Avinash Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 I have read in some scriptures that Vishnu incarnated as Rama. Hare Krishnas believe that Rama is eternally present in spiritual world. My questions is:- Who incarnated as Rama? Did Vishnu incarnate as Rama? Or did Rama of spiritual world incarnate as Rama of Ayodhya on Earth? Quote
supercow Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 IMHO, Rama is a Krishna-avatar like Caitanya and Vyasadeva. Many avatars (Buddha, Nrisimhadev, etc...) that appear on Earth are Vishnu-avatar. There are mixed avatars too. Scripture would be an authority on this so that we may know who is exactly who. Quote
