Trapped in a Bubble of Consciousness...

Hello to you all here, you enlightened weirdos

This is my first post, so please do not flame me for saying silly things.

Many questions I had, were answered to me through my intuition or

whatever you may call it, so I won't waste your time with boring

questions.

I would call myself something like a natural magician. Many magical

things happened to me, although back then I knew nothing about magick.

It was perhaps ten years ago, when I realized that everything that

exists is made of consciousness.

It was ten years ago, when I realized that the cosmos and everything

in it is mental.

It was ten years ago, when I realized that I'm somehow trapped inside

a bubble of consciousness.

Now, ten years later, I'm still trapped inside that silly bubble.

Somehow I feel the whole universe is laughing about me. I mean, this

situation is really silly.

I know that in the province of the mind, what one believes to be true

is true or becomes true, within certain limits to be found

experientially and experimentally. These limits are further beliefs to

be transcended. In the mind, there are no limits.

I know that I am the Supreme Self.

This knowledge is not information-knowledge, it is direct experience,

awareness, consciousness, insight, whatever.

And yet, I'm still trapped inside that silly bubble.

I really need some help.

At first I did some research with books and on google, but this is a

never ending story. But then I said wait, human beings are like

computer terminals of the cosmic divinity. Portals to the infinite

hyperspace-noosphere.

Why not access the cosmic mind through those terminals?

Now that's why I am here.

Now my question is this.

I know what I know, for I am aware of what I am aware of. I mean, it

exists for me, because it exists as awareness. Awareness being aware

of itself so to say.

You are aware of what you are aware of, for what you are aware of

exists as a part of your field of consciousness. And you are aware of

that field of consciousness.

Now my question is this: Why am I not aware of everything that is

aware of itself?

I may also put this differently: Why am I only aware of what I am

aware of, and not what you and everybody else is aware of at the same

time?

I know, this question may sound somewhat weird, but this is serious,

assuming the cosmos is not just one big joke. As I have said, I'm

coming to the realization, that there must be some cosmic joke I'm

involved in.

On certain levels I may have acquired a certain maturity, but then I

feel like a real idiot.

In case that something inspiring comes to your mind while reading this

post, please do post, for I'm grateful for any inspiration, even the

smallest one.

Well the first thing you need to do is to get out of this group,

seek out some mature " healthy " adults, don't waste your time here,

most these folks have severe personal emotional problems, merely

looking for attention for themselves, they belong on a psychiatrists

couch. I assure you Nisargadatta would be turning in his grave if he

could see the " sickness " being paraded around here in the name of

Understanding.

You are welcome to check out my group if you are seriously interested

in actual Understanding.

I liked the title : trapped in a bubble of

Consciousness..

I often feel that way, trapped in a very small

illusion that I call myself. feeling helpless, knowing

that I am not going to pull myself out because I am

trapped.

Then, opening up, longing, streching toward true

intelligence.

Something always answers to pure despair.

And I would call that pure alchemy,

Because it isn`t concepts or lithanie that I get. It

is substance and it is pure. I can transform that into

concepts and more questions, or I may just breathe it,

take it in, and keep opening up.

Do check out whatever you want. But I'll give you a heads up.

Don't be fooled by people who say " they have the way - and there way

is better and others just don't have it. " Lots of cults out there

like that and they can leave you turned upside down and inside out -

not that that's necessarily a bad thing. I'm just sayin'.

The ranch has just as many weirdo's as Judi believes this place

has. They tend to believe in many " unhealthy adult things " and

their stuff is okay with each other as is any group or organization

who bonds together in a pack because they all believe the same

thing, so they can't see it. A little I AM would work wonders on

the ranch, but then again, there fun would die.

There is no *right* way. There's just lots of different ones,

Judi's included, as much as she preaches otherwise.

Be aware of that or not.

Jassou enleightened weirdo,

congratulations for your courage :-)

You say:

Your protectiveness is understandable but let me warn you:

Most likely you will become flamed here for silly things...

And is this not good? This way you have a chance to find out about

yourself. You also might get flamed by people who dont understand the

parts that are not silly. This is good too, this way you have a chance

to find out if you understand yourself well enough to be sure.

>I know that I am the Supreme Self. This knowledge is not

Good.

>And yet, I'm still trapped inside that silly bubble.

Even much better!!! Only few people can see this. Now all you have to

do is to examine this trap insistently... where it comes from.

>Now my question is this: Why am I not aware of everything that is

>aware of itself? I may also put this differently: Why am I only aware

>of what I am aware of, and not what you and everybody else is aware

You are asking this question from the standpoint of a separated

person. In order to maintain the separation one thinks that all the

concepts that make one a " person " are real. Now this person starts to

ponder: if I am " all " then I must also know the conceptual cages of

all the other people. This is silly! The conceptual person is

naturally separated and cannot be otherwise. The supreme knows of no

person. Better forget the supreme and concentrate on " I am " ... " what

is " ... this is the best tool you have to find out what really " is " .

