Guest guest
Hello Chandraji: There is some confusion as to "Jupiter in 2nd, harms the 2nd." You may be making an error saying this. I clearly remember reading in one of Sanjay's books and also seen discussed here that "Karak Bhava Naso" dictum doesn't apply to Jupiter and Sun, i.e. Jupiter in 9th and Sun in 9th enhance the qualities of the 9th house rather than destroy it. Can you please enlighten us with further explanations. Thanks. Mukund vedic astrology, Chandrashekhar <boxdel> wrote: > Dear Sunil, > It would. Guest guest
Dear Sir, One more issue, I have read that Sun in 9th house in enemy house or debiliated may harm father. In this case Karako bhava nasako theory is right. What do you say? How Sun enhances 9th house please explain. Guest guest
||Shri GaneshDattaGurubhyo Namah|| Namaskar Chandrashekharji and Mukundji, Mukundji, Sorry to butt in but I think sloka refered is sthana nasha where Jup is located and not related to Karko karka bhavat principle. Regarding Jup in 2nd house is very well explained by Shri Katwe in Guru Vichar (mostly Nala Raja have such Jup) and may be Chandrashekharji, Prabodhji can throw some light. (I'm not having his book with me) Even though I'm an amature I'll give try using above ref. Here 2nd H is 11th to 4th and Jup will reduce native's domestic happiness , it's 4th to 11thH and native will remain dissatified in life irrespective of whatever he gains. And 2nd is 2ndH to Asc hence direct bearings on Native. Jup in 2nd will cause Dhana nasha around age of 48, if I remember correctly (Ps cross check with Shri Katwe's Vicharmala) this will continue upto age of 60. Requestings Gurus to correct me and throw some light here. Guest guest
If i remember correctly, Jupiter in the 5th causes karaka bhava naasa esp in regards to children esp if jupiter is in his own house or exalted. There is a dictum that states Jupiter being in the 5th in cancer causes childlessness. Also, from what i remember, Sanjay-ji does in his book state Jupiter/Sun does not always cause karaka bhava naasa and he cites this 9th house example, which is correct. Guest guest
||Shri GaneshDattaGurubhyo Namah|| Namaskar Chandrashekharji , Thanks for the guidence. REgarding the dictum provided in old texts , there is always a confusion and but in this case I find it's showing correct results as per sloka even if we consider parents ,relatives from native's chart, but within limits. After observing this in real life , I'd tried to wrtie about it.So it's best to depends on practical results, as stated by you. Any way this is my personal opinion and I may be wrong also. Learned ones and Gurus may rectify me. Astrologers have different views on this. I go by the dictum of Jupiter harms the house he occupies and Saturn protects the house he occupies, even if he might not help the house. This is stated in old texts and I have given the shloka a number of times. I have always said that one must apply the principles to real life charts and find out for one self.Chandrashekhar.Vinay Patwardhan wrote: ||Shri GaneshDattaGurubhyo Namah|| Namaskar Chandrashekharji and Mukundji, Mukundji, Sorry to butt in but I think sloka refered is sthana nasha where Jup is located and not related to Karko karka bhavat principle. Guest guest
Dear Yogesh, You should have had a good period as Jupiter is in own house. Now doubt some problems could have been there as jupiter is also 11th lord , perhaps in second half of the Jup Antar. Some travel or even marriage, if not already married in 2003 as Jupiter had joined the 7th in transit then. Some problems regarding associates could have arisen in 2003. Chandrashekhar. Guest guest
Dear Shri Yogesh Though exalted, joining his shathru in 2nd wont be very good for Venus. Thus definitely some difficulties would had been there. Whenever jupiter and Venus are together in a bhava ,it will be like a tug of war.Venus as a yogakaraka, would had given some benefits during this jupiter antar. This benefit can be related to 7th house,11th house and 2nd.