That reminds of a humorous article I read awhile back -- some fellow got caught

for speeding (or something like that), and his defense was that state laws

didn't apply, because " I live inside myself, not in the state of Iowa " .

Seriously, that was on news -- wish I had saved it ;-).

Almost anything perceived 'external' can hurt like that, and honestly I think

'ego' searches for such things.

It can be anything, a million things, a billion things, a trillion.

Or, it can all be dropped... it's just happening in the mind, and isn't really

external.

as ramana said if a thief is beating you with a stick you can't say there's no

pain. along the similar lines you can't say it's just happening in the mind and

there's no corresponding external reality.

it's the mind's job to reconstruct the external reality so we can interpret it

and save our butts.

if bob is just happening in the mind and isn't really external, why even

complain about him and wish him to remove from the list?

hey timmy...

do you think there is a difference between peace and unrest..REALLY?

do you think there really are positive and negative " poles " ..

outside of a deluded and relative distinction?

do you feel abused?

do you think maybe you put too much stock in your " self " ..

and all it's woes and tribulations..

joys and laughter(s)?

do you think anyone REALLY cares?

what good does it do even if they do?

does that make you feel good..about yourself?

do you think that that is a " good thing " ?

maybe if the self WHICH FEELS SO DISTRAUGHT..

were just to " go through " it's supposed sense of hurt..

....and dissolve..

just maybe all that would be left is laughter.

when it just doesn't matter anymore..

when there is no one for it to matter about for..

well timmy..

you just wouldn't..and could not possibly..believe it.

because as long as that sufferin' succotash self is around..

it lives in it's self created world of self-importance and suffering.

and it's a phony that cannot and will not last.

get over it..get over yourself.

the only problem is..

you really CAN'T.

but IT WILL HAPPEN.

sooner or later and indeed IT actually IS THE CASE.

you can't help yourself..

i can't help your self..

dabbo can't help you here..

Niz can't help you..

Jesus nor Buddha nor Mohamed nor any guru nor poet nor mysic..

no zen no Lao Tzu no Nothing..

not heaven nor hell nor your Aunt Jemima can help you.

there is no you to help.

and after as before..

as above and below..

everything and every All and every Nothing at All..

is exactly the same.

and that's funny as all get out.

even though there's nothing to get out of...

no words can help you either.

so baba's sure this hasn't helped you.

and THAT..

makes this boy laugh.

LOL!

The actuality of 'the nondual' is not the words (re)presented as pointers.

The pointing finger is not what is being pointed to.

Yes -- but a thief isn't beating either of us with a stick.

If the external reality is actually happening, it's actually happening -- I

agree.

But probably 99.9% of what troubles us, isn't happening now.

And that's the point.

but if the " you " is enjoying the " peace and silence " ..

it's a stillborn event.

it's an ultimate and immediate failure.

it actually props up and perpetuates the ONE and ONLY problem.

what this " you " experiences is not peace..nor silence.

it's what it imagines those to be.

it experiences the same " thing " that it itself is..

a simulacrum of X.

and that is it's goal.

it keeps it alive and proud and buried in the morass of it's pride.

it's bullshit.

and you won't believe this.

you can't.

LOL!

he doesn't know himself.

neither do you.

your head just fell off.

but you can't see it because your eyes went with it.

you think it's important.

it can't be explained to you actually.

you don't have the ears to hear.

they're with that fallen head.

so " you " will keep pretending..

and feeling hurt and abused..

or proud in your " seeking without a goal " ..

you know..

all that phony shit that makes you think you know something..

that stuff you go on about in order to impress others and your " self " .

life's a bitch and then you die..and you die and you die.

at last....there is nothing to die.

because there is nothing that was ever born.

night night timmy.

you see timmy..

if that was real to you..

you'd cut the whining and crying.

only eternal laughter would..would...

well actually it wouldn't do anything.

and that's something that you just can't fathom.

and that's just not going to do it for you.

wonder why?

of course you do.

and you obviously took it seriously.

you're a jerk.

you seem obsessed with what was said or done long ago.

no wonder you have a hard time getting over your trite opinions.

you relish holding onto your recapitulations and personal history.

that's really a joke.

Funny -- it seems here I've been speaking quite sanely/rationally, and haven't

complained about a thing.

I guess it depends what " I " is *really* involved, eh? ;-).

Go ahead and whine/cry about whining/crying that isn't even happening with the

other.

It's interesting to watch the projector throw pictures onto a screen, while the

screen is taken as reality instead of the projector.

bullshit.

it maintains and perpetuates the self.

it runs from TRUE NAURE with ever increasing speed.

and makes that phony " you " say things like you did above.

and that makes you feel Proud and Enlightened.

and that is folly of the First Order.

it is the foundation of your arising into and as this world.

now defend that self with all your might!

tell me how RIGHT you are.

tell me all about your Wisdom..and Search..and what you " Found " .

it's midnight in the Garden of Allah.

:-)

that's what i can't understand.

i don't know the man.

why would anyone want him taken to the road to Golgotha?

anyway..

i hear the lashes and abusive words about his abusive words.

i don't know him.

i've never been with the guy.

(and that was some nasty stuff up on the hill there i hear)

some say they'll try to find him this Sunday.

Good Luck!

LOL!

p,s,

remember friends..

i don't know the guy.

OK that's three times.

i hear the cock crowing.

now i got to get back to business.

i'm planning on starting up a Firm.

we'll publish some books on that bastard.

and the Company will grow and grow.

and someday a CEO who stands in my place at that future time.

will say he doesn't know..

about some nasty things going on with the crew running the franchises.

funny how things never change..

throughout the many changes throughout the ages.

who could possibly want more than the hilarity..
