The question is this: If Srila Govinda Maharaj is Srila Prabhupada`s dearmost son, why is it not possible for ISKCON to join hands and rally with him? Is it because Srila Govinda Maharaj is a Sevaite-President Acharya?

There are several Upanisads associated with Atharva Veda that only became known centuries after the dating of the Atharva Veda.

The Caitanya Upanisad might have it's appearance by and through some Vaishnava rishi in the period just after the period of Mahaprabhu and the Goswamis, but according to the Saraswata tradition it was not Bhaktivinoda, who simply discovered the text after a search when he had been requested by some Vaishnavas in Bengal to comment on the text.

 

There is no law or rule that new Upanisads cannot be discovered by self-realized rishis. It might in fact be an Upanisad that was only known on higher planets until a Vaishnava rishi in the lineage of Mahaprabhu was given the verses through yogic trance while visiting another planet.

 

Bhaktivinoda was in fact an admitted space traveler.

He had that mystic perfection.

He very well could have brought the text back down from a higher realm.

 

That is the difference between a siddha mahatma like Bhaktivinoda and a sahajiya pretender like the mental midgets who think they are in a position to condescend upon Bhaktivinoda Thakur.

Jesus also warned about false prophets melvin. Can't trust everyone. And when it comes to matters of who is God and who is guru then we should not trust anyone until God Himself confirms it in our hearts.

I only feel compassion for Sri Kalki Bhagavan if you think he`s a false prophet and a plague, Theist. When Jesus said he was the only way to God. He meant that his example was the only way to God.

What examples did Jesus show? They`re countless. That we should not do business inside God`s temple. That we should forgive 7 times 7 times 7 to the one who has done us wrong 7 times 7 times 7. That if someone throws a stone at us, we should throw one a piece of bread. That we should love one another. That we should not judge others so we won`t be judged. That faith can move mountains. That the father always rejoices if his prodigal son comes home. That what is from Cesar is Cesar`s and what is from God is God`s. That what comes directly from the heart which is evil is a sin not the one that goes inside the mouth. That only children can enter the kingdom of God. That if you offer one a drink you did it for God. That one is blessed if he visits the sick, those in prison. That one should be a good samaritan.So, what does these examples Jesus taught to his followers imply. Why, it`s simply all about LOVE!

You can`t see any contradiction between Advaita and Dvaita maybe because LOVE is always present in your heart as your guide. Love rejoices in the truth not evil. Since these teachings are good because they are truthful not bad then you see them as one. Again there`s no contradiction here since you know they are simultaneously different( One is good while the other is better).

Before we judge Sri Kalki Bhagavan, we should know what he`s preaching. If he is teaching us about LOve, then it means the only way to end Kaliyuga( the age of quarrel and hypocrisy) is to Love one another same as we love God. If the next Venus (Goddess of Love) transit is on 2012 then it is a sign that Love has prevailed over Kaliyuga.

For those who might have missed it, I would like to recommend a very nice documentary by academic theologian Dr. Robert Beckford. Especially, in the first two parts of his series on YouTube he goes to Vrindavan, India and meets with the devotees and learns about Krishna in his quest to understand the truth about Jesus.

He does a very good job of presenting Krishna in a very good light - not bad for a Christian theologian.

Love is never a goal. Goals are created with your intellect. Love resides in your heart. Love for GOD is just there in your heart. You do not need explanations for that.

I`ve created this thread simply because it seems everyone here in this spiritual discussion forum is only interested in being one with God or simultaneously one with but different from God. We have lost the very essence of what all the sages, Gurus, incarnates, and even God Himself has been trying to convey to us since time immemorial. That our goal is Love!

There can never be oneness with God or devotional service to God if we don`t know what is Love!

1 Corinthians 13:1-13, " Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not envy. It doesn`t boast. It is not proud. It is not rude. It is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered. It keeps no record of wrongs. Love doesn`t delight in evil but rejoices in truth. It always protects, always trusts, always perserveres. Love never fails."

