  1. The reason is poverty. A male is a bread winner and protector of the family. A family who has hard time to earn enough to eat, will get a great burden if a female is born who cannot earn decently. un-decent earning - prostitution - is not acceptable even to such poor families. All who abort feel a great sorrow and guilt.

A Gov, can punish abortors only if the Gov can provide jobs and earning for all families. Till then, teh law of karma takes care.

Additionally, all who protest abortion strongly, need to give promise to take care of the children slated for abortion while it is in the womb and after it is born. if they do not do it, then their protest really has no meaning.

None of a protestor interest is attacked or violated or robbed by an aborter, unless the protestor is the husband of a woman who wants to abort. If so, then it is a family matter, not a world issue.

    hope this helps.

Sure abortion is sin for the aborter, but not for the protestor. a protestor is a neutral party in the law of karma of other family's abortion.

  3. jati or caste or varna is a social classification.

social clasifications exist in all the societies.

The names of each class is diffrent in different socities, but a society cannot function without social classifications.

What Krishna did as God in the beginning of creation is classifed people in four vedic classes: brahmana, kshatriya, vaishya, and shudra. he tells in gita what ar the duties of these classes. The purpose of this was that all get equal oppertunity to realize god. This purpose is very unique of the Vedic society.

Then after one born in a class easily picked up the gunas and karma of his father. So, he was accepted as belonging to that class. Additionally, there was gurukula education system where one lived with a guru for 25 year and studied while remining a brahmachari. The guru, knowing the disciple for 25 years, would tell him what varna one is, and the student would identify belonging to that varna, and do his karma accordingly.

The past life's guna/karma do influence present life, but guna and karma of the present life are the measures to classify one's varna. This happens in all the socities.

when the vedic society deteriorated, where there was no qualifed brahmana, then the society began accepting sons of brahmanas as brahmanas, as there was need/demand for them.

In US, I have seen some acting as poojari/brahmana but have no guna and karna of a brahmana. They are just an oppertunitst/businessmen who grabbed the demand situation when there was no real brahmana available.

We need to push them to become true brahmana, or replace them with true brahmanas.

    Hope this helps.

  4. To the anti-hindus, the value is zero.

To the pro hindus, it is worth fighting for.

    Democracy gives power to majority.

If we Hindus are majority in Bharat,

we need to get control of the government, police, and military, and make the nation pro-hindu.

Has any one drafted yet a pro-Hindu constitution of Bharat?

A need is to draft it, finalize it, and post it on a web.

It will give focus and direction to the Hindus.

Post it in Hindi and a few other languages, not english, of Bharat.

  5. << dear maadhav sir, you first stated this line,

"per bhagavatam, saraswati is brahma's daughter."

Then you asked "when did brahma marry?" >>

I gave the clarification, but somehow it did not come on the web. So let me give it again.

I did not ask the question "when did brahma married"

to find out the date/time. I know brahma never married, and so was challenging the other guy to prove he married.

he will not be ab eto prove, so he will know that saraswati is not brahma's wife.

The question was a challange, not a inquirey.

  6. the difficulty is,

any fool can come and write nonselse about hinduism.

there is no way to know who is the authority and who is not.

we need our own Hindu encyclopedia controleld by a Hindu authority org. Then tell the wporld where to find correct info about hinduism.

for the seekers of truth (as the hindus ought to be)

there is no motivtion to go and find it in wikipedia.

  7. i do not know these words, but if these are the lamps placed out in the times of dipawali, then i coudl tell the symbolic meaning.

per vedic literature we tell the world and the death:

    shruNvantu vishve, amritasya putraaH.

(o world, listen. we are the children of immortality.)

By placing a lamp at the door we tell to yamaraaj (god of death), Oh death come if you may. we are not afraid of you. we have lived per dharma the whole year, and are fearless, we are immortal (as the soul.)

    hope it helps.

  8. << Truth will support each other, Lies don't. >>

liers support eacothers lies when they have unity.

    many still support AIT.

when one knows another that another loves one and cares,

    then one would trust another.

    one trusts one's mother.

one trusts one's guru when chosen.

trust is like or related to shrddaa.

    and krishna sys:

    shradaavaana pabhate gyaanam.