Well, if I understood you correctly, you already take into

consideration that the cosmos might be one big joke. If it is, then

what is your problem? Is it not better to go through life loughing at

a joke than to srcatch ones head over endless logical problems? You

think this makes you look like an idiot... Well... the real idiots to

me are the ones who spend their lifes scratching their heads and

posting the results of this scratching in mailinglists and feel...

really... very... important... Isn't THAT silly?

If you can endure her well-meaning insults.... Lol. She's not a bad

gal, at all! I highly recommend her group. It's pretty well the same

over there as it is here though. Just a different flavour or

whatever. You'll never find what you're looking for by

jumping 'teacher' to 'teacher.'

Well I guess the sickness nowadays seems to be universal. Humanity

seems to be caught up in some kind of collective madness. Actually

there are three states of mind:

1: insane

2: normal

3: healthy

As far is I am concerned I would call myself unsane. But then in a

world having gone insane it may be a really bad sign being called normal.

I may look into your group. Thanks for your reply.

Of course I'm not the Supreme Self. My mind is talking to you and my

mind surely is not the Supreme Self. But I'm not the mind. I watch the

mind talk and I watch the mind utter the words 'I AM the Supreme

Self'. I'm not the talking mind and you're not the listening mind.

You won't apparently. You cannot give what you don't have.

Why is the sun shining outside?

Because you are the Supreme Self.

Why is it raining outside?

Because you are the Supreme Self.

Why is it cold outside?

Because you are the Supreme Self.

There are no logical problems. Everything simply IS. And life is as

serious as you make it.

I feel really important, but I'm not what makes me feel important.

And yes the abysmal stupidity of humankind truly is silly.

Thanks for your intelligent reply. Intelligence seems to be rare nowadays.

Look a bit deeper into what you just said and you may find the deeper

meaning of it all:

who knows no-thing

how should he be able

to give it to you...

how should one be able

even if he wanted

to give what cannot be

Hey, thats the best answer one could give... much better than my

detailed reply on your question. If you think a bit more about it you

may find that you have answered that question already yourself,

several times.

He surely doesn't, you dont know him yet. Did not you bring the

" supreme self " onto the table here? ;-)))

have a nice sunday

>O: It comes from my beliefs, limiting my mind.

then, this means you have to examine your beliefs. No belief can

resist persistent examination. Examination => no belief => no trap.

Are you ready for that?

>S: You are asking this question from the standpoint of a separated

>person.

>O: No I don't. I'm asking the from the standpoint of pure awareness.

If pure awareness is impersonal then follows: no person = no

illusionary, conceptual separated artefacts. Your question is not

possible for pure awareness. It does not see the illusions of other

persons because they do not exist. In fact it sees all.

>O: I am the Supreme and I know this bodymind well. The bodymind I

>watch talking to you right now.

If your bodymind would not consist of 99% beliefs you would not have

asked that question. Examine those beliefs first, before you talk

about the supreme. Right now the supreme as you present it is nothing

but a conceptual belief.

>I do know well what IS. I AM what IS.

Then why do you not go with that? Why do you still feel that you are

trapped? To be with " I am " means to let go of all beliefs except " I

am " . This is more than enough for now. You have asked for help

concerning the trap you find yourself in. But, are you willing to

abandon the trap (=beliefs)?

>I feel really important, but I'm not what makes me feel important.

>And yes the abysmal stupidity of humankind truly is silly.

Which of course includes yourself, dont forget that...

what does " intelligence " mean for you?

yes, you look too deep, dear friend! The answer to your question is

too obvious and simple for your deeply searching mind.

See, I am not trying to devalue the beauty of you, the human beeing,

the flower, the sincereness of your inner world, your struggle, your

quest.

But if you want to get out of the trap of your beliefs you have to

allow your beliefs to be questioned.

Bigwaaba has andwered your question, but you still cant see it because

you take the " supreme selve " for something that can be measured with

the tools of the mind.

>The Supreme is destined to give meaning.

This is your big error. Only beliefs need meaning, it is their daily

food. This what " is " : is... no meaning required.

Then if this is important for you, try to understand what he wanted to

express with this term. There is plenty material to read, lol!

Good luck

Hello, Omikron. Good to meet you here, in cyberspace. Interesting

conversation you have going on with...yourself. I know, I know. You

thought you were having a conversation with others here. Ha-ha.

Funny. There is only you, you see? You are not aware of what others

perceive through their senses because there are no others. We are

all part of your imagination. Nothing more and nothing less. You

made it all up. LOL. Funny, eh?

Don't worry. You'll get used to talking to yourself. And if you

believe it's insane to answer back, you'll be really lonely. So you

better get rid of that belief.

****Yes, indeed. Another poet. Omikron, would you write a poem about

how you have heard the theoretical sound of a square-wave? Good thing

for how deeply the stars affect me or else I'd be a complete ignoramus

and not just an ignoramus.
