  1. Why we must preach strongly against cheaters ... Choosing a bonafide guru is the most important action in spiritual life. If someone chooses a cheater as a guru, both of them will run down to hell. ekadäsat-prasangän nikrta-matir vyudaka-srotah-skhalanavad ubhayato 'pi duhkhadam päkhandam abhiyäti. (A.C.Bhaktivedänta Swämi Prabhupäda, SB 5.14.13) TRANSLATION Sometimes, to mitigate distresses in this forest of the material world, the conditioned soul receives cheap blessings from atheists. He then loses all intelligence in their association. This is exactly like jumping in a shallow river. As a result one simply breaks his head. He is not able to mitigate his sufferings from the heat, and in both ways he suffers. The misguided conditioned soul also approaches so-called sädhus and svämis who preach against the principles of the Vedas. He does not receive benefit from them, either in the present or in the future. PURPORT Cheaters are always there to manufacture their own way of spiritual realization. To get some material benefit, the conditioned soul approaches these pseudo sannyäsis and yogis for cheap blessings, but he does not receive any benefit from them, either spiritual or material. They even create gold to amaze their followers, and their followers accept them as God. This type of cheating is very prominent in Kali-yuga. In this age there are many cheaters who show some jugglery and magic. Visvanätha Cakravarti Thäkura describes the real guru in this way. samsära-dävänala-lidha-loka- tränäya kärunya-ghanäghanatvam präptasya kalyäna-gunärnavasya vande guroh sri-caranäravindam One should approach a guru who can extinguish the blazing fire of this material world, the struggle for existence, people want to be cheated, and therefore they go to yogis and svämis who play tricks, but tricks do not mitigate the miseries of material life. If being able to manufacture gold is a criterion for becoming God, then why not accept Krsna, the proprietor of the entire universe, wherein there are countless tons of gold? As mentioned before, the color of gold is compared to the will-o'-the-wisp or yellow stool; therefore one should not be allured by gold-manufacturing gurus but should sincerely approach a devotee like Jada Bharata. Jada Bharata instructed Rahügaëa Mahäräja so well that the King was relieved from the bodily conception. One cannot become happy by accepting a false guru. A guru should be accepted as advised in Srimad-Bhägavatam (11.3.21). Tasmäd gurum prapadyeta jijnäsuh sreya uttamam: One should approach a bona fide guru to inquire about the highest benefit of life. Such a guru is described as follows: säbde pare ca nisnätam. Such a guru does not manufacture gold or juggle words. He is well versed in the conclusions of Vedic knowledge (vedais ca sarvair aham eva vedyah [bg. 15.15]). He is freed from all material contamination and is fully engaged in Krsna's service. If one is able to obtain the dust of the lotus feet of such a guru, his life becomes successful. Otherwise he is baffled both in this life and in the next.
  2. avatära nähi kahe—‘ämi avatära’ muni saba läni’ kare lakshana-vicära (Caitanya Mahaprabhu, CC Madhya 20.354) Translation : “An actual incarnation of God never says ‘I am God’ or ‘I am an incarnation of God.’ The great sage Vyäsadeva, knowing all, has already recorded the characteristics of the avatäras in the shästras. Purport : In this verse it is clearly stated that a real incarnation of God never claims to be a real incarnation. According to the symptoms described in the sästra, one can understand who is an avatära and who is not. Conclusion : (Sai Baba is not mentioned in any Vedic Scriptures, therefore he is not an incarnation of God). Nitai Gaur Hari Bol

    vairaga

Dear Guest, Please try to understand that it is not easy to leave home and become an ascetic in Kali Yuga. To become a perfect vairagi, one must know vairagya vidya (or , the proper knowledge related to detachment.). This knowledge can be found in bhagavad gita. But since you want to learn especially about detachment, I would suggest that you go through these books (just right s and select 'Save As') Science of Self Realization : http://www.krishna.com/e-books/Science_of_Self-Realization.pdf Journey of Self Discovery : http://www.krishna.com/e-books/Journey_of_Self_Discovery.pdf Perfect Questions Perfect Answers : http://www.krishna.com/e-books/Perfect_Questions_Perfect_Answers.pdf Dont try to be a vairagi according to the whims of your mind. That will be a failure. Read these books and Bhagavad Gita properly. You will learn how one can be a good vairagi even while staying as a householder. that is called yukta vairagya. The other vairagya which one makes up in his own mind is called phalgu vairagya, and it does not last long. Your Servant, Harshad..
