Guest guest
Hello, How can astrologers claim that their predictions are accurate? Do their clients REALLY check back with them to let them know that their predictions have in fact come true? While I believe that vedic astrology can be quite useful, I am little hesitant to believe astrologers who claim that predictions are so accurate. Any thoughts from the group? Guest guest
Very good question! Lots of good astrologers insist that clients give them feedback and maintain an ongoing relationship, just as you would with your doctor, dentist, investment counsellor, mentor. This is based on anecdotal accounts, but I think many more off-line clients/nativities maintain this link than those that get readings online. Then again, many online reading requests are fishing expeditions with many different reasons for posting such requests. I will not go there, and lest this bias anyone, any jyotishi that is, some of these requests are from really troubled souls that may be seeking some hope, solace, and compassion. It is up to the jyotishi to decide if they should act as psychologist, therapist, counsellors or focus on jyotish cues without losing their human/compassionate impulses. This is a fine line -- often it works and you end up gaining a long-time admirer or friend. In other cases, well, sometimes the original requestor does not even come back to read what you have written. One has to play by ear. Generally, if your reading has been correct, even the taciturn, seemingly disinterested ones come back, after months or even a year or two and those moments of confirmation/affirmation are so precious that you are energized for the next patch of desert or flying without feedback! I know it does not specifically answer your question about those who claim what they claim. I just assumed that you might not push away a view from the ground! :-) RR vedic astrology, "sr000g" <sr000g> wrote: > > Hello, > > How can astrologers claim that their predictions are accurate? Guest guest
able to give them more customized , focused and may be therefore more accurate predictions as we move along. This also helps me in finding out where I have gone wrong and I use learning from my mistakes to improve in case of other clients. Lastly I think that every astrologer may not be able to predict equally accurately in all the aspects. I have seen many using Prashna Kundali very accurately for lost objects or missing persons. One astrologer I know can predict which profession would be most suitable for a person and what kind of change he should make in the profession or which stocks he should purchase etc. As far as I am concerned I have realized that understating someones psychological pattern or any problems the person is facing psychologically using astrological techniques is something which I can do fairly accurately. Also I can tell with good accuracy details about someones matrimonial life. I think this has been possible apart from may other techniques i use , due to the feedback which I am taking from clients and the relationships I establish with client. I hope I have made my viewpoint clear. Regards, Anil Gogatesr000g <sr000g > wrote: Hello,How can astrologers claim that their predictions are accurate? Guest guest
Dear Anil Namaste Excellent post. It is equally satisfying to read that you do Jyotish Free of cost and have formed with your visitors('clinet' may sound paid one!)a long term relationship as a friend , a counselor , guide or just a well wisher or may be combination of all these. Just one question, in your service of helping others through Jyotish, have you ever experienced any visitor treating you as somebody with supernatural power? Kind of spiritual power and made you to feel like a 'Baba' or a 'Maharaj'? People coming to you and touching your feet to get good ashirwad! If so how do you handle such sitiuations. Please dont misunderstand me. I feel that those who are helping others through Jyotish have this trap of 'feeling great'. It may be because others start treating them to be a person with a super natural powers. As a senior and learned Jyotish your experiences about this may help many upworldy mobile jyotish!. Thanks a lot for your Time and Space. Guest guest
Are old doctors better protected against senility, then? Or is there a natural selection playing a part there? What about old doctors who are also astrologers? :-) RR vedic astrology, "R Satish" <rsatish1942> wrote: > > Ms Kamath, > > A sane advice, never go for help to a young doctor and an > old astrologer. One has inadequate experience, the other gets mixed up > and forgets easily, senility problems. > > Regards, > > Satish > > > > > > vedic astrology, Asha Kamath > <ashasangeeta> wrote: > > > > we have 2 astrologer friends. rati08
75 percent of people go to astrologer and get there predictions but after that no one goes to astrologer telling them that what they had predicted has not come true.I had experienced this when my friend wanted to get job 2 to 3 astrologer who are famous and do come television shows in india predicted about the time for her job, but no ones prediction came true:eek2: .Its waste of money and time . I had told her to contact those people to tell them that the prediction are wrong .But people are scared to go and tell that you are wrong. She had tried contacting astrologer expert in vedic astrology, KP and prasna kundali.Astrologer use to give her time frame when she will get job.But no luck so far. If any one knows any good astrologer in india whose prediction have come true let me know:rolleyes:
U.Sanjeeva Rao
rati08, Whether astrology is correct or not , your graphic expressions are good . U.Sanjeeva Rao
Dear Vijaymangal, Astrology is vast subject. With devoted concentration one has to study and also learn with respect from people who already spent enough time on this. It is just like any field of study.Different principles are used in different branches of astology like Horary(Inviduals),Prasna, Muhurtha ,Vastu,Naadi etc. Each has it's own relevance. A person who study one, the other branches take less time to understand. There is no qualification or religion or caste are involved. Some learn within their family by tradition. Some acquire by study through a teacher or by self. It is a tool to guide the person, community and nation when to do or not to do. It is to be used along with other factors prevalent at that time. Not necessary it is to be used always. It can be used while making important decisions and for important events. It is an integral part of Indian community used unknowingly like celebrating the festivals, marriage , birth etc.Prediction is only 1% of the Astrology. Hope you relish my thoughts.