Now, I know why Kaliyuga never leaves. It`s because we stopped learning what Love is all about.

Sri Bhagavan( used to be called Kalki or Kalki Bhagavan by devotees, however, he prefers to be called just Bhagavan), the founder of the Golden Age Foundation in India is considered to be the living Avatar capable of giving enlightenment, not only to a few individuals,but to the whole world.

According to Kalki, Earth will start entering the Golden Age of enlightenment in June 2004 during the Venus Transit. This process will come to a conclusion at the next venus transit in 2012.

The time in front of us says Kalki will be filled with unprecedented changes, challenges, and turmoil. It is not much mankind can do about it. But those who have worked on settling all their differences will have much easier ride than others.

Wasn`t it that Srila Prabhupada was very much amused by a little girl from Boston who called him, Swami Jesus? He even quoted ( during that incident) a verse from the New testament in the Bible which says, " ...and a child shall lead them."

So, what actions to be taken?

 

The person who kept writing this, doing so despite of earliest remarks by other forumers (myself included) that what he was stating was not fact. Melvin seems to be hell-bent in trying to fool us into thinking that Kalki is ANYTHING BUT an actual person (an Avatar) who will strengthen this screwed up World.

 

He even went as far as calling those terrorists who smash those planes into the Twin Towers in Sept. 11 as Kalki. If that is not an insult to Hinduism, I don't know what is.

The World Trade Center( Twin Towers) before it was smashed to pieces were the symbolic pillars of capitalism. How many, if you can count, were world traders who traded ( in the World Trade Center) bulls and cows, from different nations, only to be slaughtered for meat that would satisfy the appetites of millions of meat eaters who only eat hamburgers, steaks and corned beefs for breakfast? This incident is not new. It goes way back to Krsnah`s time when the Lord during His childhood felled the two arjuna trees near His house by dragging a yoke in between the trees and with ease pulled them down. By taking down these trees, the two souls who lived as arjuna trees all their lives achieved liberation because of what Krsnah did.

I think this (Melvin's) typical behavior of an example Christian/Muslim behavior.

In Christianity, they kept potraying God as something which can born and die like humans. Their religion is based on a dead god. In Islam, they kept saying that no divine beings/gods will come down from heaven after Muhammad, so anyone who is Enlightened, it probably means that such person is a false prophet.

 

Ans: I once wrote an article which came out in our local daily The Sunstar entitled, " The Second Coming of Christ". That I said in my article they`ve missed Christ 2nd coming when His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada came to the USA/World on 1965-1977 to teach everyone love of God( Krsnah consciousness).

 

But in Hindusm (Buddhism and Judaism alike), we have different opinions about Divine beings. Both Hindusm and Judaism believes that God is beyond life and death and IF He wants to come down and mingle with Humans, there is nothing to stop Him from doing so (other than His own Will).

 

Ans: Hinduism is similar to Catholicism. Both worship demigods or saints. Visnu/Krsnah is the God of Hinduism. Whereas the God of Catholicism is Christ.

 

In Buddhism, EVERYONE is capable of achieving Enlightenment. Matter a fact, Theravada Buddhism followers are expecting a New Age Buddha - Maitreya to come soon and lead them.

 

Ans: Buddhism is Sivaism advocated by mayavadists.

 

So, there is a conflict here. Christians cannot accept this because that will make their Jesus obsolete (not like they are following his teaching anyway) and Muslims are fearful of Hindu predictions coming true. So, they do their level best to fool themselves into thinking that they could still have a place in the future when this "superior beings" come and guide Hindus and Buddhists (and hopefully, find a place for Jews alike ) to a better World.

 

Ans: It was Srila Prabhupada who described Christ Jesus as a saktyavesa avatar( an empowered incarnation of God)

 

Frankly speaking - the Future does not need Christians and Muslims.

A question: Gaudiya Vaishnavism (acintya-bheda-abheda) views individuality and ego as ignorance or illusion. Isn’t that ultimately Advaitic?