  4. Forget that episode, another government officer in India (Uttar Pradesh) has claimed that he is God himself. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/articleshow/1303330.cms So, maybe now, we can marry the newly incarnated Radha and Krishna ?? /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
  5. To all devotees, Please visit our new website http://www.iskconyouth.net Designed for the spiritually inclined youth... Dasanudasa, Harshad.
  6. You can read Bhagavad Gita or other books by Prabhupada These books are available at : http://www.hare-krishna.org/srila-prabhupada-books.htm Bhagavad Gita in PDF Format : http://www.krishna.com/e-books/Bhagavad-gita_As_It_Is.pdf
  7. The Non Vedic Religions are as follows : 1) Hinduism (it is not exactly vedic, but a deviation from vedic dharma. In technical language, it is called Asuri Varnashrama Dharma). 2) Islam (It was founded by Mohammed under the order of the Lord, and it encourages meat eating for those who have a tremendous desire to do so). 3) Christianity (Though it has many similarities with Vedic dharma, it has been degraded because Chrisitians eat meat, and they do not find it sinful. They think that animals are meant to be eaten by them. They reject the "Thou Shalt Not Kill" commandment. They also seem to have the misconception that Jesus Christ was the ONE AND ONLY son of God.Also, they seem to have the misconception that weekdays are meant for sinful activites and weekends are meant to go to church and confess to Christ to forgive them, so that they can repeat those same activites in the next weekdays.) 4) Buddhism (It was founded by Lord Buddha, who is an incarnation of Krishna. When the people of India started slaughtering animals by misinterpreting the Vedic rituals, Lord Buddha appeared. He declared the Vedic scriptures to be false and started his own religion. Thus, the people in general gave up the Vedic Dharma and took up Buddhism. In this way, Lord Buddha prevented them from committing further sinful activities in the name of Vedic Dharma.) These are four religions which are not exactly vedic. All these religions are also lacking disciplic successions. Hence, they are becoming degraded over time...
  8. You can try reading the book Civilization and Transcendence by His Divine Grace A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada by clicking on the Hare Krishna Books Link above. Download the book (and the fonts required to view the book) and then read the book. It discusses some of the issues in traditional asuri varnashrama dharma (also known as Hinduism)

  10. Those who talk of dharma should first themselves know what dharma is. The dharma of a kshatriya is to fight - that we accept. BUT ARE YOU A KSHATRIYA ???? Are you trained according to such principles ??? In the scriptures, it is said, kalau südra-sambhavat. Translation : In the age of Kali everyone will be like südras. So, before saying that you will go and kill the muslims like a kshatriya and Krishna will be happy about it, try thinking what your position in the varnasrama system is ... If you are an ordinary person who is not trained as a kshatriya, if you are still addicted to one of the four pillars of sinful activity, then there is no question of being a kshatriya. True kshatriya means he can alone defeat tens and thousands of men by the power of his training. Can you do that ??? If no, then there is no use of saying that you will fight. What is the benefit to "HINDUISM" if one group of shudras fight against another group of shudras ??? The hindus of today eat meat, drink tea(intoxicant) and perform many illicit activities and still call themselves hindus. That is why, they are not qualified to fight. They are all on the level of shudra and therefore, they are meant to perform the yuga dharma -- "HARI NAAM SANKIRTANA"... That will solve the problem gradually but surely. -- Dasanudasa, Harshad.
