  2.

There are some Shaivite sects who practice using marijuana.. I'm not sure how or why they use it.. I gave up that stuff a while ago.. It agitates my mind more than settle it..

i use to also smoke alot of weed and then kind of meditate on the lord for while the experiamce was kind of spiritual. but my mind also became very agitated and very unsettled. that why i gave it up also. but at the same time in a weird way it also kind of help paved the way for the path of my spiritual journey. but i would not use it ever when im try to meditate again, im at the point where it agitate me more then calm me down.

  3.

    Actually, you are.

    Mohini-murti is not a "woman".

She is a feminine form of Lord Vishnu.

So, you are the one that brought ordinary women into the discussion of Mohini-murti.

even so is it not taught in hindu homes that your first god is your mother, then your father, then god. say this in no wat disrespect to the lord but even yor your mother a woman comes first before the lord.

  4.

Actually, the shakti comes from Shaktiman, so Shaktiman does not depend on shakti, but the shakti depends on the Shaktiman.

First is the male Krishna and from him the female comes out from his shakti.

So, to say that without woman there would be no man is ultimately false because shastra says that without Shaktiman there can be no shakti.

The female energy or shakti is created by Shaktiman for his own enjoyment.

yes i know all this, but it really dosent apply here, if there wasnt any women in the world how would we procreate. so there we need women just as much as women need us. that was the point i was trying to make. if god made women just for only enjoyment that whats the point of having them for procreation. ur confusing the spiritual realm the the material.

  5.

Why are you so averse to male God.

Only you always speak of some female god?

dont u think its kinda disrespectfull to say some female god? female goddeses are there for a reason, without women there would be no man. beside this is not ordinary female god this is a direcet avatar of the one who you hold so dear to your heart.

Of course it is a blessing. The real blessing from the divine is change of our consciousness, not an increase in our bank balance (altough that can happen as well).

Dreams of the Divine are always real. Our 'subconsciousness' is seeking out the Divine all the time, but only rarely we are blessed with the Divine appearing in our dreams. So consider yourself very blessed and be thankful to Mother Laxmi for inspiring you on the way to the spiritual world.

how about if you only see the gods or godesses in murti or oicture form is that still a good sign

  7. misinterpretation and misuse of a religion leads to war ( crusades) , that too not on all cases . i think the total number of crusades is significantly lower than that of the total wars fought till this date .
your right on what u said about misinterpretation of religion. a typical example is al qada. people who misinterprit or misuse religion for there own personal advantages are sick in there heads. they think there doing gods work, but gid does not approve of such things

  8. i feel ike whats the point to being born to this world............alot of people would say the point of being born of this world is to become god counsiese. but everything is just so repetative u wake up u go to work everyday u come home do it all over again, then u get married and have a bunch of kids then u die of old age. u work ur whole life so all u could do is retire and die. what the point of all this, its repetative boring abd not worth it at all. whatsd the point?

  11. is there any conections with lucid dreaming and vedic astrology or even meditation, is there any indication about kucid dreaming in the vedas. i remember a story in the mahabarta when sri krishnas guru took both sri krishna and sri balarama to a secred temple by way of outer body experiance, this was done by some meditation. it has been noted the lucid dreaming could lead to outerbody experiances. anyways is there any explinaton for this in astrology and the vedas?????????????

  12. "I read something that one of the acarayas said that if you go to the lord because you are in distress you are a sudra. If you go to him for money you are a vaisya. I can't remember what the ksaitrya one was. If you go to the Lord for wisdom you are a brahmana"- this was written by ancient mariener in anothe thread. it got me thinking what if i wanted all three of theese things from the lord. what if u were distressed, what if u wanted money, and u wanted infineate wisdom that onlly the lord can give you, what would that make you. or would u just be simply greedy in the lords eye.

  13. India makes cola from cow urine

To millions of devout Hindus, it's the real thing: a cola made from the urine of India's sacred cows.

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, India's leading Hindu cultural group, has developed Gau Jal or Cow Water, at its research centre in the Indian holy city of Haridwar on the River Ganges, and hopes it will be marketed as a 'healthy' alternative to Coke and Pepsi.

Hindus worship cows for their life-sustaining dairy products, but many also consume bovine urine and faeces in drinks and spice mixes for their "health-giving" properties.

In some Indian states, cow dung and urine are sold in regular dairy shops alongside milk and yogurt, and "ayurvedic" Indian health food companies make porridge, toothpaste and tonic drinks which claim to cure ailments ranging from liver complaints to diabetes and cancer. The urine is also believed to have disinfectant properties while the dung is used in many Indian village huts as a clean and antiseptic flooring.

Now, the RSS's Cow Protection Department has invented a new urine-based soft drink it hopes will promote its health-giving properties to a wider market. "We refer to gau ark (cow urine) as gau jal (cow water) as it has immense potential to cure various diseases. We have developed a soft drink formula with gau jal as the base and it has been sent to a laboratory at Lucknow for testing," said director Om Prakash.

His team is now focusing on packaging, marketing, and of course preservation to stop its curative drink from going whiffy in the summer heat.

"It will be a revolution of sorts. The acceptance of cow urine as a potent medicine is increasing day by day and once it comes as a cold drink, its demand will definitely increase. It will prove and justify the high stature accorded to a cow in Indian culture." he added.

  14.

It fluctuates for me day to day, week to week, and month to month.

Sometimes feeling spiritual, other times totally unspiritual.

I like to see my body as a part of nature. Just like the weather changes from day to day, and the seasons come and go...so to it is with the body.

While the body remains, one must tolerate fluctuation. This fluctuating is temporary.

One thing that helps me revitalize to appreciate more, is nature, riding my bike and walking my dog on nice slow walks. God is there somedays in these activity...then I know all is not empty.

Hope this helps in some small way.

that is so sure, its funny how our emotions/ frame of mind contribute to sirituality. some stime if feels like to most wonderful thing in the world sometimes it could feel like the worst thing that u have ever felt