(transit wise) Moreover venus is in the navamsha of jupiter. If there was some - it might have happened during Venus-Jupiter-Venus.Apart from this benefit, difficulties could be possible w.r to 4th & 2nd houses throughout this antara. As Chandrashekhar ji has mentioned Jupiter being in own sign will never spoil the second indications in total, though it will take you through really tough phases. Ashtama shani would had given some mental worries as well.I have seen another chart where guru and venus are in 2nd house (dhanu).Venus suffers from kendra dosha(7th ownership) and being placed in 2nd boosting the same. Thus jupiter antardasha in venus dasha was really bad,but jupiter being the lord of 5th joining 7th lord venus ,there was rajayoga w.r to husband during this period(Ladies chart). Also in that case jupiter being a trinal lord helped Venus to a great extent in diluting the kendra/maraka dosha. In your case there are no such kendra doshas.Slight dosha out of 4th lordship will be overcomed by a great extent due to 9th lordship, though will remain in slight quantities, being in 2nd. In general i feel ,apart from isolated gains the antara would had been troublesome.Venus has low shadbala. Thanks Pradeep vedic astrology, "nameisego" <nameisego> wrote: > > > Hello Yogesh, > Self has always believed in dictum > "Bhava Nasha Karo Jeeva Bhava Vriddhi karau Shani" > This dictum says that your family life must have been greatly got > affected and peace destroyed due to Guru in 2nd. > Also financial losses are indicated . > > Tatvam-Asi > > > > > vedic astrology, Chandrashekhar <boxdel> > wrote: > > Dear Yogesh, > > You should have had a good period as Jupiter is in own house. Guest guest
Dear Mr. Trivedi: Does this dictum about Jupiter apply to its placement in birth chart or Jupiter in 2nd from Moon during transit? The reason I ask is because all the classics say that Jupiter transiting 2nd from Moon gives very good results. But, the dictum you noted below says opposite. I'm quite sure your dictum applies to birth chart rather than transit, but please confirm. Thanks. Guest guest
Dear Chandrashekhar, It's in COVA that when Jupiter occupies 2nd house, it will not count for karaka bhava nyasa. By the way, I have Jupiter in 2nd house. Any questions? Yours, Dhira Krsna dasa, Jyotishi http://www.radhadesh.com http://www.geocities.com/dvdd1008/Jyotisha.html
Guest guest
Hello Mukund ji, Yes your understanding isright. It pertains to Janma Kundali . Just the day before, this was proved by an old client who has Jupiter in 2nd house. He not only incurred losses of Millions of rupees but also is on verge of Bancruptcy. He forced his mother to sell off premium properties and after selling it she lives in a small flat in Bombay. He sold off shop and is now at home. Guest guest
Dear Chandrashekhar ji ,Vishnu Ji & Trivedi Ji My mother has Jupiter in 2nd(Dhanu) along with Venus.Venus being a maraka/Kendradhipathi has brought difficulties by itself. But such were reduced to a great extent due to 5th lordship of jupiter.Similar to your observation, dhana indications were severely affected as she lost lot of properties. But as jupiter being in own sign and by Gods grace, the bhava was never spoiled. Moreover Jupiter & Venus brought rajayoga results for husband due to 7th&5th ownerships, during Venus dasha/Jupiter antar, though this antara was worse otherwise. Guest guest
Dear Sri Pradeep, In my case neither was dhana nor was education affected but family was destroyed. Interestingly, my Jupiter dasa is to start in 2009 with it being in Mrityu Shashtiamsa and in 3rd(marana karaka sthana) in D-60. In my D-1 its lord of GL(ghatika lagna) and in D-10 its with GL. It could mean rise in profession but probable destruction of family life! who knows! warm regards, Vishnu --- vijayadas_pradeep <vijayadas_pradeep wrote: > Dear Chandrashekhar ji ,Vishnu Ji & Trivedi Ji > > My mother has Jupiter in 2nd(Dhanu) along with Venus.Venus being a > maraka/Kendradhipathi has brought difficulties by itself. > But such were reduced to a great extent due to 5th lordship of > jupiter.Similar to your observation, dhana indications were severely > affected as she lost lot of properties. But as jupiter being in own > sign and by Gods grace, the bhava was never spoiled. Moreover Jupiter > & Venus brought rajayoga results for husband due to 7th&5th > ownerships, during Venus dasha/Jupiter antar, though this > antara was worse otherwise. > > Thanks > Pradeep > > vedic astrology, Chandrashekhar <boxdel> > wrote: > > Dear Vishnu, > > The dictum rarely fails. > > Chandrashekhar. > > > > Vishnu Jandhyala wrote: > > > > > || Hare Rama Krishna || > > > Dear Sri Chandrashekhar & Dhira, > > > > > > I have Jupiter in 2nd in moolatrikona.