  11. No, the correct prophecy is that, in every town and village, Hare Krishna will be chanted. "Then India will conquer all over the world by this Krsna culture. Rest assured....." - Srila Prabhupäda (Pandal Lectures)
  12. Prithivite achhe yata nagarädi gräm Sarvatra prachär haibe more näma - (Sri Chaitanya Mahäprabhu) Translation : "In every town and village on this earth the glories of My name will be chanted." Why are you people afraid ?? Read this poem Written by Dina Bandhu Prabhu (Krishna Balaram Mandir, Vrindavana) : nama om visnu-pädäya krsna-presthäya bhü-tale srimate bhaktivedänta-svämin iti nämine namas te särasvate deve gaura-väni-pracärine nirvisesa-sünyavädi-päscätya-desa-tärine Our dearest Srila Prabhupäda, On this most holy, blessed day, Along with those around the world we pray, Falling humbly at your feet, Your sacred glories we repeat, Like lamp lit unto morning sun Or Gangä's worship with water done. Our mind is stretched beyond the sky; How can we ever glorify That mercy that you’ve given? But still today we're driven To offer words as tiny measure, In vain hope it may give you pleasure. At three score years and ten, You left this holy land, Where endless waves of bliss Are flowing due to this: Sri Rädhikä and Syäma Sport in this sacred dhäma. Set sail for foreign land With your divine command To spread the holy name As freely as the rain To those who are not fit, Entrapped in Kali's grip. Prithivite äche yata Nagarädi-gräma Sarvatra pracära Hoibe mora näma. Five hundred years have flown Since Caitanya made this known. But some of them had guessed The ones that would be blessed Were each and ev'ry town In Nadiä around. Or maybe in Bengal— That certainly was all. Orissa, too, they said, Is where the name might spread. In Bhärata-varsa, maybe, But not across the sea. The Thäkura did not agree: "Why not beyond the sea? If Caitanya's Lord of all, Let all lands hear his call!" And so he got a son, To get the service done. A lion among the saints; The mäyävädi faints; In you he marked the sign: "He'll do the work in time." He made you this request: To get the whole world blessed. ‘Twas you, our Prabhupäda, Who crossed the ocean broad. To every continent The holy name was sent, Giving joy to all, With Lord Gauräìga’s call. “ ‘Tis very great indeed," Some of them agreed. “The name has crossed the sea, To the world that's free. But in the Soviet, They’ll surely say, 'Nyet.'" That day I'll not forget— Remembering, my eyes are wet: The Russians came—sixty— And danced in your samädhi, Beyond their wildest dream, Beside Yamunä’s stream. We are so very low; The Lord we do not know. The Vaisnava, we have heard, Is he who should be served. But to such a one as you, How can we give what's due? We only hope and pray, Our debt we can repay, That when your servants come To your home, Vrndävana-dhäma, By service of their feet, Your mercy we will meet. ALSO The following are ten verses from the Brahma-vaivarta Purana that were spoken by Lord Krishna to Mother Ganga just before the beginning of Kali yuga (the age of quarrel and strife). Kali yuga began approximately five thousand years ago, and it has a duration of 432,000 years, leaving us with 427,000 till the end of the present age. [For a description of Kali yuga, please read the related article "Predictions for the age of Kali".] Within this 432,000 year period, there is a period of 10,000 years that will be a golden age. That golden age is being described below by Lord Sri Krishna. This text is taken from the Brahma-vaivarta Purana. Text 49 bhagarathy uvaca he natha ramanashreshtha yasi golokamuttamam asmakam ka gatishcatra bhavishyati kalau yuge Translation Ganges said: O protector, Supreme enjoyer, on your departure for the perfect abode, Goloka, thereafter what will be my situation in the age of kali? Text 50 sri-bhagavan uvaca kaleh pancasahasrani varshani tishtha bhutale papani papino yani tubhyam dasyanti snanatah Translation The blessed Lord said: On the earth 5,000 years of kali will be sinful and sinners will deposit their sins in you by bathing. Comments: We have presently passed through just over 5,000 years of Kali yuga. As was predicted by Lord Krishna, this period from the end of the previous age to the present comprising 5,000 years was a period of great degradation and darkness. The great and ancient Vedic culture of India was lost and the so-called followers became ritualistic practitioners, interested only in the bodily conception of life. The four pillars of spiritual life, namely truthfulness, austerity, cleanliness, and mercy are practically nonexistent today, even in the so-called holy sites of pilgrimage. The general mass of people have no interest in God, and any remnant of religion they might still follow is simply for the purpose of economic development. In the name of God so many