Blind Quiz: Divorce/Child custody Outcome

Dear All,

Here is a quiz I recently posted at Jyotish_Vidya group. I have not received any official response there yet. So I am posting it here since our group is very active.

Here is the data of a friend of mine.

Nov, 30, 1966, 5:04 AM, Kansas City Missouri, USA

He is currently going through a very ugly divorce and child custody battle.

Interesting questions for the group are:

Is he going to financially gain or lose from this divorce?

Is he going to win custody of children or atleast 50/50 with his wife (soon to be ex-wife)?

A bonus question is :

What was the profession of the wife before marriage (Marriage happened in 2006)?

She went back to college and changed her profession after Marriage.

The answer to the above question is very interesting and intruiguing.

Any comments on professional and financial status of this Native is also welcome.

Please provide any other details you may want to and I will confirm if I can.

I fully agree with your views. The answers should be posted in the group if it is to benefit all the members. It has learning value only when the members can see where one has gone wrong or how the correct conclusions have been drawn.

Well i m a silent observer in

this fantastic group ,so seeing a blind chart so i though let me share my view ,

Well ASC is is libra 16:50:13 Swati Naks as u see tht his lagnesh is in 2nd

house conbust wit Sun and 7th lord mars badly placed in 12th house and adding

more fuel to fire is rahu in 7th house in the house of aries and saturn who is

in Naks of jupiter retro as he is won house of 3rd n 6th house (both r

interchange in Naks ) from his own house seeing 7 th house n rahu

As u see tht in D-9

chart again lagnesh Jupiter again in 8th house and 7th lord mercury in Naks of

Jup in 3rd house in front of Sun who is again 6th lord and hemmed between Ketu n

Saturn Tht confirm Divorce as in Transit u see Sat will in 12 house wit mars

from sept 9 and from Moon Saturn will in 4th house from moon and rahu will be in

7th from moon and ketu wit moon as he is going in DASA CHIDRA Sat - Jup which

is worst period in person if his dasa is not good wit transit creating hell for

him ,

As u see in D-10 meen

lagna dasa lord Saturn in 9th house should give him result but couldnt cause wit

sun and rahu and DASA CHIDRAA but i see good from Mercury dasha sitting in his

The chart you gave is Libra Lagna and LL Venus is placed in Scorpio, the house

of secrets...

Wonder what caused the divorce !!!

Dear Renu ji,House placement is also very important. 2nd house always shows secret affairs of spouse being 8th from 7th.Sun-venus in 2H is more likely to show wife's affairs rather than native's, if other conditions also prevail.

Dear members,

Does daylight savings apply? I think a standard daylight savings time through

out US was applied starting from the year 1966. Then there was a change

recently. This person is 1966 born. JHora gives standard time default.

It should also be known whether the native is of Indian descent or an american.

Indian values does not exist in US, so the chart will need different

interpretation (desha kala patra)

Dear Neelam ji,

Thanks so much. This would help me in answering Manoj ji's questions on this

chart. You should be correct....I think his post makes us assume that the native

is the innocent party.

So, 2nd is the 8H house of the spouse...once again Ve, Sun combo in the 8H, this

time that of the spouse... Interesting.

Dear Renu ji,If 7H is aries, then it makes 5L sun and 7L venus in 8H of scorpio. Hence my sentence says "gain financially or lose (financially implied)". I am not making a judgement on the real "value" of "gain". Again his marrige is already in pieces so there is nothing he can do at this point to salvage that. Also let us remember at this point we do not yet know "what" or "who" is responsible for the marriage "being in pieces".

I would also like to add that as devastating a divorce is, life goes on after that. So is not divorce followed by poverty worse than divorce followed by a decent life style?

Does daylight savings apply? I think a standard daylight savings time through out US was applied starting from the year 1966. Then there was a change recently. This person is 1966 born. JHora gives standard time default.

Dear Manoj ji,

Let me give a try....

The native is Libra lagna and Vimsottari dasha is Sa/Ju/Sa.

Saturn a yogakarka for Libra native is placed in the 5H in its moolatrikona

sign. Ju is the 6HL exalted and retrograde in the 10H. The dasa of 6HL can take

one to courts....and if we take from MD lord Sa, Jupiter is again placed in the

6th from it. Jupiter has given 8AV bindus to its natal position. Hence Jupiter

is strong here.

6H is losses to spouse and gains to native. 6HL Jupiter aspects its own house.

Double transit of Dasa lords Sa & Ju activates natives' 11H of gains. 11H has 34

Why do you say that? What in my post gave you that impression? I was trying to be very careful and not give any indications one way or the other.

Please clarify so I can correct the error. I did not intend to claim that the native is the "innocent" party.

........all the above made me think that the native is the innocent party

according to your thinking. He is your friend and from your mail I could infer

some sympathetic attitude from you towards him...

[7H], the spouse's house, confirmed it.

Deaer Renu Ji,

He is my friend but I am not sympathetic to him at all as you can see that he has a very strong chart. Also let me explain the "ugly divorce" comment. In general divorce is very common in the USA. In Arizona 60% of marriages end in divorce. The term "ugly" is reserved to situations where some thing "out of the ordinary" has occurred. Regarding the financial aspect here also some cultural issues need to be addressed.

Arizona is a "community property state". This means that all property, cash, valuables, investments etc that the "couple" earn after marriage, needs to be split 50/50 after divorce. Hence what this meeans is that for example if a woman is a house wife taking care of the child, she gets half of what the couple own, plus the husband needs to pay money towards child custody. On top of this husband also has to pay alimony (if the wife is NOT working or working for very low pay). So above is the "normal" judgement by the Court. So if the husband ends up paying more than 50/50 then I would consider it "financial loss". If he pays less than 50/50 then I would consider it "financial gain". Alimony usually goes for 5 years. Child support until children turn 18 (unless wife's earnings catch up rapidly and becomes equal to husbands).

There are also many exceptions to the above where many women earn more than their husbands and hence the reverse case is also applicable.

Also since we both believe in the law of Karma, is there really any body who is really innocent in this world? Isn't it because we have invited our Karma that precisely we are able to read the destiny in the chart?
