To bring them out of the opression; I dont think animals were originally dull-minded; we just lost our ability to communicate with them since they dont communicate verbally; and humans started seeing them as unintelligent, when it was really humans who became unintelligent (only capable of communicating with each other through language).

radharani,Of those animals that are roaming free from human interference, do you imagine they are out there actively trying to raise their consciousness in some way?
I see animals as children in a way, they need to be nurtured and cared for, in order for their intelligence to develop. Belief is a powerful thing and believing animals are unintelligent purely instinctual creatures continues that cycle and creates opression. I see the negative qualites in animals as reflections of negative qualites in humans, not the other way around.
When humans are forced into survival mode they become instinctual creatures too.

i'd like to be able to follow my advice more often; chanting seems like ignoring the problem (whatever is causing the anger). . . maybe chanting is a way of tending to it instead, like tending a growing plant, instead of ripping it out of the ground? But I feel like people would rather have a true response, than one which may feel condescending to the more sensitive.

Also sage tea is supposed to be good for infections, if you drink a whole lot of it; you're supposed to drink it as hot as possible, as much as you can stand, and then go to bed. Also, this may have the effect of causing sweating, to 'sweat out' the infection.

Acupuncture! It worked for me!
(But if she is sensitive, be careful what acupuncturist you go to, since it puts your body's energy in a very open state, and you can be affected by the imbalances of those around you when you are in this open state, I think.)

I dont see animals as dull at all. I see them as opressed.

My experience has been that to love God more thoroughly, I have to suffer; it does not end my suffering to love Krsna, it does increase it.

also, there is more than one way to be fiery with anger . . .

maybe labeling without attachment would be a good method? (for example, labeling some behavior as ignorance, but without condemnation of the person or judgement?) many of us are still learning . . .
also finding humor can be good. so, the guy's calling krsna, 'that blue god'.
so what? the person's attitude when they are speaking only shows where they are spiritually, it is no reason to condemn or get angry, right? if they are doing anything other than purely ignoring krsna and various things about krsna, then it may only be a latent interest, that they are hindered from expressing in a more direct way.

Thank you for asking your friend about my thoughts. And I think Oprah is right, you have to dream it before you can do it.
I think these are the best occupations for the mind, the heart, and the soul, to have-- idealistic visualization with a clear knowledge of reality as it is, devotion in its highest form, and the perfection of will. So I think I agree with your friend, but I like the way he said it better.

ok, more like 50-50, but the bad feels so much worse than the good, that it seems like more; hopefully it's just my karma being worked out and someday it'll be all good!

Good one. Believe me,looks are deceptive. If He is really interested in the welfare of all, then why dont He remove the ignorance of the suufering living entities ?
'cause it takes time to weave a whole new blanket when the old one gets worn out; and the old one is still comfortable and providing warmth, and so it's hard to let it go

I would say intuition is the ability to see the patterns emerging in life before the pattern is complete. We experience so many events that enter and leave our lives, and they create a certain pattern through time.
This sounds more like logic to me.

a woman has to be willing to say no when she knows the man is wrong, and if she is honorable in all other areas, why would he doubt her?
-
it would help if women shaped up, i bet; and i dont mean goin to the gym

but then i guess there's the real radharani there with him; it's just a joke between me and krnsa, i call myself radharani because he pays me so much attention (not all good or pleasant, mostly not)
-
seems like krsna would get awfully tired of being the only one at the top

Me and Krsna are in an argument. He thinks (or has thought, in the past)its ok to kill animals, and I think the cycle of death should stop.
This makes me have anger feelings, or indifference toward him more often than love. I know about the karma of the animals, because they killed (as humans or as animals), then they have to be killed and all that. But I think that nonsense should all just end. Begin a cycle of compassion rather than retribution. Yet he is the all-powerful one and so I have to deal with that as I have my opinions about him.

he probably just absorbed fear from somewhere else, maybe an animal that was about to be killed, and felt fear.

(i think i am more attached to my bodies than most people are, maybe!); i think, like in my last dream-post (about someone else's death that i experienced in a dream), my consciousness sticks around until my body is completely gone, or at least sometimes. I dont think death is the same experience every time, or for everyone; i think there are as many ways to experience death as there are ways to experience life, perhaps.

When to be angry?

Each person's body is a temple (in my view)and it makes me *just as mad* to see them all polluting their own temples (with meat, alcohol, etc)