sinful acts are being carried out throughout the world. Killing of innocent animals, intoxication, illicit sex, and gambling have become common and "natural" activities supported by the governments and religions of the world. All of these points confirm Lord Krishna's prediction regarding the first 5,000 years of the Kali yuga. Text 51 man-mantropasakasparshad bhasmibhutani tatkshanat bhavishyanti darsanacca snanadeva hi jahnavi Translation Thereafter by the sight and touch of those who worship me by my mantra, all those sins will be burnt. Comments: Lord Krishna has said that for 5,000 years mother Ganga will purify the sinful inhabitants of the earthly planet in the age of Kali. But where will those accumulated sinful reactions go? Therefore Krishna says here that those sinful reactions, accumulated for thousands of years will all be burnt to ashes simply by a moments touch of a pure devotee of the Lord. The word tatksanat indicates that immediately the reactions are destroyed. A moments glimpse of a pure devotee is enough to purify the heart of a sinful man in this age of Kali. Even mother Ganga is blessed and purified by the association of the Lords devotees, so what to speak of fallen souls like ourselves. We must take every opportunity to associate with the Lord's pure devotees. This is the process of sadhu-sanga, or sat-sanga. Through association with the saints, we come in contact directly with the Supreme Lord. If we have such a great fortune to associate with the saintly devotees of the Lord, our heart will be purified of all the sinful reactions accumulated from countless lifetimes. In this verse Krishna defines who are those pure devotees: man-mantropasaka, "one who is doing upasana, or worship, of Krishna by chanting Krishna's mantra." Krishna says literally "My mantra", man-mantra. This mantra Krishna is referring to is the Hare Krishna maha-mantra: hare krishna hare krishna krishna krishna hare hare hare rama hare rama rama rama hare hare It should be noted that Krishna does not say mother Ganga will be purified by yogis. Nor does he say she will be purified by jnanis. Nor by rishis, tapasvis, siddhas or a host of other saintly minded men. Krishna says it will be His pure devotees (bhaktas) who chant the Hare Krishna maha-mantra that will purify mother Ganga and the entire age of Kali. Only the chanting of Krishna's holy name is powerful enough to purify this present age of Kali. Therefore only the Lord's devotees have the power to bring about the golden age within Kali yuga. Text 52 harernamani yatraiva puranani bhavanti hi tatra gatva savadhanam abhih sarddham ca shroshyasi Translation There will be chanting of the name of Hari and reading of the [bhagavata] Purana. Reaching such a place, attentively hear. Comments: Here Lord Krishna describes the activities within the golden age that will purify the Kali yuga. First and foremost is the chanting of Lord Krishna's name, indicated by the words harernamani. This is further confirmed in the Brihad-naradiya Purana as follows: harer nama harer nama harer namaiva kevalam kalau nastyeva nastyeva nastyeva gatir anyata "In the age of Kali there is no other way to achieve the supreme destination of life other than by chanting the names of Lord Hari (Krishna). There is no other way, no other way, no other way." The second activity that Lord Krishna describes is the reading of the Bhagavata Purana, or Srimad Bhagavatam. The reading of Srimad Bhagavatam is especially recommended by the great sage Vyasadeva for purification of the heart: srinvatam sva kathah krishnah punya-sravana-kirtanah hridy antah stho hy abhadrani vidhunoti suhrit satam "By hearing and reciting the sacred narrations of the pastimes of Lord Krishna (within the Srimad Bhagavatam), all the bad qualities within one's heart are cleansed." Elsewhere it is stated: nashta-prayushv abhadreshu nityam bhagavata-sevaya bhagavaty uttama-shloke bhaktir bhavati naishthiki "By daily reading Srimad Bhagavatam and by rendering service to the pure devotees, all that is troublesome to the heart is almost completely destroyed, and loving devotional service unto the Personality of Godhead is established as an irrevocable fact." The present age is simply a reflection of the hearts of millions of living entities on the earthly planet. Because our hearts are polluted by kama (lust), krodha (anger), lobha (greed) and matsarya (envy), therefore the present age is called the age of quarrel. It is not that we are bad because the age is bad, but rather the age is bad because our hearts are impure. The cure for a polluted heart is described above: daily reading of the Srimad Bhagavatam. If the entire population were to take up the reading of the sacred text of Srimad Bhagavatam, everyone's heart would be purified and the age of Kali would no longer be able to influence the