suchandra 1 Report post Posted June 12, 2008 Unless you enter a written objection at the public health authority every deceased person in our country is automatically obligated to donate his/her organs and the bereaved aren't informed about what actually was removed. What could be possibly the vedic point of view for such a law? Organ donation is the removal of the tissues of the human body from a person who has recently died, or from a living donor, for the purpose of transplanting. Organs and tissues are removed in procedures similar to surgery, and all incisions are closed at the conclusion of the surgery. Steps are taken to provide a traditional funeral viewing. People of all ages may be organ and tissue donors. Organs that can be procured include: the heart, intestines, kidneys, lungs, liver, pancreas. These are procured from a brain dead donor or a donor where the family has consent for donation after cardiac death, known as Non-heart beating donation. The following tissues can be procured: bones, tendons, corneas, heart valves, femoral veins, great saphenous veins, small saphenous veins, pericardium, skin grafts, and the sclera (the tough, white outer coating surrounding the eye). These are only procured after someone has died. Organs that can be donated from living donors include part of the liver or pancreas and the kidney. suchandra 1 Report post Posted June 13, 2008 I have two casios, a farfisa, and an awesome yamaha. But I will only donate an old whirlitzer. Thanks Mahak, that's what I thought too. Unless it is a guru whose organs are fully spiritualized and thus holy and shouldn't be removed, we the rank and file just have a laugh about the crazy karmis who make a huge global business selling organs via constitutional law. Yet another proof how stupid modern medical science is struggling along in their futile attempt to become immortal. Trying to prolong their doomed lives by crimes like disturbing the peace of the dead and plundering the organs as cult of the dead.
