Very well said this one. It is the hiding universal truth that many on this earth still are unaware. God is only one. Let there be a universal religion , that it "Humanity". Let us stop all warfares against each religions.

Since long time, I have a doubt over the history of religions. I am quite aware that Hinduism dates back to long time than other religions.Then, I doubt if there are any other religions such as Islam , Christianity at the time of Ramayana or Mahabharata.What are the People of western countries during Ramayana? Are they Christians or Jews or Muslims?

This discussion is leading to discrepencies between Shiva and vishnu though both are the same. This feeling of Difference is not good for the Hinduism which is giving other Religions a way to pin point on hinduism that it is a religion of no unity etc. Please understand the thesis of this post. Let us say Om namah sivaya, Om namo narayanaya,om namo vigneswaraya,swamiye saranam ayyappa, Ome sai ram.

I am just interested to know if the difference between vaishnavas and shivas are still prevailing? Also, I can see a sub caste in brahmins as Vaishnavas who are the priests in Vishnu temples for eg: in Tirumala, all the priests are Vaishnavas only. Similar way, are they any "shivas" at present?

In my view Krishna asks us not to mislead by False spritual leaders etc who claim themselves as the incarnations of God. Krishna has forseen the Kaliyuga where many people , inorder to fulfil their interests , claim themselves as gods. So he tells us not to be mislead by these so called demi gods

I heard that in the same bhagavad gita, Krishna says to seek " Sadgurus" instead of directly praying Gods. "Sadgurus" are the ones who can take us to the planets of God.Sadgurus know exactly how to attain salvation and they can make you to go in the right way to the God. The famous sadgurus are "shirdi Sai baba ", ,rama krishna parama hansa, Ramana maharshi, Akkalkota swamy, Meher baba etc.

Dear all, I am a great believer of god and always try to have devotional feelings by listening devotional songs, watching devotional movies etc. But As a human being, I have some limitations mainly the control over senses. How much I prey god, i am unable to control my senses ( mainly anger )some times, he is not giving enough power to control.Is it not a sin? Its really distressong me a lot.

Chanting of mantra itself doesnt imply eternal happiness. The mantra should be as with as pure heart as one can. While chanting, your soul and heart should be completely dedicated to God. Otherwsie, no use. I think