world. Therefore in the present age the need of the hour is to distribute the most sacred book Srimad Bhagavatam to the entire humanity. The Srimad Bhagavatam is not an ordinary book, but it is directly an incarnation of the Lord: idam bhagavatam nama puranam brahma-sammitam uttama-shloka-caritam cakara bhagavan rishih nihsreyasaya lokasya dhanyam svasty-ayanam mahat “This Srimad Bhagavatam is the literary incarnation of God, and it is compiled by Srila Vyasadeva, the incarnation of God. It is meant for the ultimate good of all people, and it is all-successful, all blissful and all-perfect.” Srimad Bhagavatam is defined as brahma sammitam because it is the sound representative of Brahman, the absolute truth. Text 53 purana shravanaccaiva harernamanukirtanat bhasmibhutani papani brahma-hatyadikani ca Translation Sinful reactions including the killing of a brahmana can be nullified by hearing the Purana and chanting of the names of Hari in the manner of devotees. Text 54 bhasmibhutani tanyeva vaishnavalinganena ca trinani shushkakashthani dahanti pavako yatha Translation Just as dry grass is burnt by fire, by the embrace of My devotees all sins are burnt. Text 55 tathapi vaishnava loke papani papinamapi prithivyam yani tirthani punyanyapi ca jahnavi Translation O Ganges, the whole planet will become a pilgrimage sight by the presence of My devotees, even though it had been sinful. Text 56 madbhaktanam sharireshu santi puteshu samtatam madbhaktapadarajasa sadyah puta vasundhara Translation In the body of my devotees remains eternally [the purifier]. Mother earth becomes pure by the dust of the feet of my devotees. Text 57 sadyah putani tirthani sadyah putam jagattatha manmantropasaka vipra ye maducchishtabhojinah Translation It will be the same in the case of pilgrimage sights and the whole world. Those intelligent worshipers of my mantra who partake My remnants will purify everything. Comments: In this verse the words maducchishtabhojinah are very significant. Krishna states that those who chant His Hare Krishna maha-mantra and eat His remnants (mad- ucchishtabhojinah ) will purify the world. Human life is meant for performing sacrifice because sacrifice develops transcendental knowledge. In the ancient times the great Kings of India would perform very costly and magnificent sacrifices buy offering items into a sacred fire. Even gold and costly jewels were offered into the fire as an offering to God. In the present age such forms of sacrifice are not possible, so the shastras prescribe a simpler form of sacrifice more suitable for the present age by which we may develop transcendental knowledge and advance in spiritual life The first aspect of this sacrifice involves the chanting of the names of Krishna, as that will correct any deficiencies in our other services to the Lord due to improper circumstances, impure ingredients, irregular timing, etc. The age of Kali is an ocean of faults. One such fault is that in this age everything is impure. It is impossible to properly perform any sacred activity, as the impurity of the age has affected the entire atmosphere, from the subtle (inner) down to the physical (external). Therefore all sacred activities in the age of Kali must be performed accompanied by the chanting of the Hare Krishna maha-mantra. The second aspect of sacrifice involves the offering of all of our foodstuffs to the Lord before consumption. This form of sacrifice purifies the food and, when we consume it, purifies our body and mind. This sacrifice of offering all of our food to Krishna when accompanied by the chanting of the Hare Krishna maha-mantra is equal to the ancient sacrifices (such as ashvamedha yajna, gomedha-yajna, rajasuya yajna, etc.) described in the scriptures. This is further stressed by Lord Krishna in the Bhagavad-gita (3.13): yajna-shishtasinah santo mucyante sarva-kilbishaih bhunjate te tv agham papa ye pacanty atma-karanat "The devotees of the Lord are released from all kinds of sins because they eat food which is offered first for sacrifice. Others who prepare food for personal sense enjoyment, verily eat only sin." Text 58 mameva nityam dhyayante te mat pranadhikah priyah tadupasparshamatrena puto vayushca pavakah Translation They are more dear to Me than My life, who everyday meditate only on Me. The air and fire become pure simply even by their indirect touch. Text 59 kaler dasha-sahasrani madbhaktah santi bhu-tale ekavarna bhavishyanti madbhakteshu gateshu ca Translation For 10,000 years of kali such devotees of mine will fill the whole planet. After the departure of My devotees there will only be one varna [outcaste]. Text 60 madbhaktashunya prithivi kaligrasta bhavishyati etasminnantare tatra krishnadehadvinirgatah Translation Devoid of My devotees, the earth will be shackled by kali. Saying this Krishna departed. Hare Krishna...

