Lakshman.Shiva Posted August 12, 2008 Report Share Posted August 12, 2008 It is said that Garuda puranam should not be kept or read at anytime except when a death occurs at a home, you can read it within ten days of that time.Since it describes about the soul's journey after death it is not auspicious to read it.
