There's nothing separate from 'thoughts arising' to understand anything.

The desire to understand something is just another thought arising.

These thoughts just come up. How can there be a separate thinker?

The reason there's no need for understanding is that there's nobody to

understand.

'Tis the nature of " spiritual " lists... nothing could be more " worldly " in that

regard. All resistance, all the time.

Any and everything that happens, happens 'here'. It's worth keeping in mind

before calling someone else stupid. What was happening in their thoughts when a

message was posted, there's no clue. What's happening in our own is obvious.

The issue is whatever " the issue " seems to be at the moment, if any... so if

being identified with memory is the issue, that's the issue. There's also the

issue of identifying 'others' with our own memory pattern.

There is no ongoing, continuous contraction. There's no ongoing, continuous

nothin'.