  15. There was a time when both suras and asuras were devoted to Lord Vishnu. That was in Satya Yuga. Then many of the asuras became averse to Lord Vishnu. Therefore the term asura now means one who is not a devotee of Vishnu or Krishna. Someone who is born in a demon family may be a devotee of Krishna (e.g. Prahläd Maharaj, Vibhishana). Only the name of their dynasty is asura, the personality born in asura family still is a devotee of Krishna. Any pure devotee who gives up his body is given a svarupa in spiritual world. That svarupa is similar to the svarupa they had in the material world. Sri Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur used to say that the svarupa of all these devotees in Gauda Lila is not different. It is the same. One who is lame right now is eternally lame in the spiritual world. But that lameness does not disrupt his devotional service for Krishna. Spiritual world is above the considerations of sura and asura. A person born in asura family may be a devotee of Krishna and may go back to Godhead and his svarupa will be asura. It is in this world that we call asuras as bad and suras as good. It may not be necessary. Some demigods or suras may also have bad qualities (which we have seen sometimes)... So these are simply names of dynasties - sura and asura. They donot apply to devotees of Krishna who are beyond all material considerations.
  16. http://www.geocities.com/lahari_krishna/ Some more rascaldom in kali yuga... You can see that this cheater has also given a mantra of his own, by replacing the word Vasudevaya with Lahari Krishnaya in the mantra "Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya".

  19. Before you advertise any person as God, make sure he satisfies the criteria of God. 1) Mr. Lahiri Krishna says he is God, and at the same time he says he is Jesus Christ. But Jesus Christ is not God, he is the son of God. So how can a father be a son ??? 2) Kalki avatara is not supposed to come right now. It is still 4 lakh 27 thousand years before Kalki avatara arrives on earth. Moreover, Mr. Lahiri Krishna does not satisfy the characteristics of Kalki given in the scriptures. Kalki should be riding the Devadatta horse and holding a sword in hand, Kalki should be possessed of all mystic abilities and the only purpose of Kalki is to destroy all the sinful people. So, how many people has Mr. Lahiri Krishna killed ??? And it is also given in shastra that the name of the father of Lord Kalki will be Vishnuyasa and that Kalki will be born in a village called Shambala (in present Orissa). So, what makes you think that Kalki avatara is preponed ??? 3) Does this person have the markings of Vishnu on his hands, feet (flag, conch, etc) ? Does he have the thirty two characteristics of a great personality ??? 4) I checked out the website and in a lecture, Mr. Lahiri Krishna says " I have been studying and doing research for 43 years and I know now that God is only one. " ... How come God has to do research to come to knowledge ??? In any of the previous incarnations, Krishna has not done any research. All the research work is already complete. This proves that Mr. Lahiri Krishna is not God. 5) Why is the name Lahari Krishna not mentioned in any of the vedic scriptures ??? 6) Krishna has 2 incarnations in the Kali age - One is Sri Krishna Chaitanya who is predicted in the srimad bhagavatam as follows : krsna varnam tvisa krsnam, sangopangastra parshadam ! yajnaih sankirtana-präyair yajanti hi su-medhasah !! (11.5.32) KRSNA SAYS IN ATHARVA VEDA : "Towards the end of the period between four-thousand to five thousand years in Kali-yuga, I will descend on the earth as Gauranga, a golden-complexioned saintly brahmana in a place by the Ganges' shore and later become the crest-jewel of all sannyasis, exhibiting all My transcendental qualities including supreme renunciation and complete detachment from material desires. In the form of Lord Gauranga, I will display all the thirty-two bodily symptoms of a great personality with my arms extending to my knees. I will become my own devotee, very advanced in bhakti-yoga and teach the worship of Lord Krsna (Myself) by the chanting of My own