firmness is good... however one way of looking at it is... the negative forces which surround can be seen as fertilizer for one's spritual growth... just as a beutiful rose needs fertilizer to grow... to give into the negative forces only helps in making the forces of negative grow... ie. feeding the beast (sort of say) more and more... i agree with gHari that one needs not be subimissive to the demons... however one will (in time) come to the realization that the demons cannot hurt you... unless you loose faith in the One... and fall off the path of God... may patience and constancy be your light... peace be on you... /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hare Krishna, "Lord Krishna is the Supreme Truth, the supreme cause and sustaining force of everything, both material and spiritual. Advanced souls surrender unto Him in devotion, whereas impious souls divert their minds to other objects of worship" i see the truth in the above quote... La Ilaha Illa Allah (there is no God, but God)... which simply states the same as above quote... would i be correct if i say that the devotees of Krishna believe in one God? peace

thank you theist and I_love_krishna for the warm welcome... and for the definition... i find myself doing exactly that many times... and now i know another mantra on how to say it... i've seen people start a post with Hare Krishna... can you also use it as a greeting... or was the use of it... for guidence before posting? sorry if my question seem so simple... i hope my ignorance does not offend anyone... peace be on you

Salaam (peace) ... this is what we say to say hi /images/graemlins/smile.gif... in the place i was born... in Iran... i reside now in the USA...i found this site by accident (if you believe that) and have found enough good people and reasons to register and say hello.. in hopes to better learn and understand... please don't hate on me because of my name and background... at least wait until you get to know me /images/graemlins/wink.gif... heheh.. i only say this because i see allot of very heated debates here between krishna and allah...
