  1. If you knew me in real life, you would not say such a thing. While I may be seen as an intellectual by some, this soul realizes that the mind is only a tool and not an identity. It is my servant and not my master. The ego is quite intact, and this needed to communicate in human terms. But it doesn't run the show. It's a clerk, and understands it's position. There is a conciousness behind the mind. If you were to drop dead this very instant, that flame keeps burning although it's torchbearer has ceased to exist. That is closer to who you really are, than the traveling freakshow that most people have turned themselves into. Adorned with all manner of earthy dirt, thinking themselves beautiful. I'm here to tell those people they have a booger hanging out of their nose. And they're not gonna want to hear it either. x
  2. As long as you're there, why not dive in? x
  3. Numbers belong to logic. Logic is duality. I do understand cycles. You can be a hard core atheist and still see what is coming to the world. People just need an excuse to lite the fuse. They often find it through religious prophecy. It is the season which matters, not the numbers on a piece of paper. x
  4. Krishna says this. Krishna says that. The fact is, these are words in a book and nothing more. Unless you were there and heard Krishna, you don't know for sure what he said. You have faith that they are true and to the point, but unless you have all those thousands of words written in your own heart, you will never know. It goes way beyond memorizing them. They become you. The book they came from, closes. I understand people very well. And speaking their language is a matter of trial and error. The heart understands all languages, and when mine finds the correct one, you'll hear what I say. Not before. x
  5. And that is the correct path. Mutual respect. Our only differences are products of a maya drunk mind. It can't be trusted. It is the divider. You want to re-combine, Not divide. You want to see brotherhood instead of sects. Perception of self changes as one goes down any path in life. Those who don't share the new perception with you may have a hard time when you talk about it. Its not going to jive with what they know, but since you know their minds, you can still test your ability with words to at least give them an idea of what its like at that level. If they don't hang you on a cross first of course. The world doesn't like people who look under God's robes. It puts a lot of priests out of work too. x
  6. As many of you here are scripture oriented, I've decided to post this for discussion. Maybe you can find a better explanation here than what I've been writing about concerning the nature of the soul when it proclaims itself "God". http://www.starwon.com.au/~soham/avadhuta/chap01.htm x
  7. You have to be both the ocean and the raindrop. The difference exist only in the mind. Creation is nothing more than infinite forms out of the same clay. The mind seldom pays attention to anything other than the forms. It becomes fascinated with it's ability to create them. It seldom checks to see where the clay comes from. x
  8. Messiahs come and go. The reason why they come stays the same as does their message. x
  9. Does a raindrop cry when it hits the ocean? You have to go further back than even before Krishna. If scriptures are all you have, the road will end for you there, with Krishna. x
  10. Thank you. I appreciate your creativity. Guess where you got that creativity from? Its inheirited. That little god spark called a soul is the same as the big god spark that creates you and the heavens above this human world. x
  11. The Mormons thought they were on to something too. They're still here. x
  12. Eternally Individuals? No. For as long as the current creative cycle goes on, yes. But eternally, no. Further, is it not mentioned somewhere that the creator, at the end of the creative cycle, eventually reabsorbs all of creation back into itself? All the manifest God is poured back into the unmanifest God so that only the unmanifest God remains? Where is individuality then?
  13. They're not required. Its not to say they won't provide some lubrication for learning and conditioning of the mind. You have to remember that there were spiritual paths long before there was reading and writing. Consider books a modern luxury. Just don't allow them to become a modern trap. x
  14. The problem that arises here is I appear to be insulting people's view of what they believe God "is". God is everything. Without any exception whatsoever. When you use terms like "he" or "him", you are already reducing God down to your own level. A Saint reduces that down even further. A human body with "God" inside. When you take water out of the ocean and freeze it, it will assume any shape you desire. But when it melts and returns to its natural state. You can pour it back into the ocean. Where did it go? Are human souls not the same? Some souls sit on the beach, apart from what made them. Some souls are wading around with water up to their knees. And some souls swim, with the ocean all around them. x
  15. I have never suggested that God was limited. But humans are limited. Even perfected saints can only do so much here. That has been my point all along. While I make make a claim of being "God", I am fully aware of the limitations of my human self in it's ability to express the totality of what God is. But there is still NO seperation from God. That exists totally in the mind, and the mind can be moved aside. I may be a poor ambassador for the almighty, but I am never apart from it. x
  16. So you disagree that the highest saints are not one with God? x
  17. The Path of the Masters, by Dr. Julian Johnson. Autobiography of a Yogi, by Swami Yogananda. The Mustard Seed, by Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh. x
  18. The mental image. Because it is the mind that you must control to perceive true reality, you have to give it something to focus on. Something that represents the highest idea of what humanity can aspire to. All deities perform this function to their respective followers. Krishna for many represents this idea. It has the advantage of being one of the oldest ideas of divinity that has survived into the modern day and this explains Krishna's widespread following. Krishna is just a name. A label. But it represents an absolute spiritual truth. x
  19. Same in appearance. Same in substance. Different in perceptions. And thats all that divides saints from sinners. Perception. x
  20. You think? You must call upon all your mental powers to help you decide which is real and which isn't. Faith is just dangerous. What's left over after the mind decides, is the black sand in the bottom of the gold pan. How much gold you walk away with is depending on your ability to tell gold from mud. Most will come home with lots of mud. Only a living master can show you which is which. And explain to you why. x
  21. If I were a blind man, what would you recommend then? The ability to tread a spiritual path has nothing to do books. Use them for training wheels, but know when to let them go. x
  22. I'm nothing but a leaf on the God tree. Anyone who thinks differently has not been listening. x
  23. Pay no attention to numbers. Such entities only come when it is their season to come. But Shiva is limbering up for the dance ahead. Watch, and try to stay out of the way. x
  24. It is a difficult matter to explain a beautiful sunset to someone who has been blind from birth. No matter how eloquent the tongue, the idea will never quite carry because there in no common frame of reference. So it is with me. I can never prove any of what I say here, but I will invite you to prove it to yourself by having the same experience. Is that not fair? Its the ONLY way you will ever know. A God act? Believe it or not, I have a regular life. I don't sit around all day thinking about God. But at the same time, it is a presence in my life that never leaves me. It permeates who or what I am. When I move, God moves as my shadow. When a question comes my way, the God part of me already has the answer waiting. It just a matter of how fast I, the human, can offer the translation through my keyboard. I never learned to type. I hunt and peck to this day. But I can hardly keep up with what comes out of me sometimes. Don't confuse the one who types the keys with the one who dictates the message. One and the same, but measured out differently. I am aware of both, in the same way a flute is aware of the wind that blows through it to produce a sound. I can't speak for Sai Baba, but I understand the difficulties in his life better than most. x
  25. God is the clay of creation as well as the hand that sculpts it. There is no worship of the fact, only observation of it. I don't want your money, or visibility, or anyone falling at my feet. I have no use for any of that. Call me a fool on the hill if you like. It changes nothing in me, but it locks you into an opinion you will have to escape from before you move forward. x
