Tirisilex Posted December 22, 2006 Report Posted December 22, 2006 Whats involved with puja? How can I perform it? I'm an Artist.. can I Draw Krishna as a thing to do in Puja? I was reading a little on other sites but they were asking of different chants and stuff.. so Before I went any further I decided to ask first. Isnt the Hare Krishna Chant enough? Quote
Jahnava Nitai Das Posted December 22, 2006 Report Posted December 22, 2006 Chanting is enough. But for those who want more engagement of the mind and senses, they can engage in other types of worship, called puja. Puja usually involves having a deity of Krishna (or a picture of him), and then offering various items to him. The general items offered are food, flowers, water, incense, fire, cloth, and wind.