holy names and relishing the mellows of My own devotional service. At that time only My most confidential devotees will be able to understand Me." - (Atharva Veda, third khanda, Brahma-vibhaga) Caitanya Upanisad of Atharva Veda (the whole text of 19 verses) In that place [where Sri Caitanya appears] is a wonderful city like an eight-petal lotus flower. (commentary of Bhaktivinoda Thakura on Chandogya Upanisad 8.1.1 of Sama Veda) In the middle of that lotus-city is a place called Mayapura, and in the middle of Mayapura is a place called Antardvipa. That place is the home of Lord Caitanya, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. (commentary of Bhaktivinoda Thakura on Chandogya Upanisad 8.1.2) In the Kali-yuga, Supreme Lord will appear in a brahmana's family. He will teach the message of the Upanisads and the dharma-sastras. He will defeat the atheists and offenders and He will establish the truth of Vaisnava-dharma. (Krsna Upanisad 2.6) In the seventh manvantara, in the beginning of the Kali-yuga, the Supreme Personality of Godhead accompanied by His own associates, will descend in a golden form to the earth. He will teach the chanting of His own holy names. (Purusa-bodhini Upanisad of Atharva Veda) In the age of Kali, intelligent persons perform congregational chanting to worship the incarnation of Godhead who constantly sings the name of Krsna. Although His complexion is not blackish, He is Krsna Himself. He is accompanied by His associates, servants, weapons and confidential companions. (Srimad-Bhagavatam 11.5.32, Karabhajana Muni speaks to King Nimi) The Supreme Personality of Godhead will come in a golden form, full of peace, and a beautiful long neck. He will be surrounded by many saintly devotees. (Agni Purana) O sage whose wealth is austerity, in the Kali-yuga everyone will see My form as a sannyasi, a form filled with tears of bliss and bodily hairs standing erect. (Lord Krsna in Bhavisya Purana) The Supreme Personality of Godhead will again appear in this world. His name will be Sri Krsna Caitanya and He will spread the chanting of the Lord's holy names. (Devi Purana) The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Who enjoyed glorious pastimes with Sridama, Dama, and other gopa boys in Vrndavana forest, and Whose eyes glanced at the gopis' breasts, will again come to this world to reveal the nature of pure spiritual love. At that time His name will be Caitanya. (Garuda Purana) The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Who enjoyed pastimes with the gopis, Who day and night filled the people of Vrndavana with happiness, Who killed Kamsa, and Who in the war between the Kauravas made friendship with the Pandavas, will come again to the earth. Of this there is no doubt. His arm decorated with a bamboo danda, He will be a sannyasi and his name will be Caitanya. (Garuda Purana) To deliver the conditioned souls burning in the trouble of Kali-yuga, in the first sandhya of that age I will take birth among the Brahmanas. (Garuda Purana) In My original spiritual form, perfect and complete, I will become the son of Sacidevi in Navadvipa-Mayapura at the beginning of Kali-yuga. (Garuda Purana) In the first sandhya of Kali-yuga, the Supreme Personality of Godhead will assume a golden form. First He will be the husband of Laksmi, and then He will be a sannyasi who stays near Lord Jagannatha at Puri. (Garuda Purana) In His early pastimes He appears as a householder with a golden complexion. His limbs are beautiful, and His body, smeared with the pulp of sandalwood, seems like molten gold. In His later pastimes He accepts the sannyasa order, and He is equipoised and peaceful. He is the highest abode of peace and devotion, for He silences the impersonalist nondevotees. (Mahabharata, Dana-dharma-parva ch. 189, Vaisampayana Muni speaks) In the Kali-yuga, I will leave Goloka and to save the people of the world, I will become the handsome and playful Lord Gauranga. (Markandeya Purana) O divija (demigods), please come and advent as devotees on this earth in the age of Kali. I will incarnate as the son of Saci to inaugurate the congregational chanting of the name of Krsna. (Narada Purana) O