:10:05 PM RE: [ancient_indian_ astrology] Re: BHAVA/CHALIT CHAKRA Dear Deepak, Allow me to say something too on this which might be further clarified by manojji. In your analsyis you straight away went to d6 and d9 for arriving at a conclusion. Please remember that varga positions of planets are mainly used for assessing the strength of the planet in the rashi chart and it is used for cross verification of points noticed in the rashi chart. Your primary analysis should be based on the rashi chart and then you can substantiate it from the varga position. But if you cannot derive something from a rashi chart yet you see that in a varga position it cannot be a conclusive prediction. You will notice that all along I use the phrase varga position and not varga chart because in traditional astrology there is no such thing as varga chart. It is available only in computer software. It is the position of the planet in the main rashi chart when the rashi is sub-divided into different parts which pin points an issue noticed in the rashi chart. Now coming to your question in the email below. You are right just because 6th house is weak you cannot say divorce. It has to be cross verified with 7th house and its lord, varga positions of 7th lord, planets in 7th house, attributes of karaka for marriage, venus etc to arrive at a conclusion because 6th house signifies many other things also, derived or primary. I'm giving a hypothetical example to share my views on the subject - If sixth house of a native is extremely weak /afflicted. Say its lord is weak on multiple accounts like combustion, debilitation, debilitation in D-9 & other D- Charts, afflictions etc Can we predict divorce or family / marriage disputes from this? My opinion - Despite extreme afflictions or weaknesses to sixth house, the native may not suffer at all regarding the family matters / divorce. Native may have a happy married life. Why - Because "Divorce" is not the "Primary signification" of Sixth house. This is a "Derived signification" based on some rules. The Primary signfication is the "dispute / litigation" (of course many others) When this "dispute / litigation" has some association with the houses / significators of marriage / family, a native is likely to face family or marital disputes resulting in divorce. If such an extremely weak and afflicted 6th house has no association with the houses / significators of marriage / family, it can not give divorce or disputes among family members. (Please note - "Derived Significations" or "Primary Significations" of 6th house may not be mentioned in any of the books. I've used the terms to convey my message.) For both these reasons it is definitely the house for divorce. Now there is another contreversial rule I learned from one of my teachers. 6H is also the house of "the other one" or the "person one is having an affair with". I forget the explanation for this, but apparently Parashara mentions this in one of his shlokas. So along with the 2H, 6H also can lead to "divorce due to interference from outside". Guest guest
Dear Puneet-ji, In Lalkitab, the ascendant, irrespective of sign, is treated asAries. Hence, as per Lalkitab, the 10th house would be Capricorn. Hence, Moon in Saturn's sign (as per Lalkitab only), may betreated as weak. I don't remember whether waning/waxing phaseof Moon is considered in Lalkitab or not. More probably, it wouldbe based on placement in Bhava (Khazana as per Lalkitab) and whether ahead / before etc... Anyway, it is difficult to follow two sytems together. regards Chakraborty On Behalf Of puneet ahujaFriday, December 04, 2009 12:55 PM Subject: RE: Re: BHAVA/CHALIT CHAKRA Dear SantoshjiMoon is in 10 house and it is Dasami tithi ,waning Moon ,own house in Cancer so cannot follow it is weak---RegardsPuneet Ahuja --- On Thu, 3/12/09, Santhosh <santhosh (AT) sudhamayi (DOT) com> wrote:Santhosh <santhosh (AT) sudhamayi (DOT) com>RE: Re: BHAVA/CHALIT CHAKRA Date: Thursday, 3 December, 2009, 9:40 PM Dear Puneetji, That could be the view of lal Kitab and not ascribed to by other classics. Guest guest
