  1. I am only telling you this, in case you are interested in the truth. And I really think that the stuff you do is both offensive and a waste of time. Face it, the Gaudiyas make outrageous claims which are not supported by any true Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita or Brahma-sutra. In fact, they are even doing that which is considered a heresy, worshipping an ordinary jiva as God. And, any text that you can come up with is either recently fabricated or the translation is incorrect. As I showed in the example with the Bhagavata verse before. Being a Srivaishnava, I know there are people in my sampradaya who believe that various acharyas, etc., were incarnations of various nitya-suris (or nitya-siddhas as you call them). But no Srivaishnava is required to believe in those things. It is entirely optional and many Srivaishnavas don´t believe in the alleged incarnations literally. Some saint or acharya may have exhibited qualities that reminded one of a certain nitya-suri for example. In that sense he embodied certain aspects of that divinity. But it is not a dogma in the same way that one cannot be a Caitanya Vaishnava without believing that he literally is "Krishna with the mood of Radha".
  2. Sorry, Pankaja. This is exactly what I am talking about. This doesn´t prove the existence your Radha. Only if you prior to reading this text have a Radha conception, then it is possible to read that into the verse. But all it talks about is that a gopi who adored Krishna was taken to a secluded place by Him.
  3. Do you accept what I have shown YOU so far? Are you humble enough to accept that Bhagavaram 11.5.32 does not refer to Caitanya? Read the analysis of the verse and then tell me if you still maintain that it refers to Caitanya. And if so, why? Regarding the Radha issue, how can I quote vedic texts about her, when they do not exist? And why should I even bother to try to prove that Krishna is the avatara of Vishnu/Narayana? It is just too well known by everyone who knows even a little about the Vedas!
  4. http://dvaita.info/pipermail/dvaita-list_dvaita.info/2005-June/000865.html Here is the correct link Bhava Dasa.
  5. He signed the comment with how own name. Have you read it at all or are you too afraid to realize what the Bhagavatam verse really means?
  6. My reply to this is that "why are Gaudiya Acharyas going against the Vedas and previous acharyas? Including their "own" Madhvacharya? Saying that you are part of the Madhva line is only accepted by yourselves, not by the Madhvas.
  7. You expect correct answers, based on the scriptures. But as I have already said, I am not a pandit and I don´t have the answers to everything and neither do you. So, common sense tells me that theoretically the jivas can stay bound forever, since they always have a free choice. Do you follow? On the other hand, who wants to stay in this world forever?
  8. Was Premananda Bharati initiated into any of the lineages from Sri Caitanya´s followers?
  9. It is remarkable that Premananda Bharati coined the phrase Krishna Consciousness, which is a part of the name International Society for Krishna Consciousness. Did A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami read Premananda Bharati´s books perhaps?
  10. Yes they certainly do. Several of the Alwar saints were not brahmanas, but even shudras, for example. And they are adored by all Srivaishnavas.
  11. Yes, Srivaishnavas don´t make distinctions like that. All souls who wish to study and surrender to Sriman Narayana can do so. In some branches, however, they do not give upanayanam or pranava (aum) to non-brahmanas! But in our branch (tengalai) we do not agree with those practises.
  12. There is also a Sri vaishnava in Australia, who gives initiations, Sri Rama Ramanujacharya. http://www.srimatham.com
  13. Yes. Especially Chinna Jeeyar: http://www.chinnajeeyar.org/
  14. I suggest you write the owner of the site and ask. He may even have audio files of the lectures. As far as I know, they are raganugas with all that involves.
  15. There is even a book in English by Premananda Bharati, called Sri Krishna I think.
  16. These questions are not easily answered. God is so great that we can´t know everything about Him nor understand why some souls never even become entangled in karma but eternally remain servants of Sriman Narayana - nitya suris (based on statements in the Vedas). The souls who have become liberated are called jivan muktas. The karma bound souls are called baddha jivas. Since I am not a great pandit I can only tell you what I learnt so far. We are all eternal and the universes of material nature (which also are eternal) are created in cycles. So there is no one beginning or a final end. As far as I know there is no definite answer to the question you are asking. But if you find out, let me know.
  17. 1: Yes, it is really quite simple. But we are speaking about the "place" where the Lord of infinite, amazing and wonderful qualities is in the absolute center - Narayana - and where the very personification of devotion, Lakshmi, forever serves and adores and loves, assisted by all the souls who reached there and those who have never come down, the nitya-suris. 2: Everything has its origin in and is a part of and will ultimately go to the intelligent designer called God. All jivas have free will and get free choice to do whatever they please, but always experience the results of their actions. There are material coverings around the jivas that are under the influence of their karma, but there is no fall from Vaikuntha, as this is against the scriptures and common sense. If God is what all the sadhus, gurus and scriptures say, we could never turn away from Him! Therefore, it seems, we have not really seen God face to face but when we do so there is no risk that you will want anything else.
  18. 1: No planets. One spiritual world - Vaikuntha. 2: No fall. 3: Theoretically, the jiva can stay forever in samsara, considering the free will. But I think that all jivas will go to the spiritual world, sooner or later, because the jiva can never feel true happiness here and this place is not its eternal home.
  19. Actually there is one who visited Germany. A descendant of Nityananda Prabhu. Premgopal Goswami. Here are some of their gurus: gaurasundar.com/index3.htm
  20. I am not on a mission to disprove Gaudiya Vaishnavism as some might be thinking here. There are many things that are true in GV. But those truths and others, which are lacking in Gaudiya Vaishnavism, are already present in Srivaishnavism. I am not the only ex-Gaudiya to convert to Srivaishnavism. Gaura Keshava dasa, a senior Prabhupada disciple, also converted to Srivaishnavism and he still is a SV, just like me. A friend of mine who is a sanskrit teacher and has translated the Bhagavad Gita, ex ISKCON member, also converted to Srivaishnavism. We do not make up our own scriptures or twist their meaning to suit our own purpose. We are only interested in the spiritual reality, not theories or fairy tales.