brahmana, in the age of Kali I will appear disguised as a devotee of the Lord and I will deliver all the worlds. O demigods, in the Kali-yuga please take birth as devotees on the earth. I will appear as the son of Saci in the Kali-yuga to start the sankirtana movement. His form will be golden, He will delight in chanting the Lord's holy names, and His name will Caitanya. (Nrsimha Purana) In the first sandhya of Kali-yuga I will appear on the earth in a beautiful place by the Ganges' shore. I will be the son of Sacidevi and My complexion will be golden. (Padma Purana) The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Who is filled with bliss, Who rescues the devotees from a host of calamities, and Who is the master of yoga and the object of the yogis' meditation, will appear in His transcendental form and will be known by the name Caitanya. The Supreme Person, Sri Krsna Himself, who is the life of Srimati Radharani, and is the Lord of the universe in creation, maintenance, and annihilation, appears as Gaura, O Mahesvari. In Kali-yuga, I will descend to the earth with My associates. In Navadvipa, which is surrounded by the Ganges, I will take birth in Sacidevi's womb. They who are bewildered by My illusory potency will not understand the great secret of the appearance in this world of Me in My personal form, in My form as the incarnation of devotion, in My form as the incarnation of a devotee, in My form bearing the name of a devotee, in My form as a devotee, and in My form as the giver of devotional service. This secret is not to be revealed to them. Only the saintly, pure, renounced devotees, diligently engaged in My devotional service, will be able to understand Me in these five forms. My dear male and female associates, headed by Sridama and Subala, who came to this world at the time of My advent as Lord Krsna, will come again during the Kali-yuga. The gopas will become the sixty-four mahantas and the twelve gopalas. To establish the truth of religion, I will enjoy many pastimes with them. In this way I will again reveal the path of devotional service, which has been destroyed in the course of time. My sons should also descend to the earth, assume the forms of devotees, and, by My order, also work to re-establish the principles of true religion. At this time My names will be: Krsna Caitanya, Gauranga, Gauracandra, Sacisuta, Mahaprabhu, Gaura and Gaurahari. Chanting these names will bring devotion to Me. gauri sri-radhika devi harih krsna prakirtitah ekatvac ca tayoh saksad iti gaura-harim viduh The golden Goddess Radha is known by the name Gauri and the dark Lord Krsna is known by the name Hari. Hearing His beloved's words, which were filled with joy and love, Lord Krsna passionately embraced Her. Then by the touch of His inconceivable potency Their two forms joined and became one, a single form endowed with Sri Radha's divine love and glorious splendor. In a dream Lord Krsna showed all this to Sri Radha. (Yoga-vasistha) Other direct references are found in the Visvasara tantra, Kularnava tantra, Brahma-rahasya, and Visnu-yamala. Besides these there are complete chapters about Sri Caitanya's incarnation in the Vayu Purana and Bhavisya Purana, which are too long to quote here. Also there is a text by the name Caitanya Upanisad within the Atharva Veda, which explains the Lord's incarnation in Kali-yuga. I have not cited it here, as it was rediscovered in recent times, so some people will reject its authenticity, or at least its value as evidence. Sri Caitanya's incarnation was a hidden incarnation, thus He buried references to His appearance deep within the ocean of Vedic texts. His desire was that His disguise would not be betrayed, so He made sure these references would remain hidden until after His incarnation was complete. These texts were always present, but by the inconceivable yoga-maya of the Lord, He covered His true identity even from the Vedic scholars and panditas. Only the pure devotees understood His actual identity. The other incarnation is Kalki which will arrive 4lakh 27 thousand years from now... Thats a long time... This Lahiri Krishna is cheating !!!! His philosophy has many flaws...
