" I simply followed (my teacher's) instruction, which was to focus the

mind on pure being, 'I am', and stay in it. I used to sit for hours

together, with nothing but the 'I am' in my mind, and soon peace and

joy and a deep all-embracing love became my normal state. In it all

disappeared -- myself, my Guru, the life I lived, the world around

me. Only peace remained, and unfathomable silence. "

" I am " is the door.

Either one is looking at and eventually understanding the " I " that is just a

story, the false, or else,

one is knocking at the " I " that is a pointer to the " being " that is ones

real nature.

good thing because:

a). you didn't die.

b). you most certainly aren't enlightened.

c). you are speaking from and as self.

and further proof that you are deluded..

as if anymore was needed..

is in your use of time markers like month and clock time.

you aren't even close to getting what IT IS.

too bad.

no it's just more and stinkier bullshit.

to talk like that is not elegant at all.

it's as inelegant and unrefined as it gets.

actually to talk like that is just plain stupid.

there is no surprise that you don't understand that either.

you obviously don't understand much at all.

there's often a debate in neo-advaita circles whether there's meditation or not

but this seems to be as close to a medidation practice as possible.

Hi, Bob --

Have you ever felt a sense of peace, and an easing of all the negativity?

Just wondering...

From here, there's certainly nothing wrong with meditation.

Particularly if it isn't practiced with a goal in mind, but because one has

learned to appreciate peace and silence.

The others he's swinging at, he doesn't even know.

P.S. it seems something like one walking into a glass/china shop with their arms

swinging everywhere, pinwheeling around blindly, knocking dishes and glasses off

shelves, etc.

All the china and glass being one's own, unknowingly.

It's self-destructive behaviour, if one realizes that both self and other arise

from the same Source.

And of course, at the same time, just words -- nothing real ever being touched

at all.

good thing because:

a). you didn't die.

b). you most certainly aren't enlightened.

c). you are speaking from and as self.

and further proof that you are deluded..

as if anymore was needed..

is in your use of time markers like month and clock time.

you aren't even close to getting what IT IS.

too bad.

LOL!

..b b.b.

Good try!! Very good but not effective. You are the only one here (besides

lene, but that is something else) who

claim to have died in 1973. None else.

LOL!

Perhaps so.

And perhaps egos unconsciously like to get bruised -- it makes them " feel real " ,

eh? ;-).

no it's just more and stinkier bullshit.

to talk like that is not elegant at all.

it's as inelegant and unrefined as it gets.

actually to talk like that is just plain stupid.

there is no surprise that you don't understand that either.

you obviously don't understand much at all.

..b b.b.

Bad acting again!!

You are the only one here who ever said was dead since 1975.

LOL!

..ge.o.

Yes. Exactly.

The honest and persistent inquiry into the nature of the " I am " brings about

the silence, the emptiness, of the true essential nature of existence.

it feels real to me though. the funny thing is when the me says there's no me it

never works well as a legal defence.

" no officer i was not speeding, consciousness was. "

since the consciousness is tracelss and placeless, there's no address to mail

the violation ticket so the poor me gets it each time accepting on behalf of

consciousness. oh i get it, i'm just a convenient forwarding mailing address.