Dear Friends on this thread, Moon in 10th in Lalkitab is considered poisionous here. But even posion has its uses. Gives good longevity if 10th is Taurus or Cancer. Can make the native connected to medical profession with certain other combinations. If Sun,Jupiter or Mars in 4th when Moon in 10th then Moon is very auspicious. All comforts will be there. This 10th position of Moon is bad for the in laws. There are many such combinations and other placements of planets which make the planet Moon in 10th either malefic or benefic. No only this certain items kept in house and certain actions committed by native will also make the Moon and the toher planets in result, malefic. I cannot elaborate on above. This will take two days, and lots of mind power. I have already mentioned in one of my previous mails that apne paas jyaada dimaag nahin hai lagaane ko. Main Marwadi hoon, aur Marwaadi ka dimaag sirf Note dekhkar kaam karna shuru hota hai barobar. (Chakroborty Sahab yes you are right, its difficult to follow two systems together, but I am going to make this appear simpler in few years time, which I will present to all students of astrology, through my books, hopefully). regards/Bhaskar. Guest guest
Dear Deepakji, Please find below clarification from sureshji on the issue of Trimshamsa chart. Regards Santhosh Re: [kerala_vedic_astrology] Trimsamsa & Varga Charts Suresh Babu.A.G <sureshbabuag View Contact To: kerala_vedic_astrology Dear Santhosh, You are absolutey correct. This is a glaring reason why I say that Vargas cannot be considered as charts. The Ploting of Planets in vargas is only a matter of convinience. Trimsamsa of planets represents the Pancha bhootas. That is why Sun & Moon is excluded from the list. That is why Trimsamsa is never refered with signs, rather it is only refered to the planet. If two planets (Sun & Moon) and signs are excluded from being assigning other planets, how could call it a " Chakra " - it becomes a broken chakra. The same is the situation with Hora, where Hora relates only with Sun & moon. Where Sun is Atma kakara & moon is Mana karaka. Sun -Male energy & Moon - Female energy. Shiva & Shakti (These are not mere words). So here no other planet could own Hora bhaga, which in turn means 10 signs are excluded. Again the same question how could we consider Hora " Chakra " without the participation of 10 signs & 5 Tara grihas or nodes. That is why we use the words liberaly navamsadhipathy, drekanadhipathy, trimsamsadhipathy, surya hora & chandra hora. In a nutshell, the representation of Varga as chakras is only due to convenience and ease of understanding. But they can never form chakras on their own. If you look at other vargas, they are just multiplication factors, which means you can create any varga by multipying the longitude by that number and expunge by 360. Probably you can join any university and present an article as research finding by creating a new varga. You may get a doctarate. If you can create a varga by multipying the longitude by 9 (navamsa) why not by 9.5 navaardhamasa? . or any such numbers. I hope you understand A. Why - Because " Divorce " is not the " Primary signification " of Sixth house. This is a " Derived signification " based on some rules. The Primary signfication is the " dispute / litigation " (of course many others) When this " dispute / litigation " has some association with the houses / significators of marriage / family, a native is likely to face family or marital disputes resulting in divorce. If such an extremely weak and afflicted 6th house has no association with the houses / significators of marriage / family, it can not give divorce or disputes among family members. (Please note - " Derived Significations " or " Primary Significations " of 6th house may not be mentioned in any of the books. I've used the terms to convey my message.) For both these reasons it is definitely the house for divorce. Now there is another contreversial rule I learned from one of my teachers. 6H is also the house of " the other one " or the " person one is having an affair with " . I forget the explanation for this, but apparently Parashara mentions this in one of his shlokas. So along with the 2H, 6H also can lead to " divorce due to interference from outside " . Guest guest
Dear Santhosh Ji,Thank you so much for bringing this in notice.Best Regards,Deepak SharmaSanthosh <santhosh Sent: Mon, December 7, 2009 4:44:27 PMRE: Re: BHAVA/CHALIT CHAKRA Dear Deepakji, Please find below clarification from sureshji on the issue of Trimshamsa chart. Regards Santhosh Re: [kerala_vedic_ astrology] Trimsamsa & Varga Charts Suresh Babu.A.G <sureshbabuag@ > View Contact kerala_vedic_ astrology Dear Santhosh, You are absolutey correct. If two planets (Sun & Moon) and signs are excluded from being assigning other planets, how could call it a "Chakra" - it becomes a broken chakra. Again the same question how could we consider Hora "Chakra" without the participation of 10 signs & 5 Tara grihas or nodes. I've used the terms to convey my message.)
